• shouldn't have scrunched your hair up in the shower. • shouldn't have used the mask. • shouldn't have put shampoo in it. It specifically says that on the box...
First off, your hair didn't look that healthy to begin with. It looked knotted and tangled. Second, before you dye your hair it's recommended that you get some dead ends off before doing it. Third, you shouldn't use anything else in your hair besides what's in your hair dying box!
Do u think I fucking care I dyed my hair ginger red with the same dye stuff she uses with my other stuff and actually why say her hair is in heathy she really just woke up and when she did look like she had good hair it was a different place so it was just probably a dread lock
I've bleached my hair a lot and I've never had to cut my hair even if it's been tangled could she not have soaked it in conditioner and coconut oil and gently gotten out the knot ???
It's the way you shampooed your hair... There is no reason to bring the ends of your hair up to the scalp and scrub the crap out of it like that. Also, in all box dyes, even the black dye, has 30 volume developer. It's lightening your hair to deposit the color so it's damaging your hair. Mane and tail is also a crap shampoo. When you wash your hair all you have to do is shampoo the scalp. The water will rinse the bubbles down the lengths of your hair and clean the strands.
brass bullets All boxed hair color has 20 volume developer in it unless its demi permanent then its 10 volume. If they put 30 volume developer in hair color nobody would have any hair left! lol we'd all be bald.
Yass Javaherchi If you knew anything about hair, you would know that what I said was true. I did accidentally say 30 instead of 20 volume (I did mean 20), but I still stand by what I say. Box color is fucking horrible for your hair, and when you pile all your hair on top of your head and scrub the shit out of it, of course it's going to get tangled. You have you treat your hair gently when it's wet. The only part of your hair that is necessary to use shampoo on is the scalp and the roots. Ask any hairdresser. Proper shampooing is one of the first things you learn in cosmetology school. Your hair is already fragile because of the lift caused by the developer, the cuticle has been opened, and on top of that, you pile your hair on top of your head and scrub it around with cheap ass shampoo full of sulfates. Mane and tail was originally used for horses. It's garbage. Basically if you can buy it from a drug store, its garbage.
Yass Javaherchi She is right. Instead of saying her answer was dumb maybe you should have done some research and should have come up with a better response yourself :l
Rouge Blogz I did go to cosmetology school after all lol. I think it's also really weird that her stylist didn't explain to her how to properly shampoo her hair. If a client had come in and told me everything she had done step by step, I would know immediately what happened. Plus, I would tell a client to stay away from boxed colors. They have metals in them that when used with certain professional or perhaps even some drug store hair products can cause a chemical reaction in the hair that can cause it to smoke and then melt! I stay far far away from box color. If you want to color your hair at home, why not go to Sally beauty supply and spend a few more bucks on a product that won't ruin your hair?
I have naturally curly hair and was cringing so hard, when seeing how she washed her hair. No matter what hair type you have, you should never wash your hair the way she did. If you scrub your hair like that all you are doing is making knots in your hair. With shampoo you always scrub the scalp and when you rinse let the shampoo reach the rest of your hair. Never scrub the ends with it. Doing it that way probably added to knots she received from all the chemicals she put in her hair.
Here's what happened: you put in a hair dye, which strips your hair. Normally after applying a dye you should condition, dry and style. But you washed your hair with Mane & Tail, which is designed to deep clean horse manes and tails, which are thicker and able to withstand harsher cleansing. People with fine, chemically treated hair should steer clear of this sort of product. So effectively you stripped your hair twice, and the vigorous rubbing led to extreme tangling and knotting. My advice would be to, from now on, only use gentle semi permanent hair colour (or steer clear of hair colouring altogether) and use a gentle shampoo and a repairing conditioner.
+MrsSparkles If your gonna have your hair dyed, try not to use mane and tail RIGHT after the process, usually when u dye ur hair ur suppose to just dye it,wash it,tthan put the rinse in ur hair,THATS IT...but basically she did her everyday routine + dyed it, + used a heavy duty shampoo and cream rinse..which was...like the worse decision in the world.
hair dye deposits color, not strips. bleach strips. mane and tail is meant for humans too, it's sold in places like Sally's and there's instructions for humans on it. also, it's not harsher. shampoos are already as harsh as possible. there is also a color treated version of that brand. regular shampoos will strip dye out. anyways, before you try telling someone what they did, make sure you know what the fuck you're talking about.
I have really thick & curly hair, it rains allot here along with allot of wind so I basically get those knots everyday. Just soak in conditioner, detangle with your hands and comb / brush it. :p
Ghoul Veve People can even brush dreads out with the right amount of patience. Use a good detangler , start at the bottom and work your way up gently. For people with a lot of frizz that have hair that tangles back up as soon as you brush the knots out using a straightener can also help. Sure the heat isn't that good but for some letting the heat ''de frizz'' your hair is a lot better then brushing aggressively and breaking off the hair.
That's not a very good beautician if she couldn't even work the knots out. It takes people many hours to comb out their dreadlocks, but it can be done. No meed to cut your hair!
I would put a whole bottle of conditioner in my hair to get those knots out. I will never cut my hair. I'd work for hours on my hair to prevent cutting it.
TigerRose That actually would have worked with her. I have extremely thick curly hair and I get mats much bigger than those on a pretty regular basis and my hair is almost to my waist. Those were nothing and could've been really easily taken care of with a wide toothed comb and some conditioner. She cut her hair for no reason.
I've had this happen before and no she could not have GENTLY brushed it out. It turns into straw and saying knotted is an understatement. It's more like instant dreads....matted together. I don't know why people have to be so opinionated and sarcastic, if it hasn't happened to you how can you know or have an opinion?
AND on top of all of that (I hate to say it but) she totally could have gotten that knot out. xD being a curly girl myself I have had way worse knots, and a lot of conditioner and a wide tooth comb will get out any knot. Also people who have had dreadlocks for over a decade can still get the locks out without cutting it off lol.
