Great video idea! My favorite movie is Come and See, a 1985 Soviet film about a teen who joins the resistance against the Nazis. He enters the war as an idealistic, naive boy, but he experiences extreme trauma and becomes a husk of a human being by the end. Amazing cinematography, acting, and sound design.
My favourite movie is Coco. Losing people around me is one of my biggest fears, and Coco really managed to grab me and gave me a new way to look at it. It's also a beautiful movie in general with amazing music and graphics
My 2 favourites are A Simple Life (a Hong Kong movie about growing old and maintaining links with our elders) and From Up on Poppy Hill (a Ghibli anime about not forgetting about the past while growing up - very nostalgic based in 60s Japan).
