Distal radius fractures, cast or operation

Distal radius fractures are very common, they can be easy to diagnose with clinical examination ( swelling, pain and deformation) and X-ray ( ap and lateral view).
Once the fracture is identified, we must determine the treatment, cast or operation?

I have comminuted intra articular fracture involving posterior anterior and medial cortex . There is no significant displacement of fracture fragment - I am on cast for 4 weeks. Do I need surgery . I am 32 yr old. Scared since it’s my dominant hand

Surgery depends on many factors, it can not be concluded over the internet. 😔
