Scammer sells me Fake Pokemon Cards!

- I spent $700 on tons of Pokémon cards only to find out they are all fake/re-sealed packs 😳

This is a huge amount of booster boxes to scam someone with...it's not just some kid trying to recoup some money....this is a true criminal. U should put him on blast if he isn't being criminally prosecuted. He will do this to others so please help those future victims of this criminal.

I’ve seen resealed vintage before but man I’ve never seen resealed modern.. this was a huge shock honestly. People will do anything for a buck…
Yes… it surprised me too. The packs are mostly worth around $3 each. It’s like counterfeiting 1 dollar bills 😅 I learned my lesson though and will be more careful, especially with large purchases. Thanks for the support!

I tried getting an ebt of brilliant stars for around 30$ last year and the first 2 i got from different sources were all resealed in some way....they had this silver looking stuff all over the seals and the crimp seals were like super stiff. Both were purchesed from major sellers too...
Wow…. Sorry. It sucks! I’ve had really good luck up to this point 😅 it’s really unfortunate but especially where I live I have to start being more careful.
So far ive only bought off amazon, i try to make sure it says its sold by AND shipped by amazon just to be safe, nothing resealed so far. I dont plan to buy anywhere else, too much sketchy shit in the card scene. I do plan on buying from my local card stores sometime because atleast you can see and feel the packs/cards.
Amazon has been great for me too-and yes. It’s sad how bad it’s gotten 😕

I bought everything for 700. It was off of OfferUp.

those are resealed with heat, he either used an iron or a hair straighter or something that is somewhat like that

Just curious, was this one of the "too good" of a deal? I am not really sure why you would gamble $700 on marketplace.
I’ve bought a lot of large lots before, and it was a very good deal, but not really “too good to be true.” Most of the packs were actually lower value-around $3/pack. That’s the market price for a lot of scarlet violet sets. What caught me off guard was not thinking someone would take the time to tamper with that many packs! It was a ton of effort for the scammer. It’s something I didn’t see coming-almost like a counterfeit $1 bill. But, everyone lives and learns. Most poke-tubers get scammed along the way, and luckily for me you guys are very supportive and the video is actually doing really well!
