As an American, I’m already mapping out three ~2 week trips to Europe throughout the longer term. Very, VERY preliminary; likely several years away kinda stuff. One is touching down in Italy, taking the train to the most mainstream tourist attractions throughout Italy & France within no more than a few days and then taking a car out of Eastern France all over the Alps to east Central Europe (potentially including a couple nights along the Eastern Adriatic), and wrappings up in Northern Germany & the Netherlands (part of Denmark an adequate maybe). Or vice versa. Another has me touching down in Spain and then working my way up through France, maybe Luxembourg, Belgium and then the UK (might use trains/transit first thing out of France for time/money purposes especially anywhere near London). Ireland is an adequate maybe contingent on time/money… And the third is basically Scandinavia based; potentially starting either in Germany or the Netherlands with potential for more thorough exploration of Germany & Switzerland starting out or wrapping up the trip… Thoughts from Europeans? I already trust that Western Europe, Switzerland & Scandinavia in general will be VERY prohibitively expensive to pull off compared to most places internationally…

Another beautiful video from my home country! Just wondering, how far north did you go when you was in Norway? Have you ever been in Northern Norway? At least in my opinion the northern part of the Norway is the most beutiful! :)
Trondheim-Tromsø is another 1200 km / 750 miles to the north ++ into the Lofoten islands, so maybe fly AMS-TRD and rent a car, then fly back? But then there is only 600 km more to North Cape... And another 600 km to the russian border. And then only one country to cross before you can visit your US followers....

Hmm I think I will consider taking a detour this way on the summer's road trip, the day I need to get from Molde to Sogndal.

Pretty warm for Norwegian coastal standards, 20 °C. The average high in nearby Volda is only 13°C in June.

bredevard Trondheim was the farthest north I've been in Norway (E14 to Åre).
Go North (at least to Bodø) next time and you will be flabbergasted :)
