ZPKB Firstly loving this Drama to bits!!! What to even say about SAJAL ALY she is just terrific.....I mean her each and every character feels so real so authentic Meenu is now added to this. The way she speaks, her eyes, everything on Point. Loving the chemistry between Hamza and Sajal the love is so pure and fresh. Zard Patton ka bann is breath of fresh air amidst the same pattern of dramas. Even the chemistry the love the fondness they have shown is so Pure and real. Words literally are falling short to describe this Drama. Thankyou Mustafa afridi for writing this gem. Saifee Hassan for his direction and ofcourse entire cast to puff off something this Beautiful. ZPKB: As you said the most effective way to reach the masses is through entertainment. Now that the people have a variety of content to choose from, they usually like to watch something light heated especially in our subcontinent. Kashf foundation has understood it as well. This show at no point becomes preachy & tries to maintain a balance. It’s enjoyable & that’s why it’s resonating with the audience.
I am in love with zpkb. Everything about that show is perfect. A classic ptv drama after so long!! Going to miss meenu, nofil and entire kaisar kalan when show ends.

I guess Iqtedar is a good guilty watch. Dramas like Iqtedar are part of the Tere Bin genre. They are hits and connect with the audience not bcz of impressive storytelling. U just need to tick a few pointers - Good looking leads who can create chemistry - Bickering scenes btw the leads (the enemies to lovers trope is an age old audience fav) - A rich male lead with shashka and a bit of ego & a female lead who gives him takkar & he essentially changes himself for her - Good production value - Good OST - Potential love interests for both leads (conveniently cousins in Pakistani dramas) to reinforce jealousy from both sides in the end - Enough plot to add angst btw the characters
In ZPKB : Malik Nadir knows Nofil is innocent but wants people to be suspicious of his character so when Meno gets caught with him at night it has a bigger impact Beautiful romantic scenes shown without any vulgarity . Loved it!
ZPKB is a masterpiece! The cast is phenomenal, and everything fits perfectly. The romance between Sajal Aly and Humza truly touched my heart. It's definitely one of the best Pakistani dramas so far, but Duniyapur will always be number one on my list!❤
IQTIDAR : The drama is really intriguing! And no it doesn't seem to be a typical drama, we still have no idea about the story like okay accident happened (i'm glad its going on a fast pace) but now what? Mehru and Shahnawaz aren't even in love yet, he's just a little inclined towards her but if we go by the ost and posters they have some romantic scenes as well as angst, also an indication of happening smth really unusual. I'm really looking forward to how will it happen or it will only be a lie. Seems like they will go by "keep your enemies closer" thing, it already gives wattpad/novel vibes tho. The acting of leads is really good especially Anmol baloch is killing it with her expressions and dialogues and I can already see the spark between the leads even though they aren't even a thing yet and its more of a revenge trope. I'm glad that they're trying to show the reality of politics and politicians and how it plays with ppl's lives, hence its getting popular not only in Pakistan but out of it too.
ZPKB: The romance is shown so beautifully and gracefully in both ZPKB and KMKT that you fall in love with couples and at no moment get cringe feelings. The entire night scene with minimal words, her trying to touch his hair was very cute. I look forward to knowing what they would write in letters they intend to exchange. On the other hand , Nasreen’s duas to Nofil, and Nofil crying on the arrest of culprits made the audience emotional with them. I like that Malik Nadir is not an entirely negative person. I think he would not disgrace Meenu, only try to make a deal with Nofil.
I'm really happy that ZPKB has revived that classic romance vibe. Their love story is both understated and incredibly impactful, especially that moment when she wanted to run her fingers through his hair and he leaned down for her. I was genuinely amazed because I haven't seen a romantic scene like that in our dramas before. I adore how Meenu openly shares her feelings for him without any hesitation.
I love how Dunyapur and Iqtidar tackle social issues while still providing entertainment. It's refreshing to see such quality content on television these days!

