Can you please keep an eye out for any information for us UK (International) viewers pleeeeasse. It looks like any international guest won’t be able to book advanced Lightning Lanes because that part of the app only works in the US and Canada 😟 I’ve tried testing a VPN with the current Genie+ service and the app sees through it 😕

How come no blogger has addressed the worry of people logging into their 7day window or even 3 day window and find all the tier 1 rides sold out for their part days or even the tier 2 rides. Just like dinning reservations, you go in at 6o days and the places you want are already booked. How will they handle sold out rides on people's booking window day?
It will be exactly like when fastpass was a thing: Suck it up, you can't pick Slinky dog dash!! I hated fastpass (but it was free, so it was acceptable). I'm really mad about the change, I'm trying to be positive until it is tested by vloggers... but it is hard.
Very valid concern. They probably haven’t said anything because they haven’t been able to test it yet. We’ll have to wait until July and see what happens. Back when we did Fast Pass, I didn’t usually have issues getting what I wanted. But, dining is another story. No matter how early I get up, I haven’t been able to get Space 220 ever! Hopefully, LL won’t be as bad as that. 🤞🏻
The old fastpass was that way, resort guests got a head start. The non-resort guests will be the ones not booking the big attractions. They can still stand in line, rope drop, or jump in line before park close time. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

People complained sooo much about Genie and Genie +. Now look fast pass is back but now it’s a paid service. Why would people assume this service would be brought back as a free service. I loved Genie + and I’m sad to see it go. But we’ll see how this multi pass works when the bloggers test it out in the parks.

Those waffles at Sleepy Halloween look amazing. My favorite thing there is the Mickey waffle with strawberries that was offered for breakfast before so I think I’ll love these!❤❤❤

The main thing I’m still confused about is how Multi-Park Genie+ will work. Currently you have to specifically buy the multi-park option, which is the cost of the most expensive park that day. But in the new version, Disney seems to imply that you simply pre-book (and pay) for your first park selections, and then if you have a valid park hopper ticket, you can simply make selections later in the day for rides in your second park. But if that’s the case, doesn’t that mean that your multi-park cost will now be dependent on where you start the day? So for example, if I wanted to go to MK and HS and use the new Genie+, it would be cheaper for me to start in HS and finish in MK than to start in MK and finish in HS?
Did Genie+ sell out for the day in Magic Kingdom by 7:01am? Am I hearing that right?

I'm not happy about the changes to genie plus. I don't want to plan everything before I even pack. There's no spontaneity anymore.
You want to wait and get up at 7:00am to buy Genie+ and make your selections…and you still may not get what you want AFTER you already paid? That’s better?

NOOOOOOOO!!! My chicken waffle sandwich ;-; I've hiked across the whole park and waited in super long lines just to get that. It just won't be the same without the coleslaw either! Now I'm bummed out.....
I have been soooo excited about our trip coming up in August. We are flying from the UK to spend 14 nights on WDW property. If we were US guests, we would have access to pre booking our lightning lanes 7 days ahead of our trip. But, as international guests we won’t be able to book anything until we are physically on US soil (the first day of our trip). This feels unbelievably unfair considering all the extra expense and efforts international guests have to make. I feel like the way Disney have treated us with the new LL system has left such a sour taste and I feel like it’s already tainted how I feel about our upcoming trip. I feel like Disney doesn’t care about us. This will be our last Disney trip - for me, the change to Genie+ has been the last straw that broke the camels back. I can’t keep defending Disney anymore. I’m done.
Let it work in your favor. Many of the best aspects of Disney are seen when you are not rushing from ride to ride, as one tends to do with a lot of pre-booked time slots. Instead take your time, look around at what's happening, and see the amazing "little" attractions that don't get as much attention. You can have a great time there.

Wow Disney is really cutting costs by cutting down the quality of food. I hope they bring back the hush puppies 😢 also I’m disappointed by the Tiana food. It just doesn’t look good. I hope Disney will eventually have a permanent place for Tiana’s restaurant. I’m excited to learn more about the Disney cruise that is launching. I still don’t really understand the concept.

Thanks for the warning about the Harbour House changes. I'm allergic to alcohol in all forms, including food cooked with alcohol, so my favorite place to get Fish & Chips is gone. Boo!

You can only hold 1 VQ at a time. So either VQ 1 then buy the other or if you use your VQ by the 1pm drop you could try for the other.

$170 to $220 for a few hours of after park closing festivities?!? Jesus! They will keep increasing prices if we keep paying. We did a halloween after hours back in like 2017 and it was like $70 each. So in seven years they have more than doubled and nearly TRIPLED the price! Let that sink in

Ive been wondering about lightning lane multi pass for non Disney resort guests. Is it 3 days before the start of your date range for your park days or 3 days before each park day like dining reservations?
I heard that you can book the multi pass for the entire length of trip three days before the start of your first park day.

