    Thanks for sharing your approach to tuning and cleaning. I don't have a cricket, but I do have 3 other air rifles, and I learned a lot, especially about how to work out what to polish!

    Holy shit man...thank you for all of this. I still don't own one of these, but I am definitely going to follow your guide. I'm not going to get the model with the mag holders for sure though. Great write up.

      @kostasdaffy 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      you're not right. The holder is very usefull but you have to do this little modification.
      When the holder is closed it doesn't open by itself cause it haw magnets. The ''problem'' is that when you open to take a magazine you may drop it.
      I'lldo this modification as is very easy.

      Kostas Daffy you dont have to do this modd to get the mag to hold if you go to www.biggo.co.uk they supply a bigger oring that replaces the 2 on the mag and it holds it firmly in the mag holder and holds pellets great aswell

    Phew !! , your talent and know how on air guns is amazing. One question Mr Freeman (I'll call you) were only allowed 12 ft/lbs over here , what gun would you recommend to buy for hunting magpies & crows . One without to much in depth tuning.
    Regards . Roy ,

      Roy Mciver Hello Roy, the cheapest and accurate gun for me is AAS200. It is performing very well for the money in .177 cal.

    Well done.Nice job. I aslo have the cricket(the short one) and i'm really happy with its performance.
    How did you put the 4mm adapter of gauge for measuring the pressure after the regulator.Did you have to drill or something?
    Thanks

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a 4mm already. You need just to do the adapter of the manometer.

    How did you hook up the pressure gauge to read regulated pressure? I want to lower my regulator pressure to detune my .177 cal to about 15fpe for small backyard pests control.
    Many thanks

      @FreeManShooting  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Also the pill box where exactly did you put it?

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Push it to the center of the cylinder. Should have a small hall for the air flow. Should be very tight, because will go to the fire valve from the pressure waves.
