I don't know if you noticed or if anyone else has mentioned this, but the only butts featured in this video were theirs. They didn't exploit females like they could have. I think that's pretty classy on their part.
One other tid-bit....The guy in the overhauls...dancing at the end? He's a friend of some of the group and appeared on a dare. Ya beat me to the punch regarding the female butts.~!!!
Home Free is my favorite group, thank you for the reaction! These guys are great, so talented, and genuine folks you would like to hang out with! I echo what many folks have recommended..They did a great Sea Shanty Melody, Hillbilly Bone is lots of fun, everybody walk-in this land and May Day are excellent! Thanks so much! 🤗❤️
It would be great to sample each member taking the lead. May I suggest “End of the Road”, Rob lead, shared with Austin. “I Can’t Outrun You “, Chance lead, 5 part harmony. “Friends in Low Places”, Tim lead. “When a Man Loves a Woman “ Austin lead. “Blue Ain’t Your Color “, Rob lead shared with Chance. Then… and Adam Rupp drum solo to really see what he can do. There is a fan video from 2015(he’s wearing a plaid flannel shirt) that is good quality, then there is a new one from February 2022 that shows how he’s grown. He’s not a beatboxer…he’s a percussionist, and his ability to create sounds is extraordinary
I agree with ALMOST everything you said. However, as far as I know, Adam Rupp refers to himself as a beatboxer. Besides drums, he also does a nomonica (a harmonica sound without the harmonica) in Man of Constant Sorrow, castanets in the Sea Shanty medley, a shotgun in Folsom Prison, wind in Brothers in Arms, animal sounds and dj sounds in his drum solo performances, etc. Not exactly a percussionist.
@@DeerlyMusical2 I am well aware of his talent. Perhaps I could have worded my comment differently. My referring to him as a percussionist is, to me, a high compliment. His ability to make you forget that there are no instruments is astounding. His ability to drive the rhythm section with the bass is astounding. His creation of the sound of actual drums, high hats, etc, is astounding. Participating in the 5 part harmony, doing sound effects. Maybe it’s my age, but to me beatboxer doesn’t seem like it’s descriptive enough for him. But then, who am I to be negative about how Adam refers to himself? I have nothing but admiration for his astonishing talent.
So many great songs to choose from, it is hard to make a recommendation, a couple of my favorites are John Denver's Take Me Home County Roads, and Crazy by the legend Patsy Cline.
I love this group! How Great Thou Art, My Church, Champaigne Taste on a Beer Pocketbook, In the Blood, Hillbilly Bone, just to name a few. Great reaction!!
The title of that song is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. The sequel to it is Full of Cheer. Please ignore the Christmassy look to it, it's still full of fun all year round. Both of them are written by Tim Foust. Another Christmas video to watch all year is Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. The homeowners are actually friends and family of the group. Songs That Didn't Make the Cut is live show gold. There's also the concert video called BHH & WWTWWS which starts with the group backing Austin in "Bring Him Home" then going into the hilarious "What We're Thinking While We're Singing." Actually there are several videos under that second name; things may change a little depending on the location of the concert. Just like with "Guilty Pleasures". There's the "derailed" version (that's the one most likely to come up) plus two more that are slightly different depending on the crowd's response.
They did “UNCHAINED MELODY” as the serious one for Valentines Day, which was done on the original reason the song was written for the movie in 1955…UNCHAINED. It’s done so well ‼️ Now, for the humorous one…MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE by Adele.
@@dotwyness4110 you are thinking of Let You Feel My Love,also released for Valentine's day. Bob Dylan was a child when the original Unchained Melody was written.
I'm glad you've come to appreciate them now...One of the reasons we are such loyal fans is because these guys are good dudes, never take themselves too seriously and what they stand for. Have you seen their cover of Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms"....it might be their masterpiece....it's hauntingly beautiful, and a message the world could use right now.
These men are such fun!! They wrang every ounce of fun out of this, and did it without demeaning anyone. Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voice Play - the holy trinity of a capella.
This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level.
Well Home Free is nuts and I love them. Even when silly, their music never suffers. They have a wicked sense of humor. They have a lot of fun ones, serious ones, covers, originals, they do it all but their harmonies are always so good. They’ve had one band change, in the older videos they have Chris (cowboy hat or ball cap) and it the newer ones (since 2016) they have Chance (short dark beard). If you want silly - Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Country Fried Pop Medley, Make You Love Me, I Swear. Serious - Helplessly Hoping, Brothers in Arms, How Great Thou Art, In the Blood. One Man Band. Good reaction guys!