A very big shout out to Hassan for narrating the entire story of GHAIR, and on and off Aamina kept distracting him pleasantly but kudos Hassan wasn’t bothered a bit. Loved Amina’s giggles and laughs for not understanding anything about the story And yet we got the whole plot :) 👌 I literally stopped watching after one episode as it seemed so complicated but Hassan wow you made it simple!

This episode of ZPKB left me smiling and my heart fuzzy long after it ended. Love how the story takes different and unconventional turns and keeps you guessing each episode. Usually we see male characters climbing trees and walls fearlessly. In this case, we see the female lead doing it and the male lead expressing his emotions through tears. Genders roles have been reversed in simple, unassuming manner. That’s progressive storytelling. Also Meenu is headstrong and impulsive and Nofil is calm and gentle and the more mature of the two. They both know their limits and despite secretly meeting at night they wouldn’t do anything untoward. Meenu asked to touch his hair while initially she withdrew her hand. That was consent shown beautifully. Also, it’s rare that we see a woman complimenting a man’s hair. It’s usually the other way around☺️ Also the unconventional, pure and gentle relationship between Nasreen and Afzal is heartwarming. Both men are green flags👏 A great deal of thought has gone into the writing and making of the show and it shows.
Gentleman - I think they have added that ending just to give the cue for season 2 and get everyone excited about it and also leave audience with some questions so they can look forward to get answers later. This kind of ending is quite common in Hollywood series also like Stranger things, Mindhunter etc. Humayun Saeed is definitely trying to create this as an ongoing series how they do in Hollywood and on some Indian OTT platforms. I would say no one gets it right at first. Just give them some credit of taking this risk and creating such high quality production with limited budget. Storytelling, direction, production, technicalities everything takes time and tons of money especially with current economic situations. Just take sometime to appreciate and support your own people. I must say it’s a great start for the series and if we all support them very soon there will be new OTT platforms in Pakistan as well which can make great impact in growing your economy as well. It’s not just entertainment. These are some personal thoughts, having watched lots of Pakistani content and your reviews and meant no offence to anyone here.

I am also enjoying iqditar. The story is not unique but I feel the lead’s chemistry and the constant takraar…and how their love story will start because now the girl has immense hatred for shahs..how shenewaz is actually as a person..will he change ..all these plot points are keeping the audience engaged. Also the ost is good.
ZPKB: If this drama was written by Khalil ur Rehman: Gentleman Nofil would kill Malik sahab after Afzal is murdered and Meenu would tell him kaam pura kar ky aana . 😅
I'm really enjoying iqtidar; it offers everything the audience needs to stay engaged. I enjoyed the police station scene, especially how Mehru broke down and grabbed Zain's collars. Anmol Baloch nailed it and Zain's expressions were good too... Anmol acted very well in the hospital scene, crying alone on the bench the next morning after the accident when Rafay came to the hospital.One thing that makes me curious is how the love story will begin after all of this, as there are some scenes of Mehru and Shah in the OST. Most likely, he will pretend to be in love with her and eventually fall for her for real, but will Mehru fall into his trap as readily, or will she also fake?
Hassan and Aaman...in ZPKB, they did focus on family planning topic when Parveen died while delivering babies. There Maulvi Sahaab did gave a monologue on family planning and population explosion.
Ghair: after listening to the relationships between ghair drama characters, I almost passed out. 😅 Ufff so many people. Hassan great job remembering all those names 👍🏽
ZPKB - Malik is no soft panda...The reason he has compressed the gals false report is because he is using this episode to catch Meenu & Nofil together... He knows that the gal will not win in the court and it is better that he uses this situation to his advantage...He has put man behind Nofil bcoz he knows that Meenu will not be able to stay without seeing Nofil even though the village has been directed to not send their females in the family to be near Nofil...and they will get caught red handed, which is what happens in the next episode...

I am looking forward to they both eventually fall for each other as currently they like their fiances. Hero's face expressions are a bit vague, I felt he can improvise in that. ZPKB: Ever since watching the hair touching scene in the Ghazal video, I had been waiting patiently for that scene and BOY it did NOT disappoint. What an amazing chemistry. I am a 40+ woman and I felt like a giggly first time in love teenager while watching those scenes!! Amazingly written, shot AND performed. Too bad that drama doesn't get the same views as trash like Jaan Nisaar!

