Kristin you could not have done better in this interview! The way you let Jason and his wife have their time while being an active listener and holding space for a heavy topic was really special. I really love getting to see everyone’s vulnerable, adult, REAL lives. I am so sick of the “perfect” image celebrities and influencers portray. I love to see the struggle, not because I like to see people down but because I love REAL. Great episode!!

      BRAVO!!! you can do it.
I have watch many vds on people healing their addictions on the Carnivore diet. The carnivore diet is a very healing diet that switches the body's fuel sourse from glucose (sugar) to ketones (which the body makes). Ch No carb life, Home stead how, Dr Ken Berry (vds carnviore for beginners)
know that the likely cause of your OCD, anxiety, depression can be caused by parasites, mold exposure, candida, bad virus/bacteria including PANDAS (lok this up its strep that causes OCD!) , heavy metal exposure (which everyone has these days) etc
Parasite detoxs should be done twice a year with natural herbs fround at the health food store (ch dr group, dr axe, dr berg, dr ken berry, candida eric bakker naturopath)
do heavy metal detox (ch dr mindy pelz vds)
before you ever try Rx drugs for anxiety & Depression do a parasite cleanse, heavy metal detox, change your diet to a healthy diet like keto diet and/or carnivore diet (which heals the gut, body & brain)
Library will have books on keto, carnviore, fasting, parasite cleanses, heavy metal detox, candida, vitamin/mineral deficiency (also see ch Dr Berg for this).
worth your time evey if you are not sick this is how you stay healthy by eating a good clean diet & detoxing your body of parasites & heavy metals etc.

I actually wanted to thank you Kristin, for having the brain doctor on a while ago. That podcast lead me to seek out his information more and it changed my life. I have zero desire to drink anymore because of how toxic it is to my brain. I had been wanting to quit and that podcast episode was the push I needed. I want to be there for my kids when I’m older and it was truly affecting my stress/anxiety even when I wasn’t drinking during the week. I feel amazing. It’s been about 2 months. So thankful you had him on!

This hits very close to home. My brother has struggled with alcohol addiction for almost 15 years. It’s the hardest emotional roller coaster my family has been on. We celebrate his sobriety by days (weeks if we’re lucky). I know first hand how the family tries to rally around someone with addiction, and also how the family ties start to break - as we all try to protect our own mental health and our little family within the bigger family.
Thank you, Jason and his wife for opening up about such an important topic

Ashley was annoying *A F* in the Hills reboot. Glad Jason was able to turn his life around, and that he had someone in his corner during such difficult times. The 💩 story was grosssssss! 😂

She took him out of detox for the pregnancy and then he overdosed again. Hmmm. He’s not performing the delivery of the baby. Of course it would be great if he’s at the birth but he’s in detox and he’s not the one delivering the baby

that's all great..but there is no help out there! Unless you have $$ there is nothing. Getting a person into an actual long term re-hab is not realistic. You say there is alot out there, but realty is , there is not.

Okay, last episode you bashed the “ kardouchians” but then this episode there’s a paid partnership with skims, which isn’t that Kim Kardashian‘s company? Lol

Why keep supporting Skims and the Kardashians when you trash them? And then talk about narcissistic behavior that everyone else but you has 😅

Next time give the mic stand to the main guest and the secondary guest gets the handhold. It was hard to hear Jason a lot of the interview. Also, Ashley making Jason’s addiction about her was ick. She didn’t even know what color she liked? Boohoo. Then she pulls him out of DETOX because she is in labor?? Detox?!Oh because it was a man? No because he was an addict needing to detox and you pulled him out to have the baby. So he relapsed again. Shame on her. Jesus. Aside from that, Jason is one of my favorite success stories. I could not stand him in during Laguna Beach and on The Hills. Could. Not. Stand. all because of his behavior. To see how he worked with Dr. Drew and how he finally worked and worked to come out of his dark hole of addiction changed it all and I truly respect the man he is TODAY

Why are you focusing on things they OBVIOUSLY regret. Everything is clear in hindsight. Part of sharing their story is to be honest about things they wish they would have done differently so others can HOPEFULLY learn from their experiences. But yea girl go off lol.