I honestly think she's just stupid. When you see your hair is tangled... try and brush it, or put conditioner on it. You don't just go "Oh it's tangled I have to just chop everything off" and Jesus Christ why would you just cut them out yourself? You knew it would look choppy and messed up. It most likely got tangled like that because of the crappy boxed hair dye, and how you were swirling your hair all over your head. Notice how all of the tangles were at the ends of your hair and only on one side, from scrubbing it with a towel and washing it. You never have to scrub your ends, just your scalp.
shark_ queen118 right! mane and tail caused bigger matted hair for me and i didnt chop it off. me and my boyfriend worked on my hair for like an hour. then used coconut oil to help it get healthier. but what works for me doesnt always work for everyone else. i just wouldnt jump to chopping it off lol
KaronaRed21 Right lol, I'm just confused as to what she wanted out of chopping them off, did she not think her hair was going to look awful and all chopped up? If they were going to cut them out should have just went to the salon in the first place. But even there I feel like they would have just brushed them out lol
why would someone dye their hair during a "healthy hair tutorial" unless the hair dye was suppose to give your hair a WAYYY better look than your before and after tutorial. just saying
+madie Solberg but it can be healthier if u do these treatments without dying it. what im trying to say is that shes doing a before and after using her method of treatment without mentioning the hair dye step. making me think wat is she trying to do?
Ciara Green you're only meant to use shampoo on your scalp and do it in circular motions but don't do that with the bottom cause it with knot everything.
I think it's because you used shampoo & conditioner that didn't come with the hair dye kit. You're only supposed to use the conditioner that comes with it. Your hair wasn't cut that short, my hair was that length at the longest it's ever been. My 'Oh crap' moment was when I cut my bangs really short earlier this year. But now it's back to usual.
munchjrr exactly! she really should think before she uses a massive combo. But she is still a really good you tuber and no one is perfect. I am not a hater
I never use the conditioner which comes with the hair dye as it makes my hair look really greasy. I use my regular conditioner every time and luckily have never had any problems.
I have super long hair. Whenever I condition my hair I never scrunch my hair like you did. Scrunching might have caused that to your hair. But you look so cute with your new haircut :)
Umm every single piece of my hair got knotted together. I didn't have to cut any. I just spent hours washing and brushing. I couldn't even separate any single section into 2 pieces and I got it out. What happened to her hair wasn't that bad
1. Main and Tail leaves Wax in your hair, only making it SEEM soft, but actually can clog the cuticle. It good for horses for a reason. They need that wax layer to protect their coats 2. You didn't COMB IN your mask 3. You towel dried 4. You used shampoo IMMEDIATELY after a color 5. Trimming your hair will NOT help it grow faster 6. You probably washed your hair with hot water. (always use cold for at least a week after color) 7. You did NOT consult a professional 8. You had no assistance in coloring your hair 9. You used a NON-COLOR-SAFE shampoo and conditioner And I totally didn't notice this video is almost 3 years old....
Trimming your hair helps your hair grow because it cuts off the split ends. If you leave the split ends your hair will keep splitting and break off resulting in no growth
She should get over it her mom said she had to cut of all her hair and she had like 3 cm cut of so BIG DEAL GLITTERFOREVER17 JUST ANOTHER ATTENTION PIG.
It looked already pretty natted in the wake-up footage plus, mooshing and mashing and crunching your hair when dying it, condtioning, washing, and condtioning and then scrunchin it up in the towel, its gonna turn into a rats nest
She shampooed her hair after dying which you're not ever supposed to do.. You're using harmful chemicals in your hair and shampooing it will just contribute to the damage the hair dye left. Not to mention she bunched her hair up in the shower, tangling it. She brought this onto herself.
Dear, you've scrubbed your hair senseless on top of your head. You should never lift the length of your hair to the top and rub. it knots. You did this with the dye, while the cuticles were wide open, then you did with shampoo, then hair creams. That's why it happened.
that's what I was thinking while watching the video. I just thank god that when I had long hair it was too thin to effectively create knots that bad XD
I don't get this. She's acting like she's just been diagnosed with a terrible illness. all she did wrong was shampooed her hair and she could've brushed her hair and then BOOM hairs completely fine no need to cut it
+Lola Rose she said it changed her life???? Put conditioner in the hair and brush it. Next time she dyes it she shouldn't put on shampoo it even says not to cause it can strip the colour but clearly it did something else. She just stupid 😪
+charlottedunn xo you're right. Plus she but it into a bun while the dye set. It creates to much heat. The only time you do that is when you bleach it to speed the process up. So basically she fried her hair
You don't shampoo your hair after coloring. It's too harsh right after. & you shouldn't gather your hair up unless you're doing a shampoo commercial!! 😜
+nicolekelly7580906 Yeah, 1st time I died my hair I washed it out using shampoo = quite dry/damaged hair. Thankfully my hair isnt even to my shoulders so it didn't mat
Yes crappy boxed colors don't need to be shampooed out as they have a built in detergent in it, says on the box not to shampoo your hair to lather the color then condition. However professional colors do have to be shampooed out.
Yeah 😂 this video doesn't make any sense at all. I've had this happen to me many times and i just put a ton of conditioner on it and brush it out with my hands
The thing is, especially with dark hair on videos, you wouldn't see chemically fried hair. I'm sure she tried to brush it, but she used a lot of products in her hair right after dying it. We also don't know what products she puts in it daily. Its quite possible she fried the ends of her hair.
Thank you so much...I try to stay positive in every situation because everything happens for a reason. I'm happy that I now have a new hair salon to go to! haha!
when you dye hair, the ammonia/developer in the dye blows open your cuticle. drugstore hairdyes have large amounts of developer in them . so after you rinsed your hair, you then went on to wash it with shampoo, which had a pH much higher than what is healthy for the hair. this caused extreme damage to your hair, causing it to lack moisture. then you scrunched it up like that, causing the tangles. the tangles stuck into your hair because of the amount of damage it had in the moment. also, for anyone that is mistaken by what the hair dresser said at the end of the video, cutting your hair every 6-8 weeks will not make it grow any faster or longer.
It won't make it grow faster, but it will help it to be long as you wont have split ends breaking off all the time keeping it short. My hair wont grow past a certain length because I always get split ends that break off the hair once it gets longer. If I trimmed my hair more often I'm sure I would be able to grow (and stay) longer.
+Mia Murray I know. but alot of people may not know that. alot of people just think it literally makes your hair grow. I guess it just bothers me that a hairdresser said that.
Bothered me too. My hair grows long without my trimming it. Trimming it every once in a while would make my hair shorter than it would be without trimming it every once in a while.
It wasn't even that knotted? Are people in America just like that or what? My hair is like that every day 😂 It takes a lot of time to brush out but it's not that hard.
+Nicoleta M please research about how many extremely influential people were from America. It is a very ignorant statement to say that all Americans are stupid just because a couple are lazy and dumb.
