OMG THESE ARE CRAZY DETAILS! Man, old games just hit so hard, their look, artstyle, emvironmetal details sounds and music, classic doom games, half life and many goldsrc games. Even tho valve is a company that no matter they make an old or new modern game they try not to miss the details and try adding even more.
I feel sad for u, u are the PPL who might havent even played older games and especially never heard of cs source, anyway it is true since valve wants to make csgo like competitive hence the less details anyway csgo is equally amazing as other franchise games at the time
@@beataoo i play cs source every day ;) along with all valve games. Day of defeat, day of defeat source, CS condition zero, deathmatch classic and even half life source(so fcking bad but i love it) every single doom game, every single team fortress game, all left 4 dead games and csgo. Csgo for me is right now unplayable, many workshop maps became unplayable because of an update, the amount of mouse options are decreased and i had many more problems with it that i cant remember. Half of my childhood was csgo and the other half is tf2. But i had to stop playing csgo. I was addicted and the game was getting unnecessarily too much updates that did nothing. You better be sad for ones that play valorant, fortnite and other sh*t, not for me.

@@TSFCParodies nah 747 is horrible, it's incredibly T sided due to the fact that you have to go all the way down the stairs or jump to the plane's nose and lose health

@LæK64. nah. A lot of stuff you see in the video would've been impossible to encounter in CS:GO. Partly because it relies on stuff that's not in CS:GO (For example, shutting lights off is pointless in CS:GO because there is no nightvision goggles in CS:GO), and partly because it does not fit in with CS:GO's focus on competitiveness and cybersport (stuff like free AK you can get from the momb plant and various fun experimental stuff like cameras.).

de_survivor was my favorite.I always find it interesting and stressful because some places with ice won't break but I always forget which ones.
Sometimes you hit the enemies and watch them drown.
When you showed "de_survivor" i got a tear in my eye. I played this map So mutch as a kid, even more than dust 2 i think. I loved the the ice water and the bridge's fragileness as a detail. But i loved it mostly bcuz this map was unlike any other. It was So cool, Thank you! 🔥😁

Так не двигайся и жми е , так как ты двигаешься, ты отходишь от той камеры и при нажатии е ничего не происходит, или если ты о крайней справа сместился влево, то при нажатии Е ты будешь смотреть другую камеру - все познается научным "методом тыка"

@@quadroninja2708 ну почему, немало контента выходило для обычных игроков. Напарники, опасная зона на пике игр с королевской битвы, нередко выходят комьюнити карты, которые не используются на про уровне. Так что контента и не для про-игроков достаточно

What I like the most is that the vast majority of the entities, triggers and functions Half-Life has, they all carried over to CS1.6 and surprisingly improved the quality of the gameplay of the game.
cs_estate is by far my favorite counter-strike map ever, i still remember i played with bots as a T and camp on the second floor hostage with a M249 everyday as a kid, good old memories to start my fps journey :D

This game has way more physical details than games nowadays
When I was a kid, I got a copy of Counter Strike 1.5 that me and my dad bought from some bootleg PC game store. I had a blast playing through all the maps and finding all the secrets, I'm proud I was able to find most of the secrets here aside from the ones in Storm and Torn, I never really played those maps, it's really cool seeing all of these map interactables back when CS was more mod orientated and focuses on user made maps it was hella fun, never got to experience actually buying the legit version of the game since I was still a kid and I barely knew anything about technology let alone playing with other people.
The ice bridges in De_Survivor probably gave me childhood traumas a child, just because of how scary the icon of the guy with a facemask in the lower left side of the HUD can be, especially with the fact that the sound when you're taking damage in ice cold water was so loud enough.

all hostage maps r a flop in csgo, ive been playing for 9 yrs and think ive only saved 3 hostages ever in csgo lol

It did return briefly in CSGO during the Operation Vanguard back in 2014. Even though, it wasn't played that match in MM but it was still fun to see it.

Пока не стали делать моды с лвл системой, говно модификациями и проч херней, к слову - я после 2012 пересел на Left 4 Dead 2 где ознакомился с данным каналом позже, а потом на ксго стал играть в 2015. I used to play on survivor a lot. Totally forgot about everything about it until I saw the river. Unlocked my hidden memories about the frozen river being traps and the snow bridge, kinda cool. My favorite map is still vip_oilrig from the insane mix of the very large, unique map (a VERY deep pool and the elevator being a massive death trap??? c'mon...) also the VIP having like 300 hp or something

MAAAAN! This vid brings a lot of nostalgia to me. Survivor, 747, and oilrig in particular were special to me as those maps feel eerie (though most goldsrc maps are lol). What I did was spawn bots with knife only and turn it into a "zombie survival campaign" which I really enjoyed but also scared me a lot lol.
Mate, you're so right! 'Eerie' is the exact way I can describe those maps! Especially when I was connecting servers too early and there were only 3-4 players on the map. Also my heart warms with de_torn, de_piranesi, de_prodigy memories with a lot of hidden bombplants and camper sites. Level design and sound effects are way to underrated in 1.6, hope those mappers had some kind of future career in game design!

There's actually a underrated game named "Global operations" made by former cs1.6 devs. I highly recommend cs players to play it to enjoy some counter strike style story mode game