Last year on April 1st they put out 3 rickrolling videos, then on the 2nd did Never Gonna Give You Up (dressed in clothes similar to the original video). Some other fun ones, Sunday Best, Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget (written by Tim), Honey I'm Good, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Livin (Anchor Man vibe), I Swear, Thinking Out Loud/LetsGet It On, Can't Stop The Feeling, there are sooo many more.
I really appreciate this reaction. Honestly, after your first reactions to Home Free, I never expected you to react like this to them. I'm glad I stuck around and saw it. Thanks for your reaction.
Yea, us Home Fries are kind of funny that way! I will continue as long as they appreciate what they are listening to. Otherwise i''m moving on and finding others who do.
If you want to hear Tim sing bass watch “Brothers In Arms”an incredible remake of a Dire Straits song. It is hauntingly beautiful and the boys sing 5 part harmony. Also, give “HillbillyBone” “Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget,” “Guilty Pleasures” which is a live performance, “Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get it On” a mashup cover of Ed Sheehan and Marvin Gay, and “End of the Road” by Boyz 2 Men and “Man of Constant Sorrow” just to name a few.
Happy seeing y'all reacting to Home Free again. They really are a great group of guys and so much more to see and enjoy. Lot of suggestions below and they all are great. A few more maybe...Ed Sherran/Marvin Gaye cover of/Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get It On...amazingly done...Land Of The Free...written by Tim Foust and Chris Chatham (Tim's Friend) Land of the free is a great song. Thanks
So happy you enjoyed this one more and thanks for giving Home Free another chance. HF loves to have fun! Their cover of Huey Lewis' "Working for a Living" is delightful.
Have you done their mashup of 17 pop songs by 15 different artists? It's pretty special. They did it so long ago, but always a great one to watch! Thanks again.
This was an April fool's day release from Home Free. They love to have fun. For other genres look at Hopelessly Hoping or Brothers in Arms. Layne from VoicePlay helped arrange this.
Just subscribed for more Home Free reactions. Absolutely love these guys. So much talent. Hillbilly Bones is another of their more fun/comical efforts. On the more serious side, it would be awesome to see you react to their cover of Dire Strait’s Brothers in Arms.
This is a medley of "butt songs"-from 2 country groups, 3 rappers and Queen. They've taken excerpts from each original video and made them their own. Really funny! They purposely did it without exploiting women.
Great reaction!! I'm a recent Home Fry and I'm so glad I found these guys. Maybe you could try Can't Stop This Feeling, One Man Band, Workin for a Living, even Folsom Prison Blues. New sub and thanks for spotlighting them!!
I love their medleys. The arrangements are so smooth& transition seamlessly Even when they are having so much fun their harmonies are spot on. I love Home Free for their style and vocal range and all the genres they cover. Also love the other bands especially Voice Play. Geoff & Avi's solo stuff is amazing. Tim, Chance & Austin are all doing solo stuff as well.
I like these guys! And between BP2 considering getting his butt out, and BP1 getting all excited at the Thong Song, this reaction was gold! This is one of their fun ones. Their Sea Shanty is pretty cool too, but I love their cover of 'Brothers in Arms'. Such a classic song, and they really do it justice. I have no idea why the UK has never embraced a cappella. Such a shame, because there's some awesome stuff out there. Nice one! 👏👏👏
@EnderOllie 4 This was great fun and just our cup of tea, plus the oldies in there were a treat for us too. We will see what else we can find and mix it up with some more fun one and some of the serious too. Brothers in Arms has been requested a lot too. It does seem strange why the UK has not picked this up more as it really is great. Cheers me dear's
BP1 said he loves the Thong Song. If you go back and re-watch that part, you'll see that Austin does the high warble sound by moving his finger up and down between his lips. A lot of people miss that.
I'd like to recommend their collaborations: "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers, "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys, and "American Pie" with Don McLean. In each of these songs the Home Free arrangements honor and uplift the original artist but also showcase the group's mastery of harmonies and performance.
As a fellow Brit I appreciate that we don't have a big country music scene in the UK (unless you listen to 'Whispering" Bob Harris on Radio 2). However HF sing some classic songs across all genres that you'll know. Everyone knows 'Never Gonna Give You Up' - Rick Astley, done during lockdown & again them being silly! 'Brothers in Arms' - Dire Straits is a masterpiece, 'Helplessly Hoping' - Crosby, Stills & Nash, a masterclass in harmonising. For newer country there's 'Blue Ain't Your Color' - Keith Urban, watch the dance moves! ' In The Blood' - John Mayer, powerful lyrics. There are some great other suggestions in the comments for classics and originals, you'll need a month to just scratch the surface!
