Hey there, I'm Dr. J & I have one hell of a story to share with you. By degree, I'm a Chiropractor & I've got an extensive background in Kinesiology; Fitness Development along with thousands of hours in Cadaver labs both as a student & as a teacher. Just recently, I've been in the midst of a Stage IV Cancer Diagnosis that has turned my world upside down. I always thought I'd start a TH-cam channel to share my exercise advice on how to heal yourself, but life had other plans for me. I'm now focused on sharing my Cancer Journey in hopes to help others navigate this crazy system of ours. I never saw myself having to turn to Western Medicine for anything other than acute injuries, but here I am; 6 months of low-dose Chemo later, & I'm so proud of my ability to integrate both Eastern & Western Medicine. I've suffered minimally compared to what I have seen others go through & I know there are better ways to approach Chronic illnesses. I'd like to teach you about them. Thanks for joining.

มุมมอง 10K28 วันที่ผ่านมา

Post Hurricane Helene and my flooded office 10/13/24
มุมมอง 6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
2 weeks after Hurricane Helene and it’s my first post I’ve been able to do. My office flooded waist deep and I lost most everything in it. I’m surprised with how this year has prepared me for this. Of course I’m devastated over this loss but I can’t help but feel fortunate to have my home and family safe. At the end of the day, it’s all just stuff. Cancer has helped me see this. I don’t have pl...

3 days post Double Mastectomy Surgery

Just three days after a double mastectomy surgery with full axillary lymph node dissection. Surgery was 9/11 in the morning and I was able to come home that afternoon. The Mission surgical team was very nice and supportive through the entire process and I never once felt like it was something I’d regret. So happy this portion of my journey is behind me and I can focus on the healing without the...
Day before Surgery!

Tomorrow in 9/11/24 I’ll be getting a double mastectomy and some unknown amount of lymph nodes removed (in the left axilla)! I’ve had to be an advocate for myself through this journey and this surgery is something I feel is important to reduce my tumor burden and give me a shot at a longer and better life. I’ve had to push to get this option, which would never had been something I thought I’d b...
Pre-op Surgical visit & Vitamin C dosing around Surgery
มุมมอง 772 หลายเดือนก่อน
I talk about my pre-op meeting with my surgeon and the debate whether or not to remove lymph nodes in a Stage 4 cancer patient. We had a great talk and I feel even more confident with my surgeon for her initiative to do her own research and basically put the ball in my court. These are the critical thinkers I’m so fortunate to have found in this journey. I also talk about my vitamin C dosing ar...

Detox Gadolinium from MRI contrast
มุมมอง 2262 หลายเดือนก่อน
Just had my breast MRI with contrast, which is the toxic heavy metal; Gadolinium. Most people excrete this contrast within 24-48 hours through the kidneys and most of the time is doesn’t cause problems but if you have to repeat this procedure several times, it can accumulate and be troublesome to your body. It’s always good to know some safe gentle ways to help the body clear this contrast, and...

Hi, I hope you are doing fine! I have a question about Methylene blue do you still take it and did it help you out? (My sister has the same diagnose)
It is not true that most people excrete the contrast dye fully. It retains for life in everyone who receives it. It accumulates in the brain and body in everyone. They've only started admitting this in recent years after a few rounds of lawsuits and studies that are coming out.
You are doing great! Stay positive💜‼️Thank God basement didn’t flood❤❤😂😂
I think about you and your well being often. Thank you for the update.
You are so so loved and worthy of it all.❤ Please put yourself first and remember self care is self love. We want you to love yourself first and foremost because we want to spend time with you in the future. You are an important part of our lives. Sending you Big Love!😘

Is the chicken s ok
@@jackiehartmansvlogs626 they are alive and well. Definitely starting to look better since they lost a lot of feathers from the stress of the hurricane and the trees on their coop 😅
Super congrats on being able to continue your cancer journey.
Just saw a video of some folks who found some chickens alive in thier severly mangled coop further mangled by a couple of days worth of escavator work. The people are calling them miracle chickens. They were on the ground under the debris and when found pretty much contained. While very thirsty and hungry they survived although until the people figured how to get them out "well contained".
@@terryhenderson424 oh wow!! What a story! Those are miracle chickens!!! My birds amaze me everyday, so resilient!
Is seaweed anti cancer ? Do foods rich in iodine prevent cancer ?
@@dinopulizzi8481 some cancers yes! Maybe all. They should study iodine with cancer more closely. I do eat seaweed and also take black walnut at times which is another great source of iodine. You can even put one drop of iodine on the area of the tumor and add some dmso cream (pre-mixed with aloe is not irritating) and that can also help from the topical aspect. Very useful stuff for a low cost.
You are worth it. Definitely worth it.
I’m so glad you are doing well. Aerial Recovery is amazing. I’m just a mom of 2 boys who knows the power of social media so I saw you were in need, so jumped in to action. 🥰 So grateful to aerial recovery, they are incredible and you’re worth it

Get the book 'Eat Dirt', by Dr. Josh Axe. Have you been advised that immunotherapy acts much better with certsain microbes in your intestines? Some doctors advise delaying the treatment for 3 weeks to change diet to increase the good microbes
@@joannacurran8475 I wasn’t aware but that makes complete sense! I’ll definitely get the book. Thank you! I did a good amount of testing prior to any use of these medications so I did have a great microbiome, but I’m sure the chemo hasn’t helped with that much. Back to pre and probiotics!