This happened to me a few months ago, I had more than 15inches of hair, ready for donation to a Charity, and I was in the shower washing it as I usually do, and it suddenly became matted and dry, and the more I used conditioner, the worse it got, I had to have it all cut off there and then, and I have shoulder length hair now. I looked after my hair daily, and I still to this day do not know why my hair suddenly hated me, maybe it was the change in water type from moving to the midland area! (the pink is a wig)
+KatieKuma FYI we did brush it and I got out a huge chunk of the matted hair, we got it down just enough so I could have a little bit of length. There was literally no saving my hair. I wish there was, I combed for hours and still no luck.
Kathryn Howell howell I am happy with what I look like, I don't hide it. My twitter you see loads of pics of me with my brunette hair. It just became my trademark for my OC and Its fun, I never wear it other than a few pictures, its rare I even wear it! Its like cosplay but instead of a character, its just an online persona you know? :) I embrace my brunette hair and I love it so much! Thats why the wig is just for fun, like I can have any hair colour I like without the commitment
***** I am a hairstylist and shampooing hair after been coloured will not knot it. Lots of people use shampoo when rinsing out colour. It was the fact that she gathered all her hair to the top of her head and then rubbed it in 100 different directions, multiple times. Shampoo has nothing to do with this incident
:o it wasn't the chemicals that dreaded up your hair. It was the way you washed it. When you wash your hair you're supposed to wash at the roots and let the length of your hair fall. Not have it all bunched up on the top of your head. That's what made all the tangles. You put so much stuff in your hair and were just mushing it and tangling it on your head. If you had went to the salon before cutting your hair they could have saved it. Or you could have done it yourself with the help of some kind of oil. Ive helped a friend in beauty school who had a client who came in with extremely matted hair and we were able to save it. It just took a long time to get all the matted hair untangled.
+lollsazz it does, it keeps your hair healthy and encourages growth, I cut off all my split ends and got it trimmed every couple weeks and it grew very long
1animals12 IT DOES NOT encourage growth - that's logical. Your hair is dead - it doesn't signal "someone cut me, quick, grow!" -_- The only thing cutting does is make the hair healthier at the ends, which prevents it from splitting more and eventually breaking off. If you don't have very damaged hair, cutting it that often won't do anything for you. That your hair grew faster was either 1) something you immagined 2) caused by something else than cutting it or 3) you had extremely damaged hair, so that it broke off faster than it grew when you didn't cut it
You don't need to be a hair dresser to know this, and apparently, a lot of hair dressers don't understandhow the human body, works. It's not "my opinion", it's biology, and it's the truth either you like it or not
It does help. if you have a lot of damaged hair on the tips of your hair, it will stop growing. so trimming off the dead/damaged ends will help it grow. :)
"You never really realize how much your life can change in one second, minute, hour, or even day." Darling, you got a couple inches of hair cut off. Your life didn't change. Get over yourself.
my cousin when we were like 5 she tried to curl her hair with a comb and it was stuck and she cried really really really loud,,.but we didnt cut her hair cus it was short
Miss Squish maybe she should get her own home. she's a grown-ass adult. it's not like shes in college, or working 24/7 and never home to make enough to buy an apartment/ house. she doesn't even seem to have much of a life anyway, not surprised. like my dad said, me & my brother can't just live at home after college unless it's for a desperate reason, he wants us to understand life with paying for your own taxes, food, bills, etc. she's never lived in a house by herself, and what I don't understand is why she hasn't. she has a fiance who probably makes money, plus she makes enough off TH-cam, so why can't she move out? who knows, maybe because she can't get her ass into the real world.
Instead of scrunching your hair up into a bun (increasing tangles) I find it better to use a big croc clip and just pin it up til whatevers in it needs rinsed.
Jessica Ayrea No it really doesn't help the hair dye. I have dyed my hair many many times and at first I scrunched it and it got tangled. Also I have never scrunched up my hair after that and the dying went perfectly fine.
If you'd left your hair and gone straight to the salon you probably could have saved a lot more of your length. Sounds like a chemical mix caused extreme dryness. If you have coloured your hair any time in the last 5 or 6 years you probably had some kind of residue from a previous dye. Having had a run in with bleach and a salty box dye from 4 years previous (bad bad hot smoking reaction with burning ends!) it could have been a reaction. I've also seen it happen with previous henna applications and years later box dyes over the top, because henna NEVER comes out. On the plus side, your hair looks in much better condition now.
I don't know why you would shampoo your hair after dying it the instructions tell you to rinse with water and use the conditioner that's it.... it was most likely the mane and tail shampoo that tangled my hair but I haven't used it since coloring my hair...
janice moore i've used a few different hair dyes and they all say the same thing rinse and use the conditioner and i've used mane and tail and it tangles on its own
When I was younger, I got a hair elastic stuck in my hair, and I got so angry and annoyed trying to get it out, so I cut a big chunk out of my hair, to get it out, then my mum found out, and freaked, then I got a under cut, which was so ugly on me, so yeah that was a bad hair moment of mine.
Mane and Tail is actually very beneficial for people with curly/rough/thick hair. It does say on the back that it is for humans as well. I used the duo for about 10 years and it made my hair very strong. What you did wrong was..well...hair dye in and of itself strips your hair like crazy (no matter the color) due to the countless incomprehensible ingredients in it. You aren't even supposed to dye your hair until it's been dirty/oily for a few days so it can balance out. Using shampoo on your hair while washing it out just adds fuel to the fire. Mane and Tail shampoo has sulfates in it...which in turn, dries out your hair even more. Next time you decide to color your hair, make sure to wash your hair differently than you do ritually. 1: make sure your hair is oily beforehand. 2: NEVER use shampoo when washing the color out...only the conditioner provided in the box.. nothing else. 3: Don't use all the other products during that shower (macadamia oil, etc) even though none of those dry out your hair, it can still be counterproductive to the color job. 4: Don't wash your hair the day after the dye job. Allow the natural oils in your scalp to produce again..to soften up your hair again.. THEN you can proceed to take a regular shower...shampoo and all.
So you've had trouble finding certain things huh cheezus crust? Don't worry because the worst wicked ones won't have any trouble finding the lake of fire and sulphur which is fast coming to them, Zephaniah1:14-18* Revelation19:20*20:7-10 adios amigos,Proverbs1:26
Sorry but you should always shampoo permanent haircolor out of the hair. The chemicals needs to be shampooed off of the scalp and the lengths of the hair. It causes no extra damage or stress to the hair if done properly.
