The Scarface 40th Anniversary SteelBook captures the movie well, with his blood red collar and little friend against a backdrop of palms. There is also The Film Vault release I'm surprised if you don't have...
There is a uk Arrow Video release of The Thing which came out a couple of years. Unfortunately it's out of print though. Great list though if any of those other movies got released then I buy them day 1.
I love these big box collector's editions, but damn they are WAY TOO expensive. Paying $50 initially and $80 later on eBay for 1 single movie is worth like maybe for like 4 or 5 movies in my entire collection.
I'd love to have The *_Expendables_* 1-3 on 4K with the Extended Director's Cuts of 1 and 3 in 4K. All the *_Rambo_* films, with the Extended Cuts, for those that have them, in 4K.
We need a big chunky box set of: Teenage mutant ninja turtles 91, The fighter, fight club, Con Air, Kill Bill 1 and 2, From Dusk till dawn, Four Brothers, Brave Heart, Gladiator, white men can't jump, Lincoln, Sleepers, interview with a vampire, Seven, Cliffhanger
Given that FilmArena once had the rights to release their own Predator chunky boxset, then lost the rights to include the discs, and ended up releasing their boxsets without the discs, I highly doubt Arrow will do any better dealing with Disney.
EDIT: Sorry I wrote this before finishing the video and didn't hear the existing 4K stipulation I think Second Sight isn't too far behind Arrow, especially with their quality packaging and amazing transfers. My current Arrow 4K wishlist: 1) Creepshow 2 2) Audition 3) Pulse (Kairo) 4) The Beyond (to complete Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy) 5) Re-Animator 6) House (80s horror) box-set 7) Phantasm box-set 8) A Tale of Two Sisters 9) Don't Go in the House 10) Argento's Inferno and Four Flies on Grey Velvet Many of which Arrow have the rights to and have done blu rays of. So that makes it quite likely a number of them will get Arrow 4K upgrades. Btw I'm in the UK and couldn't be happier that Arrow is doing Silence of the Lambs, my favourite movie of all time. I also own the imported Kino Lorber. I'll take Arrow upgrades of literally anything, love them!
I know we still need it on 4k first, but God we need an Arrow Chunky boxset for Fight Club! So many people would line up all day for that! Great list recommendation brother! And f*ck yeah…The Matrix ALL DAY LONG!!!! 👍🏼
Yess Conan Big Box set treatment for Matrix & T1 / T2 Big box, and we need Robocop 2 & 3 to match 1. We also do need Hook to go right next to Robin Hood. We also need Gladiator 1 & 2 once the 2nd releases. Blade Trinity boxset. Hellboy 1 & 2 only. Signs, The Village, & Sixth Sense when they come to 4K. Shining & Doctor Sleep in a double boxset.
Predator, that's a good shout as the 4K slip is a bit lacklustre to say the least, and there is a SteelBook, but it's not all that either. Even if it had a similar rainbow reflective slip like Alien would be nice, ideally with some blazing jungle and the predator's blades shining over Dutch covered in mud...
I enjoyed the chunky 4k boxset of Robocop, and their 4k work on Pitch Black, The Last Starfighter, as well as Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and Flash Gordon. I agree a lot of the films you mentioned would be great to see what Arrow could give us.
Taxi Driver (maybe with their own steelbook), Jaws 4-film box-set, American Graffiti, One from the Heart: Reprise, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Pulp Fiction, I'm agreeing on Terminator 1+2, The Truman Show, agreeing on The Matrix too with Animatrix on 4k as well! And also RAN by Akira Kurosawa! Preferable in a box-set with a steelbook!
I would want Gone in 60 Seconds 1974 the original get a big Arrow 4K UHD Blu ray with the airport scene where the main character spots the car restored for first time that would be amazing
What i need is Poltergeist 1-3, and the new one in a BIG boxset. And all should have a Dolby Atmos track . I know, the remake are crap, but i like it. I'm a big Sam Raimi fan. PS. all evil dead movies should be a in a real heavy box-set
I love the idea of The Thing on Arrow. They can add the original 1951 and remaster that as an extra bonus feature. Also, The Dollars trilogy would be a awesome Arrow box set.
The announcement of the WB T1 Steelbook came out from the UK, with preorders from Zavvi and Rarewaves (as with Nightmare on Elm Street), so I very much doubt that this would mean an Arrow release.
I like Arrow, but out of all of those you showed, I'd only want a new T2 box set. All the other ones I'm fine with the 4ks that are out. I'd love if Arrow did a 4k box set for Terminator 3. That movie needs 4k love.
I've given this a lot of thought and I really would like a chunky Point Break set. I am glad the 4k exists, but I really don't think that Shout Factory made enough fuss over this film. It's a proper piece of classic cinema that always gets treated like fluff. Get on top of it Arrow.
So many Films get lost because they milking us ...What? Double Dip?😢. They still need to do 4ks of: - Demolitian Man, (Wesley & Stallone) - New Jack City (Wesley Snipes) - Judge Dredd (Stallone) - Dead Man (JohnnyDepp), - Phantom (1996) - Dusk Till Dawn 1 and 2, - Wild Bunch - Butchcasidy Sundance kid - Outlaw Josie Wales - Deliverance - Crossroads - Amazing Guitar Duel battle Blues vs Rock with Steve Via. - Cocoon 1, 2 - Blue Lagoon (1980 Brook Shields) - Strip Tease - (Burt Renolds, Debi Moore ) - Immortal Love 1994 - (Life Death of Beethoven) - The Beach - Major Dundee - uncut extended full version. - Dracula (1931)
@stonesfan285 must be in the too hard basketcase for any studio .....yet any day now "Billy the Kid" on 4k BOX set is arriving on pre order....the one with Bob Dylan. Figure that🙄 out. I haven't heard anyone on TH-cam talk about this pre order release?
I'm right there with you on Clockwork Orange, The Thing, and Hook. Definitely would want a big box set collection for Terminator or Predator. The studio collection I have for Predator is okay, but I want to check those movies out on 4K! What I've really wanted for years is a premium collection of Romero's Living Dead films to on 4K. I don't really need Dairy or Survival, but I wouldn't be mad if they were included either.
A VSU of Hook would fit right in. I know you love it but I don't think it is more universally loved than say half the VSU line. They won't do it since it does have a 4K. They concentrate on stuff that doesn't, sometimes never having a disc release.

