Everytime a video of John comes up, I immediately stop what im doing and watch it. He is the kind of guy, you would love to go have a pint with, you'd lose a whole afternoon just talking and learning soo much cool stuff
Dang, I use 3 guns to a Napoleonic battery, but the spacing you have used gives a better look! Super impressed and I'll have to review my artillery basing now! Thank you for the ideas!
Awesome! managed to score some spanish infantry and artillery at the crisis show last month, look forward to painting them, lovely sculpts! Mine are foot artillery though, bicornes look so snazzy!
Great minis. I read that the Spanish army was short on horses, so it was not uncommon for the horse artillery to use mules, which were quite common in the Spanish empire. Apparently the cannons carried by mules had a lower top speed in flat terrain. But mules could traverse difficulty terrain easier than horses, such as montains or forests. Mules are also said to have remained calmer when under enemy fire.
Looks nice.but quite more expensive than the liked of Perry Miniatures. Sorry I'm not be.buying any of these. Nice to see but that's as far as I'll go.