When my hair gets knotted like that I just go back into the shower and put in a handful of conditioner and work it threw. I'd never just chip it off but your hair still looks great!
i hate that hair dresses say to get your hair cut every 6 - 8 weeks, it doesnt help your hair grow doing that, it just stops you getting split ends and makes them more money.
it help because when you cut your hair (a little bit) it refresh your scalp to grow new hair and it start to grow new hair fast i cut my hair every 8 weeks and my hair is super long!! and i grow my hair only in a year!! try it for a year it really help...
criticalbuttons That's actually an urban myth. Your hair grows from the scalp that's the only actual living part of your hair. The ends of your hair is dead so doing anything to them has no effect on the scalp. However the reason you should get your hair cut every 6-8 weeks is to take care of your split ends which encourages breakage in your hair and that breakage can go well past the ends making your hair shorter and less full. So while technically no cutting your hair dose not make it grow longer. It does however prevent it from breaking making it shorter and it looks much better when it's not thinned out from the breakage at the ends.
Lightbulb moment! This is fake. She intended to get her hair cut. Otherwise why is she filming herself dyeing her hair in the shower? She wouldn't know in advance that a 'disaster' would happen. This vid got the reaction she wanted. The so-called tangles are no worse than those which normally occur when washing long thick hair, especially if extra roughness is used.
LInk04871 That doesn't make sense. Why is she videoing herself dyeing her hair in the first place? I don't get out the camera everytime I colour my hair!
+muskndusk has a point, guys. breland said she was filming a video on how to get long hair.. dying your hair doesn't promote hair growth so why would she include something so irrelevant?
Theodore/Lisa Flätskog You may like having short hair but other people including myself prefer long hair on themselves and it takes months to grow out your hair so if something ruins it where you cut it all off, it could be upsetting if you've worked on achieving long hair for a long period of time
¢нℓσє ρяι¢є I hated when I had my hair long and then had to cut it. Girls spend time everyday of every week taking care of it. It's almost like our baby.
Well a little while back I wanted my hair bleached so bad because I wanted to be a blonde for the summer. So I went to my salon and i said bleach it, she put all the bleach in and all that good stuff and put a bag on my head and put me under the heater/hair dryer (I wasn't sure if she was supposed to put me under the heater anyway) and it was extremely hot and it honestly burned and i told the girl and she said thats what is was supposed to be. So minutes pass and I'm not sure if i passed out or i just blacked out (cause i don't remember the point leading up to this) i jolted awake and the bleach had liquified and gotten very very hot and it burned about a third of my scalp and my right ear (2nd degree burns) and they got me out of the chair and under the water and washed it all out and i went home screaming and crying (i am 14 so yeah i was gonna go a little crazy) and my friend came over with aloe and i stood under the shower so cold water would fall on the burns but over time it got used to it and it didn't sooth anymore it just hurt so my mom gave me a bunch of medicine and gave me an ice pack and it went to sleep. When I woke up my best friend (bless her) was still there and I was high on pain medication and my mom came in and (luckily) it didn't hurt at all anymore and I looked good so we went to movies. the end.
It's because you pile all of your hair on your head & the hair dye dries it out so you piling it on top it gets knotted. Also you're not supposed to use shampoo or conditioner on your hair after you dye it
Exactly what they said. Don't wash your hair after dyeing it and don't pile your hair on top of your head like that whilst wash as thats how it gets knotted. I'd also probably brush it through with a wet brush after out the shower before piling it on top of your head and putting it in a wrap and then you can dry it after like you did
I totally just cut of like all of my hair today yay but btw it went wrong because you are not supposed to use other products after dying your hair only use what's included in the box correct me if I'm wrong
Oh dear, you really didn't need to cut your hair. My hair is about as long as yours (was) and it looks thick but really I just have alot of very fine stranded hair therefore I am a victim of very tedious natural occurring knots (just from sleeping with my hair down actually). I went to an outdoor concert recently in the pouring hair. Due to it being wet and all the friction of people moshing around me for 6 hours by the time I got home the back portion of my hair was matted (more so than how yours appeared). The key is patience and a comb. Pick up the ends of your hair and gently brush the ends with a comb and slowly, SLOWLY! work your way up. Always untangle the ends before moving up the hair shaft. When you brush from root to end (with every hair type) you give yourself split end and when you try to yank a brush down from your roots your hair will snap and/or pull out the follicle itself. Sit down, put on a movie, relax and slowly detangle, also make sure you Take Your Time!
1:06 By the way hair is more stringy and prone to tangling when freshly dyed because the chemicals weaken the hair. Going to say theres a 90% chance the reason your hair matted was because of the messy way you starting scrubbing and scrunching it together on top of your head like that right after the dye came out.
I didn't wear it down or anything I had it all tired up but just from getting pushed and pulled around in general (being that my head is essentially chest height for everyone else), the weight of the water in my hair it came loose in the end so I just took it out. Keep in mind I didn't jump into a mosh pit to worry about my hair. For that band, hands down would do it again :)
Jessica Miller Hair is a big part of a girl's life, boys too. It can seriously change a person's look and a lot of people obviously care about their hair a lot and want to take good care of it. I myself would have freaked out too because that was some damaged hair and dramatically changing your hair like that is a big thing to people! So no. Its not "just hair".
My hair is over 4 feet and has been way way worse from Dutch braids I had in for almost a week plus swimming at a hotel. It just takes a little patience and some brushing.
Don't shampoo and condition after dying it. Only use the conditioner the box provides and THATS IT. Then wait at least 2 days before washing it again. When you dye your hair and use the chemicals it dries it out so by shampooing it again which strips the oils, you made it even more dry which caused the tangles to be so severe.
Massaging the shampoo into your hair like that. You shouldn't really massaging it in that harshly. You can massage your SCALP with your fingertips but not with your hair on top of your head like that. That's probably what made it tangled.
I used to had really long hair, and one night I thought if I put all my hair around a hair band it would make it have waves. But when I woke up it was all messed up and I almost missed the school bus, so i had to put my good over that mess and when I got to school a bunch of teachers tried to help and I was 20 minutes late to class and it still didn’t help, so they just put it in a bun. Then when I got home my aunt took a hour trying to get it out, then I got a LOT of hair cut out. By the way you new hair cut looks AMAZING!!!! You are the best, Breland!
my thoughts exactly. I have super thick and wavy hair, and my hair has gotten matted a thousand times worse than hers. never have I once had to cut it off from that.