Some other titles I would hope to see them do would be The Beach, 25th Hour, and Cruel Intentions. I figured they would have already dropped The Re-Animator as well. Of course none of these have gotten the 4k treatment from anyone yet, but these are my picks.
american graffiti, T2, star wars original theatrical release, forrest gump, pirates of the Caribbean, aliens, king kong, Bourne franchise, true lies, heat
The Fall (2006) by Tarsem. Visually the most beautiful film ever made. Shot on 35mm, in 28 countries within 4 years. I don’t know why this film hasn’t gotten the love it deserves, but it really is in my opinion one of the top 10 films ever made.
Good choices! Like you said, Carlito's Way had a standard 4k first, and Arrow did a boxset, so why not Scarface? I could see it! Back when Arrow was just releasing UK only titles! They released Zombie under it's original title, Zombie Flesh Eaters, when they did their window boxset collections and an awesome looking steelbook! They've been out of print for a while! They're still selling the standard edition, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities they'll release a 4k boxset soon? They also did Dawn of the Dead, but as we all know, Second Sight got the rights and released their awesome boxset! That could work, too! Speaking of Second Sight, a few years back, I picked up The Return of the Living Dead Steelbook! That looks to be out of print, too? Hopefully, they still have the UK rights for that, cause in my opinion you can't lose either way Arrow or Second Sight boxsets both rule!!!
Lol! Lots of wishful thinking in this video Ken! But I definitely agree with all of these choices. Arrow actually did in fact release a chunky box Blu-ray edition of The Thing for the UK. So I don’t think a 4K release from them is out of the realm of possibility. Just like with Carrie and Crimson Peak, those were previous chunky Blu-ray releases. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
couldnt agree more! great recommendations as always! imagine an Arrow vidro proper 4k film restoration with dolby vision of terminator 2 with film grain and no goofy AI added?!! also the thing and predator truly deserve a dolby ATMOS track. with a newer dolby vision colour grading (HDR10 COMPATIBLE) ugh I think id literally explode if this ever happened