Check the menu on the website, they just changed the waffles from the round waffles you can fold to Mickey Waffles, otherwise you can still get the same stuff on them

I’m actually going to miss genie+. We would go to AK in the morning and stack LLanes all day every 2 hours. By the time we park hopped to MK around 5 pm we had five LLanes Tier 1 stacked plus the individual lanes for tron and mine train. That was fun.
What do you suggest if that new multi pass lightening lane falls in the middle of your trip? Any tips there? 🙏Hopefully we will be able to book the multi pass in advance of the days it will be in place for part of our trip? We are staying on Disney resort.
We will be leaving on the 23. I sure hope the genie plus will not be sooo high. This plan seems like it will sell out quickly being to do it 7 days prior. I can’t wait to see what you guys figure out how to make this process easier for us. Thank you guys for all you do AJ and friends!

Don't understand what is the big issue with virtual queue filling up to Tiana, I tried to log into Tron and the second the queue was open it was already filled. I logged in at 1PM and the boarding group was already for 6PM. Virtual queues are obviously hotel guest perk, no way to get them without early registration.
Is this what I'm hearing: You pay thousands for a vacation, and certain rides REQUIRE a lightening lane in order to ride it, like Tiana, and your family likes to sleep in until 9:00 am because you are on vacation, but when you wake up, you find out you will not be able to ride Tiana because there are no lightening lanes left? I'm so confused. There are so many families that can barely afford the Disney World vacation and now, they have to pay more to ride the rides that used to be free to ride?
Yup that sounds about ride. But we're still paying so they won't stop what they are doing

no, you don't need to pay for a lightning lane to ride, only to bypass most of the line. There is still stand by. Only time you are out of luck is when there is a virtual line, used for new rides. Those are first reserve -first served
I don’t go until next august so hopefully the hype for Tiana will have dropped somewhat

Currently, you must be in the US or Canada in order to book rides. We're waiting to hear if Disney updates this

just bring your own straws! I dono why this is very hard for everyone to grasp, but I did! (i put it in my backpack) It's great, but you do have to NOT THROW IT OUT (like i almost did at the ren fair once) but yea, the reusable cutlery is also a thing. (i dono if you can travel with those yet because im new to those, and no it doesn't come with a straw) but yea..... I liked the melon one.....but it doesn't taste like "melon" to me.
I always have a spork, a reusable straw, and a collapsible cup in my park bag. They don't take up much space and are very handy

I love to bring my reusable cup to Starbucks (whenever i can remember it) I never saw a cup like that b4 but i have one with stickers i love to bring, It's between that and my hockey mug. (Cause they're both nice sizes. Ive been looking for Stanlys cups (pun intended?) for a while, but i think Owala is taking over the cup world now. I need one that's big enough, that has a handle, but goes in the dishwasher. (ugh anel ik) but that's me.

Leaving tomorrow for Beachclub for a 5 day stay, just me and hubby. I for one am glad that you wont have to wait till your traveling day to purchase. Like I would have to purchase Genie plus tomorrow for Tiana. When I would've like to atleast a week before traveling ( or when the ride opened).Fastpass was great but my favorite rides were allways taken. I wish the new genie plus came free wih us passholders. Any suggestions for trying to ride Tiana tomorrow, July 1. Is it Genie plus. ? Or virtual? What about lightening lane?

Hi, AJ and Team - it’s taken me all day to get through this video because of so much going on here, but i have to thank you for your excellent reporting. I am heartbroken, though! After years of looking at the scrumptious Sleepy Hollow nutella-and-fruit waffle, but unable to eat it because of severe GERD, I finally got the stomach surgery one month ago that will make it possible for me to have it. And now they’ve taken it away! Woe is me! I wonder if it’s possible to buy those waffles at home so i can make my own! Thank you for the 4th of July update. I would love to see the characters in their colonial uniforms - thank you for at least posting the photo! Love you guys -

I was in Magic Kingdom a couple of weeks ago and had what I guess was my last fruit and waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow. I’m going to miss my favorite MK breakfast. I wish they had called me before they made the change. ☹️
I have a few questions maybe someone can help me. I live in the Netherlands and we have an upcoming trip in september (out first one) I tried everything to look at where I can reserve a spot at savis workshop to make a lightsaber. But it just throws me out. I used a VPN and it almost worked. But I just don't get to the page to reserve it. Do I need to call in the day when it's 60 days in advance?
Question 2. We stay in a Disney hotel. We can almost make dining reservations. But how will they know that we do so we can book 60 days + 10 days in advance of out stay.
Or can only US guests do this?

Get rid of genie plus and bring back free fastpass with 3 passes. Bring back free transport from airport. Free parking at Disney properties. Lower prices 30%. Lower food prices 30%.

It was going through ride testing with Cast Members and Annual Passholders. It’s now finally open for the general public!

Canada is included in the pre-book window for the new LL Multi-pass. Anyone in Canada or the US can use the pre-book window, but anyone outside of those two countries must wait until they cross the international border before they can use that perk.

Let’s be honest, the new ride sucks. I don’t want to spoil it but instead of redoing the track it feels like the same song over and over without any story. It’s like It’s a Small world with a drop 🤦🏼♂️. Not to mention I lost count of how many times it stopped running when I was there a week ago
So Disney has an answer to a question that will guarantee Price Hikes & loss of more free options! When Tiana's attraction opened guests proved that they are willing to PAY for a spot when a free option was available. WOW!!!