It wasn't the color at all, it was the way you were scrubbing your hair and applying product. You should avoid bringing the length of your hair up to your scalp to scrub. If you need to clean the length simply use more shampoo and apply it to the length alone. Because you brought the hair up and were scrubbing, it caused the hair to mesh together, forming the knots. It was also probably influenced by the fact that your hair is naturally curly making it more likely to coil around itself when forming the curls. If anything, the color only contributed to it a small amount because it can tend to dry hair out. Source: I'm a cosmetologist.
My dad brushed my hair for 3 hours once, my hair mats were way worse than hers. My hair is 2 feet long and I haven’t cut it since 2d grade. I’m in 6th now and I dye my hair all the time. My hair looks like Hers every few days because I swim.
Some people are so ungrateful she had a super long hair and she was complaining about losing a couple inches my hair is above my ears and I'm thankful for that because I know people some people are bald or they can't grow their hair at all. It just upsets me about how ungrateful people can be
She's not necessarily being ungrateful. When a person is used to having long hair it can become like a security blanket and when an item like that is taken from someone it can sometimes be traumatic. Bre was not acting traumatized at all, she was just surprised by what happened and she even pointed out the humor and irony of it all.
Sophie de Leeuw It's also for people. When I had my horse, I would wash her mane and tail (lol) with it as well. But I see it in walgreens and target and places like that as well. It must work so well on horses that they must have a smiliar formula for humans.
Mum:What Did You Rinse It Out With
Brelend:Water
Me:Dead
Iris Guedelha Breland**
Snowman 13 so its a typo
😂
Lol
What did you rinse your hair with??? "Water??"😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kyanna Webber lol
Lolololol
Lol
yes i have
lol
• shouldn't have scrunched your hair up in the shower.
• shouldn't have used the mask.
• shouldn't have put shampoo in it. It specifically says that on the box...
Just shut up
Aubrin Shea Well, she did ask...
@@aubrinshea8932 you mad
First off, your hair didn't look that healthy to begin with. It looked knotted and tangled. Second, before you dye your hair it's recommended that you get some dead ends off before doing it. Third, you shouldn't use anything else in your hair besides what's in your hair dying box!
Ariana wrong u dumb idiot she did every thing I had a dread lock before and guess what every girl gets one under stand!
what is this argument about
Ariana yes thats what I was thinking it's common sense
Do u think I fucking care I dyed my hair ginger red with the same dye stuff she uses with my other stuff and actually why say her hair is in heathy she really just woke up and when she did look like she had good hair it was a different place so it was just probably a dread lock
oh my god
She said that her life "completely changed", because she got a trim?
and this bitch is in her 30's!
There is a reason why it says "After, rinse hair with the PROVIDED CONDITIONER"
A FOOT? PUHLEASE. I'm 13 and I've donated my hair 4 times.
Get over it.
that made me so mad. im 14 and i cut off 2 feet of my hair and it wasnt even that big of a deal.
+DelanehTehKitteh :3
I DID THE SAME THING WHEN I WAS 12! 13 now.
+DelanehTehKitteh :3 I hated it, but it didn't ruin my life.
I've bleached my hair a lot and I've never had to cut my hair even if it's been tangled could she not have soaked it in conditioner and coconut oil and gently gotten out the knot ???
thats excatly what i was thinking
Lillian thats what I use to do when I had hot pink and blue hair.
If they put 30 volume developer in hair color nobody would have any hair left! lol we'd all be bald.
brass bullets thats the stupidest answer I've ever heard lol no offense
That makes sense to me
+MrsSparkles If your gonna have your hair dyed, try not to use mane and tail RIGHT after the process, usually when u dye ur hair ur suppose to just dye it,wash it,tthan put the rinse in ur hair,THATS IT...but basically she did her everyday routine + dyed it, + used a heavy duty shampoo and cream rinse..which was...like the worse decision in the world.
+MrsSparkles 100% it was defiantly the Man & Tail , plus her dying her hair and shampooing it RIGHT afterwards is sooo damaging
Yeah she pulled all her hair to the top of her head while shampooing which probably helped cause the matts.
hair dye deposits color, not strips. bleach strips.
mane and tail is meant for humans too, it's sold in places like Sally's and there's instructions for humans on it. also, it's not harsher. shampoos are already as harsh as possible. there is also a color treated version of that brand. regular shampoos will strip dye out.
anyways, before you try telling someone what they did, make sure you know what the fuck you're talking about.
I get knotts like that everyday. Just use a brush, jesus.
I have really thick & curly hair, it rains allot here along with allot of wind so I basically get those knots everyday. Just soak in conditioner, detangle with your hands and comb / brush it. :p
Lmao sometimes you can't brush the knots out
Ghoul Veve People can even brush dreads out with the right amount of patience.
It takes a lot of patience
I would put a whole bottle of conditioner in my hair to get those knots out. I will never cut my hair. I'd work for hours on my hair to prevent cutting it.
Same!
TigerRose Same
TigerRose same
Hi
TigerRose That actually would have worked with her. I have extremely thick curly hair and I get mats much bigger than those on a pretty regular basis and my hair is almost to my waist. Those were nothing and could've been really easily taken care of with a wide toothed comb and some conditioner. She cut her hair for no reason.
She literally could've gently brushed it out
ikr
Amelia Shipley yh hat happened to me 😂😂I just brushed
yeah
Amelia Shipley Y E S
I've had this happen before and no she could not have GENTLY brushed it out. It turns into straw and saying knotted is an understatement. It's more like instant dreads....matted together. I don't know why people have to be so opinionated and sarcastic, if it hasn't happened to you how can you know or have an opinion?
Just brush it. My hair is super thick and wavy and I've had matts worse than that. It just takes time. 🙄
Exactly
Love da profile pic !! 😍 Mikey Clifford
Same
+Bestchickaround OF MSP mikeyy
+Alex King exactly! She didn't have to go to the hair salon.
SHORT HAIR?! I have a fuxking pixie cut!!
I have a pixie cut with one side shaved....now that's short
my hair is about 2 inches past my shoulders and I consider it long 😂😂😂
I have a pixie cut as well, and I consider anything that's able to get tied in a ponytail long...
same, I also have a pixie cut. Did you also donate it or no?
