Great video Matt, thank you for showing these off. Really helped me decide if I want to include these into my force. And the sergeant with three stripes and a diamond (or a lozenge) is a First Sergeant, just fyi 😉
Thanks Phil! Yeah they seem great at first glance. Will hopefully be painting them up this week. Today is my third attempt at getting outside to prime them haha
Nice video Matt, thank you for the Perry comparison. It looks like I can mix them if I want. I am also a fan of backpacks. Looking forward to the artillery unboxing.
It's certainly interesting to see them go down the resin route, they look nice but hopefully not as brittle, nice unboxing matt, they look nicer than the warlord resin Napoleonic stuff they released
Thank you for the unboxing! I might try these. I do enjoy the Perry minis. Do you think these minis will "blend" in well with the Perry minis? Have a great week!
Equipment is nearly the same size so the real difference is in the minis`overall style. And they do come in a certain variety from being very slim guys (almost like Old Glory 25s) to bigger and taller sculpts, what actually is nice. I do not see an issue with mixing the marching poses with those from Perry except, of course, for the frock coats. With the artillery it is a bit different at least from my perspective as the Warlord guys have a very different style and are more massive compared to their thin Perry comrades

Ah thanks I couldn’t remember what sergeant it was!
Nice unboxing, lovely poses and promising units!

Really cool. Have a great paint job.
Thankyou 👍
@@KingMATTtheSuperior I will be painting some Warlord models soon.
@@goforitpaintingwhat miniatures are you going to be painting up?

Thanks Matt! The artillery video will be coming out this week
I have to admit - I loved your resin stress testing :)
Thankyou me lord :)
They look very nice Matt . Might take a look at these once they come out here in NZ . Good to see you back at it again mate 🥃🥃👍🏻
Thanks Todd! I’m going to do a video once I’ve painted these up as not sure the video did the detailed sculpts justice

I’m yet to push the resin to its limits so can’t say how easily it brakes. But yes I do like their sculpts even if it was another company’s work

Thankyou! Yes I think they blend well “enough”

Did you use super glue to get the arms on or a plastic glue?
I used super glue to glue the arms on. Seems to be working so far
For me cost is everything maybe one box for a difference
I agree cost is very important. I see these as more of a treat rather than something to bulk out an army
You could convert the armless chap into a replacement for the useless 2nd flag bearer.
Armless guy might sit out the fight deeming on if I can get a replacement or not. Or I might try sculpt a sleeve and have him as a fighting amputee
Confederate infantry regiments carried two flags at least until Gettysburg. So not useless at all
Absolutely