@Great auntielou Hello to you and you are correct about the Country music scene unless we go searching for it, there is not much out there. We have been doing quite a few Country artists on the channel and getting to appreciate it more and more. Thanks for popping in and we enjoyed this song, let's see what we can find next. Cheers
If you'd like to hear some of their original songs, check out "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" (another funny one), "Dive Bar Saints", and "Dreamer" ( there are 2 versions, one just them and one with the band Texas Hill. Both are great). I also love some of their songs done over quarantine, "Sea Shanty Medley", "Meet in the Middle", "Down to the Honkey Tonk", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Never Gonna Give You Up", just to name a few. Best harmonizing, check out "Brothers in Arms" and "Helplessly Hoping". I also agree you should react to one of Adam Rupp's (beatboxer), drum solo videos. Try this one first (older video) th-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/w-d-xo.html Then listen to this most recent video th-cam.com/video/u5c4Ci0gOxI/w-d-xo.html to see how much his talent has grown. He uses a looper in the second one. Can't wait to see some more Home Free reactions by you guys! :)
@Audrey F Hello Audrey, thank you for all the information and the recommendations. We will note those down and try and do at least some of them. That was great fun. All the best.
@@BritPopsReact Two missed songs I have to add are their first video done under quarantine is actually titled Quarantine and I think it's done to the tune of a Billy Joel song. The second is the inadvertent sequel to Champagne Taste called Full of Cheer. Ignore the Christmas time feel and just enjoy Austin's vocals and Tim's happy little boy in a grown man's body.
I couldn't click fast enough when I saw you'd done this one! So much fun! Maybe a good thing you started with the not quite as popular ones so you can be wowed even more by them now!? My recommendations would be for a serious but amazing one go for Brothers in Arms and for another fun one Country Fried Pop Medley. There are lots of other good ones too though. Great reaction, thank you 👍🙂
Welcome and thanks for taking the time to really giving Home Free a shout out. You won't regret. You want to hear a great Beatboxer listen to Home Free singing When a Man Loves a Woman, Austin Brown is lead, Brothers in Arms for Deep bass no beat boxing Tim Foust and Adam Chance leads, Guys it doesn't really matter what song they knock it out of the park.
I agree, they had a lot of fun doing this🎉 Adam Rupp was amazing with his beatboxing and the harmonies were spot on! Love this remix! I love Home Free😊
They are the group that would be having a tail gate party in a parking lot, Voiceplay is the theatrical group but not all the time and PTX are the kings and queen of the prom. They are all different and enjoy all their differences. All the groups were on the Sing Off, PTX on season 3 and won of course, Home Free and Voiceplay we're on season 4, Home Free won and if I remember right Voiceplay came in 5th.
Actually Home Free and Voiceplay was on the same season of The Sing Off. Pentatonix won the season before Home Free. You may want to watch Ring of Fire and How Great Thou Art. Pentatonix was on Pitch Perfect 2 along with The Filharmonics.You many want to check out season 4 of The Sing Off to see the growth of Home Free. Enjoyed watching your reactions to these songs.
I’m so glad to both liked this. I generally prefer their more serious originals or covers, but this one is fun. Whatever they do is always very well done. You probably don’t need to put a filter or the overlay on their video, as most are on their label and are seldom blocked.
You can see The Sing-Off performances on TH-cam. I'm not sure if you can see full episodes there, but a search of Sing-Off on TH-cam will give you all of Home Free's performances on there as well as, I'm sure, some of the other groups that competed. VoicePlay was on the same season as HomeFree in case you're interested to know that.
@Kimberly Elrod Hello Kimberly, thank you for the nice comment. We have enjoyed all the Home Free songs and will be back with more soon. Thanks for watching
Another Home Fry here. So if this means you are going to react to HF for a month i will sub. They have many goofy fun videos if that's what you're into. I suggest Sea Shanty Medley for a good time and great voices. See all your new subs? Them's Home fries. I am sure there will be plenty more comin.
