    emulating the feel of the original is what I think TT are trying to do, but dang I wish they didn't do that with the weight

    With the existence of Metal Needle, if more Metal Bits are released later down the line in Beyblade X's lineup, perhaps they'll allow Driger S and Dranzer S - and by extension other lightweight Blades like LeonClaw - to perform slighty better with an added increase in weight.

    Agree 100%
    If I want a driger-s for collection purposes, I'll just get the original.
    If I buy the x remake, I expect it to perform at least on par with other stock combos.

    When the MFB beys drop on they're on 80 or 90 ratchets too it's going to be so cursed.

    • @aquilaxtremeGT
      @aquilaxtremeGT 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      They need to put low ratchets on mfb beys because they are the shortest beys of every gen!

      gotta wait until they release the 50 ratchets

    TT could exaggerate the angles and increase the thickness of the blade that represents the weight disk, and equalize the weight distribution on both sides. That would solve the issues with weak hits, light weight, and odd, hoppy, wobbly movement that the current Bakuten Shoot X remakes have.

    seeing driger spin next to x beys made me miss the almost racecar like aesthetic of plastic gen. the beys look sporty. the stickers are obviously a huge part of that

    I'm curious if we'll either get Dragoon or an original left spin X blade first.

    The weight is definitely very light. They need to going forward increase the weight to at least in my opinion 32 grams. Anything else is not good at all. I hope they do better in future releases.

    It would be cool if the remakes were heavier, but i think it would be even cooler if we have a "retro" format, only having old gen layers, so they match each other, and maybe add some low tier blades like leon claw. I also have seen some people make dranzer work, so it may work with drigger too.

    • @nizumablader

    In my experience, lightweight doesn't always mean bad. And trust me, I've made lighter combos for Metal Fight beys that are actually weak. So it's true that you don't want your combos to be too light. However, you also don't want your combos to be too heavy either. One of my gripes with Zero G / Shogun Steel was that when using two warrior wheels, the combos would be so heavy that the spin life wears down faster. I've had Synchrome bey combos lose so easily to both Hybrid Wheel and 4D System beys because of that. Also, I've done spin life test of my strongest 4D combo and one of my best Synchrome combos (though uniquely arranged), and the lighter of the two (the 4D one) lasted for over 4 minutes approximately. While the other, only about like 1 and a half to 2 minutes.
    Also, I've been using my Driger S X remake with Disc Ball lately. And I hurt my right thumb trying to grab the bey. That bey may be light, but it is a very strong hitter! Especially using the winder launchers with the ripcord. I think the gen 1 remakes for X were designed to be at their best when using ripcord launchers since that was what was used the most in the gen that they originated from. And I think they perform better when put up against other gen 1 remakes. This was true with the old remakes that Burst did too. Except, I'm glad these new ones don't burst as easy. I was disappointed when literally all the Dragoons and Dranzers from Burst would burst way too easily. Dragoon especially. So that's at least one upside to these new remakes that they don't seem to be so quick to burst anymore. And you can actually win with them if you using them with the right combo of parts.
    So don't worry about Driger. Okay? Driger doing just fine!😉

      I really didn't know that some heavy beys have less stamina. I thought that the weight was good for staying in the arena and not lose too much spin when hit by another heavy bey.

    • @PJCVita92
      @PJCVita92 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pedroking2262 Weight is good for stamina. But too much weight can be bad. Think it as like food such as apples. Some or plenty is good. But you don't want to have too much. Hope this helps you understand what I mean better.

    Heard this during Burst era but one of the master bladers (or an ADK rep, can’t remember which) once said privately at an event that the philosophy behind the remakes, outside of it just being for old heads and collectors, is that it’s a great choice for dads and moms who need to play against their children.
    Obviously the stronger, adult parent would win consistently against a child, if two current beys matched up.
    Burn and StormPega being somewhat viable during Burst certainly was an anomaly. An anomaly I hope happens again, but they will always underspec remake beys. It’s purely a business decision and I’m completely okay with that.

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I meannnn the driver v2 remake was good. The driger s layer was also decent. Wolborg had some use. There were ways to work around it. Biggest let downs were the dragoons tbh. I just hope everything isn’t like this. The parent thing makes sense though.

    It would be sick if they decided to make a bunch of these so we could have a format for retro beys. Would probably get some old schoolers back in the game.

    As bad as I think the weight issue is the remakes can still work just remember how bad they were in burst at least the x remakes don’t die in 10 seconds

    I'm glad you brought up the debate of how people excuse their weight as "they want us to use the new stuff" when they're this bad against the current meta, it's almost insulting. Like saying the old stuff is weak! The way I see it, since plastic gen is all about big hits with a ton of recoil. That could be their gimmick so to speak so I say make the contact points protrude more and as a result making them heavier. They could definitely do this with dragoon and later releases if they plan to do F series like you said and vforce and onwards

    I think its cool but it does suck that tt makes the remakes suck, the burst ones were able to survive somewhat cause of classic but i doubt these beys would survibe in an x classic format 😢👍🔥

  • @ultralion5251
    @ultralion5251 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Yeah 100% agree with the weight, it can go toe to toe with most stock combos and have had a 50-55% wr against scythe ball in testing but basically you need to do 5-60 point and you have to hard tilt launch. It has alot of counter attack potential cause of the speed you can get off the extreme line and good ratchet busting hits too if you angle cause of the upper atttack. But yeah like you said the weight hurts it alot and it pretty much requires a hard launch or else it just gets outspun consistently

    This is the problem I had with the burst remakes theyre just not viable. I never got into burst by my nieces watched the anime and were into it so I ended up buying some of the hasbro burst remakes and when I used them against them just constantly lost. Maybe TT would be better off doing X Versions of them without making them 1 to 1 remakes of old gen

    sad that the misinformation about 4-sided ratchets are being spread. How can you say that when Japanese and Asia players win tourneys with 4-sided ratchets? There are many combos that need 4-60 or 4-80. Heck, our local state tourneys see between 10 to 20 players and we get winners with 4 ratchets all the time. I challenge your claim and will battle you live if possible. I will use only combos with 4-60 and 4-80. Come on bro!

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader  หลายเดือนก่อน

      4-60 is used on scythe on ball most western players aren’t willing to risk the potential burst for marginally better stamina
