Actuality, I believe it should be SIM card second, bank account 3rd as many banks require this information to open an account and you need it to access TD accounts on your phone. Plus it’s way harder to get an appointment without a local (Canadian) phone number
In most cases your temporary address like Airbnb apartments’s address will be enough to get a SIN, phone number and bank account. At least it worked for me in Calgary.
Hi guys ! Thank you for this rich contain 🙏 My question is about the PR : Can I do a soft landing and leave Canada before recieving my PR card , then when it arrives my friend send it to me by post or with someone, and then re-enter Canda when I want ?
Theoretically, yes - my family did just that back in 2008. However you must make sure you can trust whoever is to send you a card, and make sure you do it via safe and secure mail. If your card gets lost in transit, it might be very hard to recover: Make sure to consult the Canada.ca website in case there are any changes since then
@anna as you mentioned "please follow the link below to know the documents you need to apply for SIN" . I could not find the link in your channel anywhere . Can you add the link if forgot to add
It's like the first a new comer should do is to get the address, SIN number then SIM card because phone number will be required when opening a bank account guess am right ✅️.
Thank you for this video really very interesting please for the insurance health if you are a new immigrant and stay in Ottawa you have the right and access in the first days like Alberta??
Banks usually ask for SIN, however, you're not legally required to provide it in order to receive the service - the banks cannot refuse service if you don't provide a SIN. Here's the government guidance: www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/protection.html
May you kindly tell me more about the company Relocate Ltd whether its genuine or not. I am a foreigner who wishes to use their services to migrate to the Canada. Thank you for your help in advance
I vote for story with lost PR card!

That’s right. The order in which we presented - this might differ depending on your situation.

If you live in Ottawa, you'd be applying for Ontario health card. OHIP requires for you to be in the province for at least 153 days .
Beautiful Canada
It sure is!
Is sharing SIN necessary to get a credit card? I went to CIBC bank in Calgary and they told me to get SIN before I could apply for a credit card.

can I apply for SIN prior to my first time landing in canada? obviously after getting ecopr
You would need your PR card, so no, I don't think so
How easy is it to get a proof of address and how do I get it if I only just moved to Canada?
A phone bill, utility bill or your lease agreement would work.
SIN, SIM card, bank A/C??
May you kindly tell me more about the company Relocate Ltd whether its genuine or not. I am a foreigner who wishes to use their services to migrate to the Canada. Thank you for your help in advance
Pls tell us how you manage to get in canada without pr card
All possible ways, types of visas and immigration programs are available on Canada.ca website -> tab Immigration and Citizenship

🥰
As a visitor do i need a SIN?
No you don’t need it
@@MakeThatChange assuming one decides to seek for job as visitor, won't it be needed?
In order to actually get a job, you will need to get a work permit, which will also require you to get a SIN
Are you Canadian my dear