I really wanted to love "Gentleman" given the incredible talent involved-Humayun Saeed, Yumna Zaidi, Adnan Siddiqui, and even Atif Aslam singing the OST! With such a star-studded cast and the big premiere as Green Channel's flagship project, I expected so much more. Unfortunately, it felt like a letdown. The heavy dialogues didn’t resonate well, and it seems the show struggled to connect with the audience, as reflected in its views and ratings. It's disappointing, especially since they aimed to try something new. I also think Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar may not have been the best choice as a writer this time around; it’s hard to separate his controversial antics from his work. I'm curious to see how his next project, "Sun Mere Dil," turns out-it’ll really be a make or break for him!

Finally you guys came up with the review of Ghair and Iqtidar. For me it was much awaited. To be honest i am enjoying these two shows but i must say Iqtidar is going strong and Ghair is guilty pleasure and story is quiet predictable.
Not kidding but Gentleman's second half is heavily inspired by none other than Sahir Lodhi's disastrous film Raasta. 😂 hero fighting against the system, killing bad people apparently hero dies in a police encounter and last but not the least... despite getting killed in the previous scene, hero somehow comes back to life in the last scene 😂 The only difference is, there was no Mifrah in Raasta as Sahir Lodhi himself was everything in his movie

Had he surrendered like it was agreed with commissioner sahib then he would have had jail and not a death sentence. When Thelma and Louise saw Munna being arrested instead , they went straight to the commissioners office to find out why the arrest orders were issued.
They went because they did not find him in uncle's office as promised. If there is a season 2 they will shiw uncle changing mind after Mifra cried and took his orders back to shoot

Drama is not completely lame as it keeps you hooked and yeah the story is predictable.

This episode of ZPKB left me smiling and my heart fuzzy long after it ended. Love how the story takes different and unconventional turns and keeps you guessing each episode. Usually we see male characters climbing trees and walls fearlessly. In this case, we see the female lead doing it and the male lead expressing his emotions through tears. Genders roles have been reversed in simple, unassuming manner. That’s progressive storytelling. Also Meenu is headstrong and impulsive and Nofil is calm and gentle and the more mature of the two. They both know their limits and despite secretly meeting at night they wouldn’t do anything untoward. Meenu asked to touch his hair while initially she withdrew her hand. That was consent shown beautifully. Also, it’s rare that we see a woman complimenting a man’s hair. It’s usually the other way around☺️ Also the unconventional, pure and gentle relationship between Nasreen and Afzal is heartwarming. Both men are green flags👏 A great deal of thought has gone into the writing and making of the show and it shows.
Gentleman - I think they have added that ending just to give the cue for season 2 and get everyone excited about it and also leave audience with some questions so they can look forward to get answers later. This kind of ending is quite common in Hollywood series also like Stranger things, Mindhunter etc. Humayun Saeed is definitely trying to create this as an ongoing series how they do in Hollywood and on some Indian OTT platforms. I would say no one gets it right at first. Just give them some credit of taking this risk and creating such high quality production with limited budget. Storytelling, direction, production, technicalities everything takes time and tons of money especially with current economic situations. Just take sometime to appreciate and support your own people. I must say it’s a great start for the series and if we all support them very soon there will be new OTT platforms in Pakistan as well which can make great impact in growing your economy as well. It’s not just entertainment. These are some personal thoughts, having watched lots of Pakistani content and your reviews and meant no offence to anyone here.
ZPKB drama deserves all the awards next season. The writing, the direction, acting from leads to supporting cast - everything is just brilliant.

