My personal top picks would be “The Waiting”, “Even the Losers”, “Free Fallin’”, “Runnin’ Down a Dream” and “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”.

His birthday concert we have here each year is so fun! The BEST is when we sing "Won't Back Down" before the 4th quarter of each home football game. 96K people singing it sounds amazing - Tom would be so honored. Brad & Lex: lots of videos of it on You Tube - check it out.
Huge shout out to our other home town boys, Sister Hazel. Ken Block & Andrew Copeland started singing here together 28 years ago - joining them Jett, Ryan, & Mark to complete the band. Their song "All For You" hit #11 on Billboard. Amazing albums & they never stop touring. Nicest guys ever! ❤🎵✌

I LOVE watching you guys and seeing how open you are to different genres of music. I definitely agree with the rest of the folks here, you definitely need to do more Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers reactions. Tom Pettys lyrics impacted, changed, and even saved so many people's lives, including mine. Not only that, him and the Heartbreakers were as real as a rock band could get. How many bands can say that they've been together for over 40 years? Not many, that's for sure but Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were still rockin and still touring after 40 years and up until the day Tom passed. RIP Tom, we miss you but your memory and music lives on!!!!!

Today two songwriters write the majority of songs for several artists. Then you have artists that have an entire team of songwriters. Back then the singers usually wrote their own songs, played instruments, and often produced their own recordings. Tom Petty has a massive number of songs he wrote as does Stevie Nicks.

"Such is life!" Lex has a gift for getting to the philosophical core of a song.

I have always loved the line, "People running around loose in the world, ain't got nothing better to do". He was born in 1950, and Stevie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, so technically they did have old voices as you said.

Tom wrote it for her. It was one of her 4 top 10 picks. They never came out and said it but implied. Petty wrote all his music, he did have help from Mike Campbell. Stevie was a honary member of The Heart Breakers.

Their voices compliment each other...aka. Yin and yang. That's what makes this song so great.

Tom & Stevie were both great song writers. This was written by Tom Petty and didn't make it onto an album he had just finished recording. The producer that worked on that album started working with Stevie on her first solo project suggest to Stevie that song and Tom said yes.

Definitely one of my favorite duets over the years! A couple others (country genre) are "Remind Me" by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood (Official music video if possible!) and "Don't You Wanna Stay" by Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson. Peace & Love, always :-)
