9:40 it's incredible how one of these can just fit right on your truck. The fact that they're soo lightweight makes it just that much more easier to drop on in.
I really enjoyed the modifications, These people have came up with some great ideas 💡 👍 The people were so cool and friendly. So , when's the next video ? This was so enjoyable. THANKS FOR SHARING 👍
The guy at 12:17, Ray Carpenter, was a good friend. He took his own life earlier this year. Seeing him on this video brought back some great memories. None of us ever knew how depressed he was because he always had fun. He enjoyed life all the way up to the moment he chose to end it. RIP Stingray!
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Thank you for sharing. I will be more mindful of the people I meet. They may be carrying a load and are at their max. No need to add to their burdens.
Only half way through the video I realized this was a great video. I am retired now and have decided I MUST have one of these jewels. Thanks for documenting the many wonderful things that can be done with them.
Thanks. I will be filming my Runaway Primer 2.0 in a little over a week at Runaway Acres in Summmerfield, Florida. The annual Homecoming Rally will be held on February 15-18 there and I will be filming the event again. I am also opening up a new TH-cam channel that will primarily have out trips with our Runaway videos. It is called "Moment By Moman". I have not uploaded anything there yet, but will soon. I also opened up a Moment by Moman Facebook page as well. We love our Runaway - fits our needs and nothing beyond that and that is what we want. Check around for used ones too.
Finally! a very comprehensive record of the genius of the average camper! I love this video!! This collection sells these campers way better than their own website, hands down!! And seeing what other did just unleashed a torrent of ideas of my ow and I only discovered this brand about an hour ago : ) Thanks to the videographer and huge thanks to the attendees to that event who so generously shared their wisdom with me and everyone else : )
Opposite corner of the country would depend on where you live! : ) The Runaway Homecoming Rally is held in Summerfield, Florida, near their office. Steve Shives, owner, built a small campground on company property. It is not a public campground - technically a club for Runaway owners only. It can be used by Runaway owners only for a max of three nights - call Runaway for costs.
I did not post our previously recorded videos about the mods Susie and I have made to our Runaway Navigator, plus a detailed showing of our camper. They are all located in this channel. enjoyed your video ---I have a larger fiberglass travel trailer but liked listening to the modifications, some that I can use, and hearing about the travels 8:26
I have the same name as the first man on this video and I'm doing Mods to my 87 Honey Class C. I've only had it 3 months but I'm having a blast. Good Luck Mark!
Noob question. Questions, did anyone add the electric brakes? Is it necessary? Not looking for and 4x4/offroad action, just normal driving. Thanks for the help/advice...

Next year at the Homecoming Rally I am going to make sure to get a LOT more folks to show their mods.

I have one on order. I just purchased a 2020 jeep Wrangler to pull it.
are they awkward to climb into since they are so small?
Go to another of my videos here and look at around 1:45. This should answer your question. th-cam.com/video/6GVq__aOk7c/w-d-xo.html

I love the bubbles.😁
I really want one of these. If I live long enough to retire…
Two questions: do the strip lights run off power and could the PVC rug holder thing been attached lengthwise?
This was filmed several years ago, so I do not have the answers for you. Sorry.
Very captivating video. Great ideas!
Great video and great ideas
I like the curtains the lady had. Anyone interested I bought the same fabric at Lens Mill store in Canada. Love the Runaway campers.
Really inspiring. Anyone out there know of Runaway Camper Rondevous?
I want one of these 😳 this would be a good start to get my husband traveling & I could drop the $ myself & then if he loves traveling we can buy a RV.
That first guy must have been separated at birth from Bob's Wells! Uncanny!
The only resemblance I see is the hair color. He looks quite a bit younger then Bob and neater. lol
Wow great video..and your voice reminds me of Dick Cavett!
That is funny!
To the guy from Buffalo, GO BILLS!
awesome ideas
1028 is somebody’s sleeping in the camper while he’s doing the interview
No.
wouldn't you rather buy a r-pod for $20g's?......NOT!!!
👍