I have a long bob
I was literally cringing watching you rub it and scrunch it into a knot with dye on it and then shampoo you liturally scrubbed it into a knot
Same! It was just way to much chemicals for your hair all at once.
Agree!!
same
AND on top of all of that (I hate to say it but) she totally could have gotten that knot out. xD being a curly girl myself I have had way worse knots, and a lot of conditioner and a wide tooth comb will get out any knot. Also people who have had dreadlocks for over a decade can still get the locks out without cutting it off lol.
***** I was about to comment the same thing. She could have easily gotten those knots out with a lot of slip and a wide tooth comb.
If her hair got tangled then why didn't she just brush it
idk if you have ever had dreads but brushing one short one out takes roughly 1 hour.
Allyson Lopez Tagled idiot
Pink Sparks21 actually you're the idiot because it is tangled not tagled learn how to spell properly before you comment stuff mate
Allyson Lopez it was knotted not tangled its a bit different curly hair is hard to brush when tangled and you can also break your hair easily
I have super thick and kind of long wavy hair. It is difficult to get knots out but dumping a lot of conditioner on should have worked fine.
You're right. She's just stupid.
shark_ queen118 Totally agree.
+
shark_ queen118 right! mane and tail caused bigger matted hair for me and i didnt chop it off. me and my boyfriend worked on my hair for like an hour. then used coconut oil to help it get healthier. but what works for me doesnt always work for everyone else. i just wouldnt jump to chopping it off lol
KaronaRed21 Right lol, I'm just confused as to what she wanted out of chopping them off, did she not think her hair was going to look awful and all chopped up? If they were going to cut them out should have just went to the salon in the first place. But even there I feel like they would have just brushed them out lol
why would someone dye their hair during a "healthy hair tutorial" unless the hair dye was suppose to give your hair a WAYYY better look than your before and after tutorial. just saying
give your hair a way better n healthier look*
lol ikr
your hair can still be healthy when you dye it. i should know, i dye mine regularly and it's healthy as ever.
+madie Solberg but it can be healthier if u do these treatments without dying it. what im trying to say is that shes doing a before and after using her method of treatment without mentioning the hair dye step. making me think wat is she trying to do?
How is it healthy if she uses hair dye at all honestly
You aren't supposed to wash your hair on top of your hair. Since you washed it in circles that's why everyone gets knots when it starts to dry!
I do my hair like that...how is it supposed to be ;-;
Ciara Green you're only meant to use shampoo on your scalp and do it in circular motions but don't do that with the bottom cause it with knot everything.
it's ugly
Estefani Reyes SHUT UP
Someones fragile
I think it's because you used shampoo & conditioner that didn't come with the hair dye kit. You're only supposed to use the conditioner that comes with it. Your hair wasn't cut that short, my hair was that length at the longest it's ever been. My 'Oh crap' moment was when I cut my bangs really short earlier this year. But now it's back to usual.
munchjrr exactly! she really should think before she uses a massive combo. But she is still a really good you tuber and no one is perfect. I am not a hater
I never use the conditioner which comes with the hair dye as it makes my hair look really greasy. I use my regular conditioner every time and luckily have never had any problems.
munchjrr 8
:(
munchjrr can u NOT be hating
I have super long hair. Whenever I condition my hair I never scrunch my hair like you did. Scrunching might have caused that to your hair.
But you look so cute with your new haircut :)
Thank you so much Stacey...Maybe so :)
I think she looks pretty too.
Stacey Castanha I don’t think that’s why. I do that sometimes
Umm every single piece of my hair got knotted together. I didn't have to cut any. I just spent hours washing and brushing. I couldn't even separate any single section into 2 pieces and I got it out. What happened to her hair wasn't that bad
i have that large penguin beany boo that you have in your pic
Random Person ya it wasn't that tangled
Random Person ya there's me every morning 😂😂😂😂
Why do you use horse shampoo and conditioner? I use that on my horse to get poop stains out his tail...
LMAAAOOOOOO!!
It makes your hair grow faster
Yes but if you read the back of the bottle it has instructions for human use too.
***** i was about to comment the same thing
***** seems odd but many girls use this on their hair.
1. Main and Tail leaves Wax in your hair, only making it SEEM soft, but actually can clog the cuticle. It good for horses for a reason. They need that wax layer to protect their coats
2. You didn't COMB IN your mask
3. You towel dried
4. You used shampoo IMMEDIATELY after a color
5. Trimming your hair will NOT help it grow faster
6. You probably washed your hair with hot water. (always use cold for at least a week after color)
7. You did NOT consult a professional
8. You had no assistance in coloring your hair
9. You used a NON-COLOR-SAFE shampoo and conditioner
And I totally didn't notice this video is almost 3 years old....
Alexandria Crayne h
Trimming your hair helps your hair grow because it cuts off the split ends. If you leave the split ends your hair will keep splitting and break off resulting in no growth
You don't have to use cold water with every dye
I feel like this is what a girl from Toddlers and Tiaras grows up to be like
+justwanttowatchvideos I kinda thought the same thing....
Oml yes
+Sabby Boo Boo me too haha
the accuracy😂
yes !!! her voice is annoying too
It's not even short.
Ikr
People have different definitions of short and this was short to her. My hair is about mid back and this is the shortest its been in years.
My friends hair is probably about that long and she has about the longest hair maybe in MY WHOLE GRADE! I'm agreeing with you
I know I cut my hair shorter
She should get over it her mom said she had to cut of all her hair and she had like 3 cm cut of so BIG DEAL GLITTERFOREVER17 JUST ANOTHER ATTENTION PIG.
It looked already pretty natted in the wake-up footage plus, mooshing and mashing and crunching your hair when dying it, condtioning, washing, and condtioning and then scrunchin it up in the towel, its gonna turn into a rats nest
When i'm putting conditioner in my hair, I always brush it while showering so I don't have knots when it dries
Really...? Me too but i do it to not have the knotts in my hair hurt as much because conditioner makes it nice and smooth
Yeah exactly me too
Shanice Willems same
Really? Thats unhealthy i promise
She could've just covered her hair in conditioner them brushed it out
Yeah that's what I would've done 😂
+Sianna “Chachadiva” Suarez
Me too 😂 I'd much rather go through that pain then spend a bunch of money at the salon.
