Would you now also recommend the Ocelot for the Petral and Windmaster Triplex system I already have. Winds where I often camp near the coast and out in the desert are always a possibility.
Bob, the way that teh burner plate engages withthe triflex will prevent the HX pot from seating all the way down onto the pot support arms. The Petrel will sit on top of teh pot support arms and that will still be a benefit. Does that make sense?
I consider all canister topped stoves to be fairly equal in zero wind environments when you run them at 1/3 power or so. At that level, it will take 4-6 minute to boil 2 cups of water. At higher burn rates is when you will see a difference. In general, pressure regulated stoves will perform better as they limit the high end gas flow rate. Does that make sense?

Do you consider the Polaris more fuel efficient than the GreenPeak? I run my stoves at half power.

Yes it does Jon, very helpful thanks.
