Alan is one of the main reasons I became a singer/songwriter and moved to Nashville. One of my many goals in life is to open for him, or just meet him in general, thank him for all the inspiration he's given me.
That is exactly why I moved to Nashville in 2000. I became a security officer at that Grand Ole Opry and I met him and a whole bunch of other artist as well as actors, politicians, ect. I opened up for him once or twice and it was awesome. He is the only artist that I was a little nervous and star struck meeting. Very tall man. Chase your dreams and dont' let go

I’ve read his wife’s book, I’ve followed him for years. His daughter that lost her husband weeks after marriage. It all breaks my heart!!! He is such a good man. His wife is the beat woman a man. Could ever ask for!
I agree...loved her book and their beautiful family....he always looks so proud when he has his beautiful wife and daughters with him...they don’t come along like him very often... he’s so sweet about his kids. That makes him even better.

I've been an Alan Jackson fan for many years, (I'm 73). But over the last 10 years or so, he just hasn't been that visible. Kudos you, Bobby, for having him on your show for an interview, and introducing him to a younger audience. To me, he is just as big as Garth or Reba! I'm thrilled!

I saw you in Indiana 20 yrs. ago & to this day it's been my best concert ever. And I know that you will always keep country alive, it really needs you now. I'm from KY. & I along with 1/2 the world miss the real country music I grew up hearing & singing while my dad played guitar. If he hadn't left I might have made it to Nashville, & even been friends of yours & ur family. So I'll end by saying the words to one of the most humble man I know of. The first time I heard where I come from I loved it. The lyrics were silly but it's good to have a happy song sometimes and the music was great.

it's great that Alan gives his wife credit. she deserves a lot of credit. I'm a singer/songwriter and I know from life's experiences that we can't/don't do it alone.