I did that when it happened to me and after my hair was soooo so soft, Softer than it's ever been but it got really oily bc i used all my conditioner
Alyssa Kittrell ye
Alyssa Kittrell thats better than broken
She shampooed her hair after dying which you're not ever supposed to do.. You're using harmful chemicals in your hair and shampooing it will just contribute to the damage the hair dye left. Not to mention she bunched her hair up in the shower, tangling it. She brought this onto herself.
Yes, yes she did!
yes she did
I know that's what I thought
The same
I always shampoo my hair after dying it, or nowadays after bleaching and my hair has always been fine. Her problem was the bunching up part.
Dear, you've scrubbed your hair senseless on top of your head. You should never lift the length of your hair to the top and rub. it knots. You did this with the dye, while the cuticles were wide open, then you did with shampoo, then hair creams. That's why it happened.
I think you are right.
that sounds right
that's what I was thinking while watching the video. I just thank god that when I had long hair it was too thin to effectively create knots that bad XD
lmao before this video started i got a hair ad about how much people loved their hair ._.
Iona McMurray f u
The candy girl y did u write that?!
The candy girl yay exacly like y u gotta hate
Iona McMurray what a coincidence ka-when-sa-dence 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😶🤐🤐
Iona McMurray same
It was probably the hair dye mixed with the shampoo
it's the way she ratted up her hair.
+hospitalcakewalk no it's not
Shanese Williams Yes, it is. She did this to herself, it wasn't anything she put in it. It was the way she ratted it up onto her head.
+hospitalcakewalk yes it is because when she put the conditioner in she scrunched it up.
+hospitalcakewalk no its not cause you wrapped it out its because of the shampoo lol.
I don't get this. She's acting like she's just been diagnosed with a terrible illness. all she did wrong was shampooed her hair and she could've brushed her hair and then BOOM hairs completely fine no need to cut it
No
+Brooke Marbell yes
Nah man. You is wrong.
you can shampoo it just with special shampoo that is realy soft
+nicolekelly7580906 Yeah, 1st time I died my hair I washed it out using shampoo = quite dry/damaged hair. Thankfully my hair isnt even to my shoulders so it didn't mat
Yes crappy boxed colors don't need to be shampooed out as they have a built in detergent in it, says on the box not to shampoo your hair to lather the color then condition.
However professional colors do have to be shampooed out.
true
She also used a hair mask, so there was probably some sort of chemical reaction!
what did you rinse it with?
uhh water😂😂😂😂😂😂
sooo you didnt think to try and brush it? or comb it? like your first instinct was to cut it off? okay then..
Pretty sure she tried.. 😂
Yeah 😂 this video doesn't make any sense at all. I've had this happen to me many times and i just put a ton of conditioner on it and brush it out with my hands
I am sure she tried to brush it. But with those mats, nothing would remove those but scissors.
beautyml she said at 2:30 "i went to brush my hair" so clearly she started brushing it and it wouldn't work so she needed to get it cut.
The thing is, especially with dark hair on videos, you wouldn't see chemically fried hair. I'm sure she tried to brush it, but she used a lot of products in her hair right after dying it. We also don't know what products she puts in it daily. Its quite possible she fried the ends of her hair.
i just love how you stay so positive through the whole thing! it really says a lot about your character. as a new subscriber its nice to see!
My oh crap moment is when I was doing my nails and spilled it on my carpet I still have the blue stain
f u
Banana Panda 🐸🐸
Banana Panda I did the same but it was red nail polish
Victoria Davis ur mean
I spilled nail Polish on my pillow and my mom still doesn't know about it
I hate that horse shampoo. I've tried it in my hair once and it strips every bit of moisture away from your hair.
It helps mine, but I also have extremely oily hair.
That happened to me too. Now I use the mane and tail shampoo with a coconut conditioner to moisturize afterwards. It seemed to help the dryness
I'm a horseback rider and I use the same shampoo on horse tails😂 That's why they call it Mane n' Tail😂
+Hannah Smith it said on the bottle for animal or human use
+Hannah Goodson same.
I like seeing her act like a real person
same
Me too
most mixing I am fine👅
"what did you rinse it out with"
"water..."

Roses are red violets are blue I just got clickbaited and so did u
Avery Estephan yep
no she did cut her hair duhh can u not see
I know.
Avery Estephan OHHHHHH SHE JUST GOT BURNED
Dream Girl MSP it's no click bait she had to cut her hair because it was a fail so um Rose are red stfu and search up the definition of click bait 😊😊
It wasn't even that knotted? Are people in America just like that or what? My hair is like that every day 😂 It takes a lot of time to brush out but it's not that hard.
+Nicoleta M why are you throwing shade at Americans. Not all Americans are stupid ok.
I'm thinking the same lol.
just needs a lot more deep conditioner, a little bit of hair oil and a good brush... not a haircut. wtf
+Nicoleta M please research about how many extremely influential people were from America. It is a very ignorant statement to say that all Americans are stupid just because a couple are lazy and dumb.
I know! My hair gets so knotted but I'm American so I think she's just being dramatic.
I from America and I didn't think it was knotted. I guess it's just the type of person and their hair type.
"What did you rinse your hair with?"
"Water"
Lmfao ilysm
Lmao 😂😂she was making a "how to grow out long healthy hair video "and the hair dresser at 5:33 was like "she had some split ends here" 😂😂😂
Her hair is not short at the end.. it actually looks much much better
***** UK
Why would you have a wig in ur pic? U should be happy of what u look like and you don't need to cover up anything!--
Kathryn Howell howell I am happy with what I look like, I don't hide it. My twitter you see loads of pics of me with my brunette hair. It just became my trademark for my OC and Its fun, I never wear it other than a few pictures, its rare I even wear it! Its like cosplay but instead of a character, its just an online persona you know? :)
I embrace my brunette hair and I love it so much! Thats why the wig is just for fun, like I can have any hair colour I like without the commitment
+Kathryn Howell howell She can do whatever she wants it's her hair and her body. why is it your business?
You don't wash your hair after you color it for at least one day. Your hair was in shock.
she needed to rinse the dye out tho....
hypedaqua
Keyword being "rinse", not "shampoo".
hypedaqua rinse the color out, and put their after color conditioner in, yes. She did both, then shampooed and conditioned her hair right after.
I don't know if this is cos I get it lightened, but my hairdresser always shampoo's my hair after dying :/ x
***** I am a hairstylist and shampooing hair after been coloured will not knot it. Lots of people use shampoo when rinsing out colour. It was the fact that she gathered all her hair to the top of her head and then rubbed it in 100 different directions, multiple times. Shampoo has nothing to do with this incident
your not supposed to use any other hair stuff after you die it and then wash it out.
