Spinner Fishing the Border Esk

Fishing a summer spate on the Border Esk at Canonbie. A bright sunny day after some torrential rain showers the previous day. The rain raised the river a couple of metres before it fell back to the conditions shown in the video. A number of fish were taken on the Canonbie beat on this day including, Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout, giving anglers of all ages something to cheer about, unfortunately I was unable to make contact with Salmon on this day, but some success was had.

Yes, it is a Daiwa Whisker Spin (10ft 20-60g) mated to a Penn Spinfisher 6500 LC and Maxima nylon.
