    Yes Please on the flip through. I love to see how other people are using their books for day to day memories!

      Oh! And I'm using a weeks for planning and my TN standard for memory keeping and commonplacing.

      I love the tn for memory keeping. The tn has the best analogue feeling ✨

    Can i just say that I love that you started doing videos. I love how beautiful your journaling is and I get excited every time I see a video. Your style is amazing. I am still trying to figure out my plans for the new year, but I am setting up my hobonichi weeks so I will start there. I will probably also use the A5 HON for journaling.

      Thank you so much! I read your comment while commuting to work, and it instantly brightened my day. Setting up new notebooks can definitely feel overwhelming-we want everything to look perfect right away. But just remember, you have a whole year to make it your own and let your personality shine through ✨.

    I’m so happy to have found your channel! 😊✨ I’m loving watching your videos so much - your content is wonderful, and I find your voice soothing. I appreciate that you talk about more than just layouts, if that makes sense. Congratulations on 1000 subscribers!🎉
    TLDR: Cousin, plus giant A5 rings with Hemlock & Oak inserts. 😂💕
    {For myself this year, I’m using a Hobonichi Cousin for journaling & memory keeping. (I’m actually currently using a 2022 hardly-used one & loving it very much...now waiting on my 2025 & then have to figure out how to Franken-planner them together 😬). My functional planner isn’t a popular style 😅, but I need it because I’m caring for a family member. It’s A5 rings (huge!) with the most beautiful inserts from Hemlock & Oak. Lovely sustainable Canadian company}.💖 (Sorry for the long comment 😂).

    I just have fallen for your videos with book recommendations, just love it all. I’m excited to see your progression and what works and what you feel needs to change. For 2025, I’m using a Weeks for some planning but mostly journaling, I do have mega sneaker weeks that I was planning on letting it be my messy planner with notes but we will see. And then I actually bought the same Floating Bread and Cats notebook because it was amazing! I have this obsession of studying really remote areas around the world, and that’s where I’ll be documenting the places I research!

    • @adrislogs
      @adrislogs  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Your comments always brighten my day! 🌟 I find journaling about remote places so fascinating-if I may ask, how did that idea come to you? I think the Floating Bread cover is perfect for it, with the cats flying off to those faraway places, hahaha!

      @ I have a mini-hobby of looking at Apple Maps or Google Earth and spinning it around and randomly picking remote locations, then reading about it, the history, population (if any), etc. I’ve come across some wonderful and intriguing spots and I realized much later, I couldn’t always recall what location I’d virtually visited! So to a notebook it goes, and it is so fun!

      Thank you so much, truly! Your words mean so much to me and make me so happy! Ah, I know exactly what you mean-when it’s all writing, it can be hard for anything to stand out, and looking back, it’s tricky to find something that catches your attention. That’s actually why I started adding decorations to my journals-just as a fun way to make things pop without putting too much pressure on myself.
      And yes, Hobonichi isn’t cheap, especially when you’re trying out a new size or layout for the first time. There are so many great alternatives out there, though! I’m really curious about Kinbor’s paper-I’ve heard so much about it!

    I would love to see a flip-thru of your A6 notebooks! They look super cute & I like how all your journal covers seem to be cat themed even if unintentionally 😺they’re all so cute together!!

      I noticed that too! I feel like I’m betraying my dog, haha! I’ll definitely do a journal reflection and flip-through at the end of the year!

    adri, your spreads are incredible oh my gosh. i got the yumi kitagishi weeks for my main notebook of the year but i also like to keep others around for different usage. t-t i am trying to get my life off of the digital lately and i hope i get to achieve that for this upcoming year. (i mean like, keeping everything in notion or things like that)

    • @adrislogs
      @adrislogs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I feel you! When I was in uni, I kept everything digitally, but it honestly didn’t bring me much joy. Even though it sometimes meant retyping my notes, I always loved the analogue process-it just felt so much more precious. I’m so excited for you and hope the Weeks works perfectly for you!

    I love your spreads they look so nice! I love the journal mockup idea too! I’ve been wanting to do something like that too because I plan on using an a5 hon and an a6 next year. I think I might do my mock up digitally first.

    • @adrislogs
      @adrislogs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Digitally! That’s such a great idea-it hadn’t even crossed my mind, but now that you mention it, I think it would be amazing to design different types of spreads.

    Hi Adri! Firstly, I adore your videos & am over the moon you decided to create a YT for your journals. V inspiring! Do you have any advice for people wanting to start a similar channel? What camera equipment/tripod do you use to capture videos? Have a lovely weekend 💌🥰

    • @adrislogs
      @adrislogs  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Before starting the channel, I always thought I needed a fancy camera and a mic, so I kept postponing it. But eventually, I decided to take the leap! For filming, I just use my phone (iPhone 15 Pro), and my tripod is a flat lay one-I’ll attach the link to the Korean store where I got it so you can check out the style.
      If you’re thinking about starting a channel, my advice would be: just go for it! Try it out and see how it feels-you’ll always have time to improve along the way. Plus, filming on my phone makes the editing process so much easier, which is definitely a bonus!

      The first one is an a6 MD notebook, the second is a Hobonichi graph notebook, and the cover is from Hobonichi too!

      It usually does, but if you got the hobonichi weeks then it starts the first week of December! However, the a6 and a5 start in January💫