I am also enjoying iqditar. The story is not unique but I feel the lead’s chemistry and the constant takraar…and how their love story will start because now the girl has immense hatred for shahs..how shenewaz is actually as a person..will he change ..all these plot points are keeping the audience engaged. Also the ost is good.
ZPKB: If this drama was written by Khalil ur Rehman: Gentleman Nofil would kill Malik sahab after Afzal is murdered and Meenu would tell him kaam pura kar ky aana . 😅
I'm really enjoying iqtidar; it offers everything the audience needs to stay engaged. I enjoyed the police station scene, especially how Mehru broke down and grabbed Zain's collars. Anmol Baloch nailed it and Zain's expressions were good too... Anmol acted very well in the hospital scene, crying alone on the bench the next morning after the accident when Rafay came to the hospital.One thing that makes me curious is how the love story will begin after all of this, as there are some scenes of Mehru and Shah in the OST. Most likely, he will pretend to be in love with her and eventually fall for her for real, but will Mehru fall into his trap as readily, or will she also fake?
Hassan and Aaman...in ZPKB, they did focus on family planning topic when Parveen died while delivering babies. There Maulvi Sahaab did gave a monologue on family planning and population explosion.
So impressed with Hassan as he recollects the minute details of the story line of Ghair….Aamna was totally overwhelmed and confused 😊😊
Iqtidar is currently my favorite. Anmol baloch's character is so unique and charming ❤

ZPKB - Malik is no soft panda...The reason he has compressed the gals false report is because he is using this episode to catch Meenu & Nofil together... He knows that the gal will not win in the court and it is better that he uses this situation to his advantage...He has put man behind Nofil bcoz he knows that Meenu will not be able to stay without seeing Nofil even though the village has been directed to not send their females in the family to be near Nofil...and they will get caught red handed, which is what happens in the next episode...

I am looking forward to they both eventually fall for each other as currently they like their fiances. Hero's face expressions are a bit vague, I felt he can improvise in that. Herione is just giving her best performance as usual. Though its routine predictable story...its just good looking 🤩😍

ZPKB: Ever since watching the hair touching scene in the Ghazal video, I had been waiting patiently for that scene and BOY it did NOT disappoint. What an amazing chemistry. I am a 40+ woman and I felt like a giggly first time in love teenager while watching those scenes!! Amazingly written, shot AND performed. Too bad that drama doesn't get the same views as trash like Jaan Nisaar!

I really wanted to love "Gentleman" given the incredible talent involved-Humayun Saeed, Yumna Zaidi, Adnan Siddiqui, and even Atif Aslam singing the OST! With such a star-studded cast and the big premiere as Green Channel's flagship project, I expected so much more. Unfortunately, it felt like a letdown. The heavy dialogues didn’t resonate well, and it seems the show struggled to connect with the audience, as reflected in its views and ratings. It's disappointing, especially since they aimed to try something new. I also think Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar may not have been the best choice as a writer this time around; it’s hard to separate his controversial antics from his work. I'm curious to see how his next project, "Sun Mere Dil," turns out-it’ll really be a make or break for him!

Finally you guys came up with the review of Ghair and Iqtidar. For me it was much awaited. To be honest i am enjoying these two shows but i must say Iqtidar is going strong and Ghair is guilty pleasure and story is quiet predictable.
Not kidding but Gentleman's second half is heavily inspired by none other than Sahir Lodhi's disastrous film Raasta. 😂

I don't think Aamina has watched the last episode completely . The reason Thelma and Louise went to Commissioners office was to find out why was Munna arrested when he was surrendering. Had he surrendered like it was agreed with commissioner sahib then he would have had jail and not a death sentence. When Thelma and Louise saw Munna being arrested instead , they went straight to the commissioners office to find out why the arrest orders were issued.
They went because they did not find him in uncle's office as promised. If there is a season 2 they will shiw uncle changing mind after Mifra cried and took his orders back to shoot

I really enjoyed.. Matlab hasan ka zabardasti amna ko story sunana. Aise hi hota hai jab hum koi achchi cheez dekhe or dusron ko mazboor kare ki naee naee bada chcha hai tum bhi dekho tum bhi dekho.. And story sunane ke baad hasan ki deep breath. 😂😂😂 pet halka ho gaya.. Haye amna pl ab aap jaroor dekhna.. Hasan ne bahut mehnat ki hai