@bobbie1st Hello to you and thank you for the comment. We only do this part time for fun and usually go all over the place checking out new artists and then going back. What we will do here is each week is put out another Home Free video, which we might not have come back to for a few months. Hope that helps and we appreciate you checking out the channel. Cheers
This was an April Fools' video from 2015 . Eric "Buegs" is one of Rob's good friends. His short overalls is a reference to Maddie & Tae's video called "Girl in a Country Song". Check it out--makes Buegs' antics here even funnier 🤣
You've had Flying Pickets in 80's that was British acapella group with hits and covers (Only You), and they were doing something like acapella groups of this age, but acapella groups of now are doing it to n-th degree
@Domagoj Batinic Hello and thank you for the comment, you are correct regarding Flying Pickets and also correct that the acapella groups have seriously steeped the game up. This was a great song and funny video. Cheers
In an interview with Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) he said that this was his pet project. In summary, his sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man at the end in the one-shoulder overalls is a friend of Rob Lundquist (beard & glasses) and co-hosts on Rob's channel.
Great reaction. There are so many terrific Home Free songs to check out. You won't be disappointed by any of them. And if you want real indication of Adam Rupp's (the beat boxer) ability, give a listen to his drum solo from one of Home Free's live performances. It will blow your mind!
Listen! Listen!!! LISTEN!!!!! You guys need to hear their Mayday cover, BUT please listen to the original performed by Cam. This will help prepare you for the magic that Home Free does to it. Cheers!! (BTW same could be said for their cover of The Eagles' song "Seven Bridges Road". Enjoy.
Thank you for doing Home Free. Subscribed for your HF reactions. You should start out with their earlier releases (like this) and then you'll experience how much the band has grown (starting from QUARANTINE).
I know Home Free is mainly country but must take a shot at them with a cover of "End of the Road" and "" When A Man Loves A Woman ". Both are R & B and done very very well. Thank, love your shows.
Some great songs to check out are Working for a living, All About that Bass, Man of constant Sorrow, My church, Sea Shanty Medley, Champagne Taste Beer Budget, and the LAST one you should listen to in Mayday then check out some of the Solo work done by Members of HomeFree
Everyone suggests End of the Road because of Rob. My favourite Rob performance is Colder Weather. The solution would be to react End of the Road and the live version of Colder Weather because one of them forgets the lyrics so it's another funny performance. Please add Guilty Pleasures to the list.
This one was fun. Chris came up with the idea and had to talk the others into it. I think they're glad they did it. There was another acapella group back in the 80's that was kinda famous called Rockapella.
@Sylvia Wagers Hi Sylvia, this was just our cup of tea and it was great fun. We will see what else we can find, some fun ones and some of the more serious ones. Thanks for popping in.

Adam is a 2 time beatboxer worl champion! Brothers in Arms really showcases their extraordinary talent!! There are so many! Home fry forever!!
First time on your channel and I'm here for more Home Free reactions. I love to see people discover how talented they are. Great video :)
@Jennifer
Thank you for popping into check out the channel.
Back with more Home Free soon.
Cheers
Home Free !! The best of the best!! Ty for your reactions!!
I don’t know why everyone hasn’t mentioned Mayday. I think they’ll get a 10 for that one.
BP1 said he loves the Thong Song. If you go back and re-watch that part, you'll see that Austin does the high warble sound by moving his finger up and down between his lips. A lot of people miss that.
This one is always so much fun. Thank you ^_^
I'd like to recommend their collaborations: "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers, "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys, and "American Pie" with Don McLean. In each of these songs the Home Free arrangements honor and uplift the original artist but also showcase the group's mastery of harmonies and performance.
The people they collaborated with asked to sing with them, as far as i remember.
@Great auntielou
Hello to you and you are correct about the Country music scene unless we go searching for it, there is not much out there.
We have been doing quite a few Country artists on the channel and getting to appreciate it more and more.
Thanks for popping in and we enjoyed this song, let's see what we can find next.
Cheers
One that I haven't seen a reaction to is "19 you and me". Feel good song and nice background story in the video. I think you'd enjoy it.
@Audrey F
Hello Audrey, thank you for all the information and the recommendations.
Watch the walk on need the end of Dive Bar Saints. You might recognize the person.
Great reaction, thank you 👍🙂
@Becca
Hi Becca, thank you for the comment and the recommendations.
We will be back with more from Home Free soon.
That was a fun one.
Cheers
👍🙂👍🙂
Looking forward to this month’s spotlight! Thank you guys for doing this!
@Catherine Verive
Thank you for the comment, we will be back with more from Home Free soon.
Home Free...sooooo love!! Soooo fun!!!!❤
Love Home Free . Love your reactions. Keep the good work. I'm definitely a Home Fry!
@Kimberly Elrod
Hello Kimberly, thank you for the nice comment.
We have enjoyed all the Home Free songs and will be back with more soon.
