Finding a niche is really easy these days, I like this chaotic environment as long as the sets have a few months to breath which they do. Also I think Wizards should have a decent understanding of the effects and multipliers you are talking about by now, they are clearly trying to tweak things with the contrast in scale between BRO/MOM serials and MKM/MH3 serials, from ~30,000 to less than 2,000. However, they clearly don't want to use that unique-art option that often for whatever reason, it's not that they can't pay artists they must just have some reason. But it clearly helps I think they should have done that for the MKM serials, being super rare doesn't matter if the card is new/low power level, but a unique art series is always going to have inherent collectability. Case in point, the Flip Praetors aren't really that strong cards but it doesn't matter because the art is so collectible.
what's up with the print run of the holiday release set of LOTR? I'm targeting some of those cards as well, here in Europe, some versions have less than 30 copies for sale (on CM).
Wish we here in the US knew too. One ring foil is around 300 non foil poster is around 180. Mount doom I think is the next expensive with foil 80-100. Most of them are fairly cheap

Jurassic park set was amazing
One sub set, that didn't go as they planned. Is double feature, it's short print run is going to make the blacked out holos $$$$$$ in yrs to come!
The downside is that the quality on those foils is junk compared to the non foil blacked out cards.

I still think trying to finish alternative 4th edition is a very complex idea to finish. I won't ever finish...dumb idea 😮 but I do love Chris Farley!
