I live in South Austin 👋. Welcome to the city and be prepared for a grueling 100+ degree summer! I would rather that than the darn 10 degrees we had in February lol

@@girlvamonos I’m a Texas native and was born and raised in S.E. Texas...about 4 hrs drive east on I-10 to Orange my hometown. It is very humid and muggy there lol. Sitting on the gulf coast so I am kinda used to this weather. I was in the Navy out of Jacksonville, Fl for 8 years and it was Atlantic Ocean breezes but still humid and hurricanes just like I grew up with. My ex husband got relocated to San Diego December 2009 so it was a 2 day drive from FL to cali lol. I lived in San Diego 6 years and don’t regret my time I lived in SoCal. But the last year I was there wore on me and I was ready to go. Cali has changed more since I left and there is no place like home in Texas 🙏💕

Try raw honey from your area, supposed to help with allergies.

The bees make the honey from local pollen, so you immune system identifies that it's not harmful. It's nature's vaccination.

This girl really needs to travel outside of Austin. 39 Likes in a year? Maybe Texas isn't the problem.

@@girlvamonos for grocery stores selling alcohol on Sundays, yes. The registers will not ring up any for you prior to 12 pm on Sundays. So when it is football season and the Cowboys are gonna be playing and you want some beer from HEB, your dude can’t get it until noon 😂.

Welcome to Texas just dont vote for Demorats . I'm from Cal. also Vallejo . We have more freedom here, especially in the rural areas. Because of our Republican politicians.

I'm kind of surprised *bugs* and the size of them didn't make the list. I guess it's too soon yet. Squirrels? are you sure? in some parts those are rats dressed up like squirrels. LOL. There are dirtier parts but Austin, San Antonio are pretty clean. The neon green oak pollen? Yeah Texas is pretty diverse. The campaign "Don't mess with Texas" was about trying to keep people from littering, not about trying to start fights over which state is better. But I guess this campaign has worked in more ways than one. Y'all come back now. Proper etiquette keeps you from standing out. LOL.

Okay, so I filmed this early spring… but the bugs are now public enemy no. 1!! 😂😂 I had no idea the variety of bugs and toads I would see every night.. so much for summer night walks and barbecues, as soon as dusk hits I’m going inside!! 😂😅🙈 Haha yes, I noticed, the guys that are rough around the edges, warm up to you after they see you are not so bad 😝👍🏽

@@girlvamonos This is a particularly wet spring so there's gonna be more bugs than usual. But even when it's dry there's still plenty. LOL. warming up: helps if you're cute. Look how Buc-ees made it. LOL.