Monty Python And The Holy Grail! 4k box set for that would be nice. (I know it doesn’t have a 4k yet, but that didn’t stop another person from suggesting Master And Commander)
Ken, I think that Arrow will release The Beyond before they will release Zombie, mainly because The Beyond is part of Fulci's Gateway To Hell Trilogy which included City Of The Living Dead and House By The Cemetery..
The Silence of the Lambs 4K release by Kino had issues with color timing and audio issues and Criterion released it only on blu ray so far, although with a wealth of special features. So getting the Arrow 4K release with the corrected color timing, corrected audio, hopefully most of the criterion special features (if not all) and better encoding as well, really is a valid reason to upgrade and should be the definitive way of watching the movie. You really have no reason to go back to the Kino release and the Criterion release depends on what's imported from the special features to the Arrow 4K. If their not all imported to the Arrow 4K, I'd keep that Criterion blu ray.
If Ken ever changes the name of the channel, it should be changed to Nice Chunky Box
#ThatsWhatHeSaid
I agree it is ingenious because it exemplifies Physical Media perfectly.
That, or we need everything on 4k with a nice slip cover
lolol, dont think it will happen.
Or... The Get Your Juices Flowin' podcast
Ken your tombstone will be inscribed with the words, "Here lies Ken, in a chunky box set."
We need a 4k for The Butterfly Effect directors cut. It would be perfect for Arrow!
The Scarface 40th Anniversary SteelBook captures the movie well, with his blood red collar and little friend against a backdrop of palms. There is also The Film Vault release I'm surprised if you don't have...
Not one that’s on 4k yet, but I would love to see The Boondock Saints get a 4k box set from Arrow. Also….Romancing the Stone!
another positive for UK releases is its a lot cheaper for many other countries to import from the UK over importing from the States
Commando with Arnold S.! That one and Eraser doesn't even have a 4K yet. T2 definately, Ken.
I want 3 chunky box sets for the Dollars Trilogy
Forbidden Planet 4K in a big chunky box adorned with that gorgeous 1950s poster art.
There is a uk Arrow Video release of The Thing which came out a couple of years. Unfortunately it's out of print though. Great list though if any of those other movies got released then I buy them day 1.
I would like to see Fulci's The Beyond to complete the Gates of Hell trilogy.
Grindhouse Releasing announced The Beyond 4K early last year but still nothing!🤔
I just picked up First Blood and First Blood part II 4K’s. Those could definitely use an upgrade and I’d love to see Arrow chunky box sets for.
Would love the deluxe box treatment for Watchmen that includes all the cuts of the film in 4K as well as a new transfer.
I love these big box collector's editions, but damn they are WAY TOO expensive. Paying $50 initially and $80 later on eBay for 1 single movie is worth like maybe for like 4 or 5 movies in my entire collection.
I did get a massive Clockwork Orange 4k limited box set out of zavvi. Loaded with merch. love it.
The only way I'd be interested is if the *_Terminator 2_* Special Edition would be in 4K, too.
I'd love to have The *_Expendables_* 1-3 on 4K with the Extended Director's Cuts of 1 and 3 in 4K. All the *_Rambo_* films, with the Extended Cuts, for those that have them, in 4K.

TMNT 91 would be fucking sick

4) The Beyond (to complete Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy)
5) Re-Animator
6) House (80s horror) box-set
7) Phantasm box-set
8) A Tale of Two Sisters
9) Don't Go in the House
10) Argento's Inferno and Four Flies on Grey Velvet
Many of which Arrow have the rights to and have done blu rays of. So that makes it quite likely a number of them will get Arrow 4K upgrades.

Also completely 100% agree on Fulci's Zombi, a masterpiece that needs the deluxe treatment.
Who would want to see Arrow Video do a boxed set of Critters in 4k
I would love Dredd to get a chunky 4K boxset as it one of my favourite films of recent years, the Raid 1 and 2 would be good too
Hell yes I'm curious if their gonna do red Dragon and hannibal I'm cool with whatever arrow puts out I love the chunky
I know we still need it on 4k first, but God we need an Arrow Chunky boxset for Fight Club! So many people would line up all day for that!
Great list recommendation brother!
And f*ck yeah…The Matrix ALL DAY LONG!!!! 👍🏼
I want to see the old James Bond movies on 4K. I don’t care who does them. Imagine how great, “From Russia with Love” would look in 4K.

That freaking sucked to feel excited over nothing. Hopefully, we'll get some actual confirmations in the future.

The Thing be awesome for a big set.. This one isn’t a 4K yet but would love to see Phantasm 4K set
Studiocanal has also done a set for The Thing in 4K it even has the movie soundtrack on CD - so has 4 discs.