Thanks for watching
My suggestions: My Church, Folsom Prison Blues, Crazy, Blue Ain't Your Color, Working for a Living!
We home fry's love our home free 🍟❣️💯
Y'all buckle up! It's gonna be quite a ride!!!
Another Home Fry here. So if this means you are going to react to HF for a month i will sub. They have many goofy fun videos if that's what you're into. I suggest Sea Shanty Medley for a good time and great voices. See all your new subs? Them's Home fries. I am sure there will be plenty more comin.
@bobbie1st
Hello to you and thank you for the comment.
@Marsha C
Thank you for the fun fact, we like those.
Thanks for popping into our channel too.
Cheers
@@BritPopsReact Tim wore the overalls in Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget, then they were made into cutoffs so Buegs could wear them for Butts Remix!
You've had Flying Pickets in 80's that was British acapella group with hits and covers (Only You), and they were doing something like acapella groups of this age, but acapella groups of now are doing it to n-th degree
@Domagoj Batinic
Hello and thank you for the comment, you are correct regarding Flying Pickets and also correct that the acapella groups have seriously steeped the game up.
If you want to be even more mind blown listen to this song Home Free - Ain't Goin' Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up)
@Scull1
Hello to you and thanks for the comment.
We will return with more Home Free soon.
Cheers
Great reaction. There are so many terrific Home Free songs to check out. You won't be disappointed by any of them. And if you want real indication of Adam Rupp's (the beat boxer) ability, give a listen to his drum solo from one of Home Free's live performances. It will blow your mind!
The guy in the overalls is Rob's friend Buugs
Listen!
Listen!!!
LISTEN!!!!!
You guys need to hear their Mayday cover, BUT please listen to the original performed by Cam. This will help prepare you for the magic that Home Free does to it.
Cheers!!
(BTW same could be said for their cover of The Eagles' song "Seven Bridges Road". Enjoy.
Great Britain had the Buzztones as acapella
You guys are great. I love your reserved British comments. The commenters in the states get so much more excited.
Don't do Mayday until you know each ones range
That was Rob Lundquist whistling
Love Home Free! Please react to more. All their songs are good! ❤️
i love this song love home free
Wow!Great song and team!Thank you, friends, for the excellent reaction!👏👍🇷🇺
@Pavel Suvorov ◼
Hey Pavel, that was great fun and they really are very good.
Some great old song s in there too.
Glad you enjoyed it.
👍👍
Love HomeFree, so just watched CHAMPAGNE on a Beer budget. Did you know Tim Faust wrote it?
Me again you need to check out HomeFree; How great thou art ,
Go rest high on that mountain, Country roads, Mayday.
The first one I remember watching is Man of Constant Sorrow but any one is worth a watch.
Thank you for doing Home Free. Subscribed for your HF reactions. You should start out with their earlier releases (like this) and then you'll experience how much the band has grown (starting from QUARANTINE).
For instrument sounds try Home Free covers of Can't Stop the Feeling or Ain't Going Down til the Sun Comes Up.
How did I miss this??? Love it, thanks guys 😂❤
I know Home Free is mainly country but must take a shot at them with a cover of "End of the Road" and "" When A Man Loves A Woman ". Both are R & B and done very very well. Thank, love your shows.
You'll like whats coming tonight then! ...
Some great songs to check out are Working for a living, All About that Bass, Man of constant Sorrow, My church, Sea Shanty Medley, Champagne Taste Beer Budget, and the LAST one you should listen to in Mayday then check out some of the Solo work done by Members of HomeFree
❤🤠#HomeFree. Fun Medley. Great reaction. 🏠🍟
Everyone suggests End of the Road because of Rob. My favourite Rob performance is Colder Weather. The solution would be to react End of the Road and the live version of Colder Weather because one of them forgets the lyrics so it's another funny performance. Please add Guilty Pleasures to the list.
Champagne taste on a beer budget.
How great thou art
Folsom prison blues
Just to offer a mix.
@Brad Clifton
Hi Brad, we have one of those suggestions coming out tomorrow.
Cheers
This one was fun. Chris came up with the idea and had to talk the others into it. I think they're glad they did it. There was another acapella group back in the 80's that was kinda famous called Rockapella.
@Sylvia Wagers
Hi Sylvia, this was just our cup of tea and it was great fun.
We will see what else we can find, some fun ones and some of the more serious ones.
Thanks for popping in.
🤣🤣 happy you reacted to this. They are always so funny 😁
@Ruth Minney
This was great fun and we really enjoyed it.
Let's see what we can find for next week.
Cheers
