Wonderful information wrapped inside a beautiful presentation. As a retired Christian pastor and Urantia Book reader of 10 years I find deep joy in realizing that our indwelling Paradise Father is who Jesus wanted us to KNOW, even beyond finding Him within our hearts. John said it well in 1 John 4:4 "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." Thank you for this video work, Dick!
Thank you, Iza, for your kind remarks. It's encouraging to hear from those who find my videos of value. It helps balance out the negative remarks from some other people such as a few atheists. My hope is that some Christians will see my videos and decide to check out The Urantia Book, especially the section about the life and teachings of Jesus.
Cognitive dissonance plays a big part in the inability for us to venture into new ways of thinking. I don't know why I was ready for The Urantia book back in '77 but it hit me as true and good and beautiful. I am a happier person for it.
Thanks Larry and Dave for your kind remarks. I hope some Christians will have a look at it. It's tough when you're competing with tons of other videos of the same genre.
What we need ,while we hv this life is elevation of our thought processes, to move Beyond material conception , via education And trivial pursuits...and find something unique to ourselves...just us, we will then enter New terrain , which is not limited.
Thanks for the positive feedback, Linda. It's all too rare as many authors and others know. It's usually the critics we hear from! I'm hoping that a lot of Christians will watch this and comment.
Do not be deceived, Galatians 6:7, Jesus said, John 14:6. Other than that, all you say is true and very well put together and many will go to heaven indeed, but many won't stay there. Tomorrow is not promised to no one. Accept Jesus today, as YOUR Lord and Saviour.
I like most of this...except where you say we won't see our pets. I'm positive animals have souls and they are very dear to us as family members. So....it makes no sense that the wild animals would be there. As you say and the Christians...wolf will lie with lamb...lion with goat?? So if these "wilder" animals will be there, then so too must our beloved pets. Not enough that they will live on in our memory. They will be there with us or I will want to go where they are.
The wolf will lie with the lamb is a symbolic phrase. It is not meant to be taken literally. However, their loving energy will always survive. I understand your love of animals. I, also, love them and share my home with several. I believe our animals are here to teach us unconditional love and to help comfort those who feel that no one loves them. Our animals are truly a wonderful gift.
Jesus is the same person in The Urantia Book and the Bible. The Urantia Book simply offers an expanded view of Jesus' life. The Urantia Book uses several thousand quotes from the Bible. Many of the familiar parables and stories of Jesus life found in the Bible are found in The Urantia Book. What is not found in the book are Paul's negative ideas.
@@UrantiaVideos Don't you really see difference? Jesus in Bible: Baptism of Jesus on Jordan river was beginning of His Earth ministry. Finish of His ministry was on Calvary - "It is finished", last words of Jesus. Purpose of Jesus's coming on Earth was to bring His Gospel of Salvation to the World and to be sacrifice for Sin of all mankind. Jesus was/is/will be forever The only Begotten Son of God The Father. All other Sons/daughters of God are adopted. There is life after physical death for every human: born again eternaly in Paradise, unbelievers in Jesus eternaly in Hell ( Matthew 23:33). As a member of Triune God, Jesus knew what is his mision and how to realize it before He came on Earth. He didn' need advisors (Emmanuel, Melkhizedek(s) etc.) Jesus has all authority on Haven and Earth, not only on 1/7 part of Heaven (universe). Jesus in Urantia Book: Baptism of Jesus on Jordan river should be finish of His Earth ministry but He decided to prolong His stay. Original plan was to upgrade spiritual Himself, not to save mankind that have gone astray. Jesus is not The only Begotten Son of God The Father, He has elder (???) brother Emmanuel and many more unnamed. (something misrepresented, Jesus IS Emmanuel from OT, He is God with US). In this life people have chance to upgrade theirs spiritual abilities. If they manage, their "personality" survives physical death and goes further.. If they not, they simply disappear (no Hell). That means - we can live anyway we want, we can't lose anything, we ceaze of existence only, no Paradise, no Hell for us? Sadly... Before entering Earth's life and on mount Hermon Jesus needed advice of Emmanuel. After resurrection, Jesus is given sovereignity/power on "His" part of Universe, not in "all haven and Earth". BTW in Urantia Book there are at least seven