3 days post Double Mastectomy Surgery

Just three days after a double mastectomy surgery with full axillary lymph node dissection. Surgery was 9/11 in the morning and I was able to come home that afternoon. The Mission surgical team was very nice and supportive through the entire process and I never once felt like it was something I’d regret. So happy this portion of my journey is behind me and I can focus on the healing without the tumor having something to butt in about.