We need to spread mistletoe awareness!!!! ❤❤❤
You are definitely worth it! I am 73 yo and spent about half of it putting myself down. It takes so much energy! Look at you! You are beautiful and have a spark in your eyes. ❤
Awe thank you so much for that ❤
Of course stress doesn’t help with healing and cancer is hard enough mentally and physically on the body. You just have to sit and breathe and mentally shut down your brain when feeling overwhelmed and realize that it will get done when it gets done.
Thank you so much for those wise words. I will do my best to make the time I need to for myself, it’s been challenging! But I know I need to. ❤
What is an RSO?
Conducting a successful rescue, recovery, and healing services involves several steps and principles. Here are some best practices: 1. Planning and Preparation - Pre-Disaster Planning: Develop comprehensive emergency plans that include risk assessments, resource inventories, and clear roles and responsibilities. - Training and Drills: Regularly train and conduct drills for all personnel involved in rescue operations to ensure readiness and efficiency. 2. Immediate Response - Initial Assessment: Quickly assess the situation to determine the scope and scale of the disaster. This includes identifying immediate hazards and the number of people affected. - Coordination: Establish a command center to coordinate efforts among various agencies and organizations involved in the rescue mission². 3. Search and Rescue Operations - SAR Planning 'P' Process: Use structured frameworks like the SAR Planning 'P' to transition from initial response to a more formalized, strategic approach. - Resource Allocation: Deploy resources effectively, prioritizing high-risk areas and ensuring that all teams have the necessary equipment and support². 4. Recovery and Healing - Equitable Recovery: Focus on rebuilding communities in a way that addresses the needs of all members, especially those from underserved or vulnerable populations. - local groups Engagement: Involve local group members in the recovery process to ensure that their needs and priorities are met. - Mental Health Support: Provide psychological support and counseling to help individuals and communities heal from the trauma of the disaster¹. 5. Continuous Improvement - After-Action Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews after each mission to identify what worked well and what could be improved. - Updating Plans: Regularly update emergency plans based on lessons learned and evolving best practices. By following these steps, you can enhance the effectiveness of recovery services and support the long-term healing of affected special groups. If you have any specific scenarios or additional questions, feel free to ask your local emergency department for free advise and consultation. .
My mother who lived in Chicagoland and my aunt (an RN) who lived in St. Louis both discovered they had breast cancer at nearly the same time. We were certain is was the 5% hereditary type. My aunt tested for that and was told it was not, surprisingly. My mom survived and it came back 5 years later with a vengeance and took her from us within a year. (55 years old) My aunt took the prescribed medication after the first cancer battle and is still alive. 74 years old but miserably unhealthy currently. She did smoke. Mom did not. I don’t know the name of that medication. Both had reconstruction but regretted it. Too much nerve pain. I almost feel like it would cost effective (financial and psychologically) to have my breast tissue removed ahead of time. I know you are dealing with a lot right now. I will watch more of your videos but will ask ahead of that if you know anything about how a woman would go about this proactive procedure? Sending big support and love. Also, sent funds to Samaritans Purse and Ryan Hall Yall Squad but what is the best one serving you folks from your boots on the ground perspective?
@@SooperTrooper100 I’m so sorry to hear about you mother and Aunt’s cancer. I hope your Aunt’s health turns around for the better soon. And I agree about the surgery, I might have considered proactive if I thought I was at higher risk prior to this journey. There are doctors that do proactive surgeries but they may require genetic testing and risk evaluation before they agree (sad that’s the option but I know top surgery can also be a route that might be more accommodating for choice surgeries). And I think there are a lot of folks to donate to but one I thought that was really helpful was Areal Recovery. ❤️

Sending love and prayers. Sent donations to several groups there. Best luck to you. The NC governor just showed his colors.
One of the first groups that should have been deployed there was the EPA, but they’ve been virtually invisible during this catastrophe. There are huge contamination concerns on the Swananoa, French Broad and others due to upstream chemical factories being wiped out. Please be careful to what you expose yourself. Cadaver dogs are dying after only a few days of exposure to the mud.
Thanks and you’re totally right. Super dangerous stuff and I’m so sad to hear the mud is killing the cadaver dogs.