evolutive Universe (one of those is Jesus dominion) and separate Universe in center where reside God The Father. Jesus is alowed(???) to go wherever He wants. Summary: My opinion is that The Urantia Book is try to conciliate Theory of Evolution and Bible Story of Creation, to decrease importance of Bible as a Word of God, to annul Jesus's sacrifice on Calvary as unnecessary, to hide promise of Jesus that He will come again for His Bride (Church), to discredit teachings of Apostles, especially apostle Paul's (they did not undersanded teachings of Jesus but were ready to give their lives for spreading Gospel?). Teaching very close to Scientology and New Age... No one word about Jesus's essentiall teaching of necessity to be born again in water and spirit. I understand that Christian Churches today are apostate mainly, they do not keep the Word of God (New Testament) as guide in life but their tradition. Jesus's Bride - Church is/will be built of born again members of all ages and all "Christian" Churches baptised in the name of Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, that are keeping Commandment of God and faith of Jesus. Faith appruved by life (tree is known by its fruit). Beware of false prophets and teachings, coming of Jesus is near... BTW Urantia Book does not speak about Jesus's coming again, there is no Maranatha (split word in two whatever you want, credal or comand version). And for apl. Paul - without Him We would have not speak and think about Jesus today. Christianity would have been dead on the very beginning. He spread Gospel of Jesus out of ancient Judea mainly. He realised that Jesus came for all mankind, not for Israelites only.
am a Christian and totally disagree with the idea that all religions will enter kingdom of God,the only way to the father is through Jesus,He said this himself, read your bible well.
Another way to look at it is that we all have to pass through the divine administration of Jesus to reach God. I don't think we are the judges of who goes to Heaven; that's God's choice, not ours. After all, if only Christians go to Heaven, then Jesus and his Apostles wouldn't qualify since they were Jewish.
Satan is very clever if you examine all the cults in the world you will find a common thread. The cults always deny the unique God Jesus Christ and that he is the only way. They differ on other issues of no eternal concern but at the point of salvation that grants eternal life they lie. Satan could care less if you live a loving life or ethical existence. Satan knows that in the end the only thing that matters is what you believe concerning Jesus the Living God and only savior of the world.
Beliefs are of the mind; faith is of the heart. Beliefs divide; faith can unite. Faith is a relationship of trust with God in our hearts; faith does not need rituals, words, or holy books. Our faith relationship with God is our ticket to Heaven, not our beliefs.
I agree that faith and belief are commonly used interchangeably. My understanding of belief is that it is the things we accept as true. I was using faith as shorthand to indicate a personal relationship with God. My point is that we can believe in God, accept that God exists, but we may not have a personal relationship with God. I think belief can lead to faith or a personal relationship with God, so in that sense it is a necessary first step towards that relationship. And I believe that a personal relationship with God is necessary for our survival into the next life, and I think those who are not Christian can have such a relationship. Even the Apostle Paul makes an exception for those who are not Christians. See Romans 2:15.

Thanks Kelly. I've been reading/studying the Urantia Book for 50 years and I still keep learning new things.
I've been reading for 50 years as well and you're right about new things.
Great to hear each word. Thank you
Thanks! Very enlightening, informative, and visionary about the next life.
I enjoyed this video and learned some new things. Thank you.
I got knowledge of the Urantiabook by my good friend Pauli Kenkimäki in Finland and I am today happy of this
Very nice reading. When a voice is pleasing to the ear it illuminates the teachings of this amazing revelation to our world. Thank you!

I think that fear of the unknown is also a factor keeping people from checking out the book.

Well done Dick, very impressive. Thank you for all you do! Larry Mullins
Wonderful ... thank you!
I really like your voice.
animals have a soul.
fantastic book !
Excellent work Dick! A well-constructed and thoughtful examination that integrates glimpsed fragments from distinct sources.
Thanks Jeff.
believing is by us created to hold onto life untill we find our higher self

Who are the meek that inherit the earth? This Urantia book is based off Gnosticism.
New Age stuff. Jesus from Bible is The Only Way, Truth and The Life.