Dye*
yes you only use the conditioner that comes with the dye
+Audrey Hartman Yeah and only the conditioner
She may have used warm water to rinse the dye out instead of cold water
exactly
ummmm!!! your teeth kinda looks creepy
Najla Mohammad braces is what she has
Najla Mohammad duhhh she has braces on the bottom and a retainer on her bottom teeth
heather figg I know but it kinda looks creepy
Najla Mohammad ummmm!!! YO FACE KINDA LOOKS CREEPY!
I thought that lol
Hannah doesn't know much, does she? Cutting your hair as often as every 6-8 weks is NOT going to make it longer...
That your hair grew faster was either 1) something you immagined 2) caused by something else than cutting it or 3) you had extremely damaged hair, so that it broke off faster than it grew when you didn't cut it
Well that's your opinion, I believe it did help with growth. My hair wasn't damaged, I just cut all the split ends off. Are you a hairdresser?
You don't need to be a hair dresser to know this, and apparently, a lot of hair dressers don't understandhow the human body, works. It's not "my opinion", it's biology, and it's the truth either you like it or not
It does help. if you have a lot of damaged hair on the tips of your hair, it will stop growing. so trimming off the dead/damaged ends will help it grow. :)
"You never really realize how much your life can change in one second, minute, hour, or even day." Darling, you got a couple inches of hair cut off. Your life didn't change. Get over yourself.
"Extremely, extremely knotted, dude it's like one knot. My hair is like that everyday hahha
Once I tried curling my hair with a comb and the comb got stuck and I had to get my hair trimed a little
omg same
OMG SAME! I thot i was the only one lol
Lool this also happened to me, I was about four.
my cousin when we were like 5 she tried to curl her hair with a comb and it was stuck and she cried really really really loud,,.but we didnt cut her hair cus it was short
Same. I ended up having to rip it. 😁😳
"we all yell for our mommy's" well except you're how old in this..? oh yeah 27-28
ur never too old for your mom
+abcdefghijklmnop qrstuvwxyz the fact that she still lives with her mom around that age must tell you something
You don't know if she lives with her mom, she might have been visiting. Even if she does live with her, so what?

Scrunching your hair helps the product get in better, the die made the knot
Jessica Ayrea No it really doesn't help the hair dye. I have dyed my hair many many times and at first I scrunched it and it got tangled. Also I have never scrunched up my hair after that and the dying went perfectly fine.
Jessica Ayrea that isn't true.
Maybe because you used the shampoo after the die
Stephen and Kristen dye*
some hair color products tell you to shampoo your hair after dying it to stop the hair from swelling and the texture will go back to normal

she said you wake up in the morning
then I said you dab
Yassss😂😂😂
Me to I was think that😂😂😂😂😂
Lol that's what I was thinking to 😂😂😂😂
I thought I was the only one
Omg yes I did
If you'd left your hair and gone straight to the salon you probably could have saved a lot more of your length.
Well she said she used the instructions on the boxes
So maybe it didnt say that
janice moore i've used a few different hair dyes and they all say the same thing rinse and use the conditioner and i've used mane and tail and it tangles on its own
Oh well maybe she didnt follow the instructions
Oh u dont have to get smart but whatever
Ur supost to use shampoo what kind of hair dye do u use that was a stupid hair dye
Watermelon 101 n
"What did you rinse it out with?"
"Water!"
Noooooo you dont say????
Hahaha that made my day
Mane and Tail is actually very beneficial for people with curly/rough/thick hair.
That's i did
"i wanted to dye my hair for a fun new change" you literally dyed your hair the same colour it was before
I admire your grace and poise in this situation. I would have been in tears and punching the walls!
i hate that hair dresses say to get your hair cut every 6 - 8 weeks, it doesnt help your hair grow doing that, it just stops you getting split ends and makes them more money.
Yeah. The same for me :D
j
it help because when you cut your hair (a little bit) it refresh your scalp to grow new hair and it start to grow new hair fast i cut my hair every 8 weeks and my hair is super long!! and i grow my hair only in a year!! try it for a year it really help...
criticalbuttons That's actually an urban myth.
Oh snap. You're right. thanks for correcting me
Lightbulb moment!
She did a voice over
LInk04871
That doesn't make sense. Why is she videoing herself dyeing her hair in the first place? I don't get out the camera everytime I colour my hair!
+muskndusk remember? Because she spent all morning filming. Sure it was a fail, but she wanted to make sure no one else made the same mistake.
+muskndusk Because people do that on youtube????? This was a really bad conspiracy theory like wat even.
+muskndusk has a point, guys. breland said she was filming a video on how to get long hair.. dying your hair doesn't promote hair growth so why would she include something so irrelevant?
I brushed through nots like that and my hair was fine 😹
Monnicaa same.
Girls cry over getting a little bit of their hair cut I am over here like " I have a pixie cut..
Ishika Ramzan i love it ^^
Theodore/Lisa Flätskog You may like having short hair but other people including myself prefer long hair on themselves and it takes months to grow out your hair so if something ruins it where you cut it all off, it could be upsetting if you've worked on achieving long hair for a long period of time
¢нℓσє ρяι¢є I hated when I had my hair long and then had to cut it. Girls spend time everyday of every week taking care of it. It's almost like our baby.
A month ago I had hair to my boobs and then i wanted to cut it to my shoulders, some of my classmates where like... Screaming...
KitCat Gaming hahaha
When I woke up my best friend (bless her) was still there and I was high on pain medication and my mom came in and (luckily) it didn't hurt at all anymore and I looked good so we went to movies.
the end.
What a beautiful story .
omg I love your picture
i can feel your pain by looking at your icon
+Sl1m121 lol
+lilloca bridget (bri) ikr? I would do the sameee
It's because you pile all of your hair on your head & the hair dye dries it out so you piling it on top it gets knotted. Also you're not supposed to use shampoo or conditioner on your hair after you dye it
Yup! Also don't bunch up your hair like that. Put all your hair to one side and wash it out like that :)
Exactly what they said. Don't wash your hair after dyeing it and don't pile your hair on top of your head like that whilst wash as thats how it gets knotted. I'd also probably brush it through with a wet brush after out the shower before piling it on top of your head and putting it in a wrap and then you can dry it after like you did
After you went to the salon it looks so gorgeous shorter hair doesn't look bad on you
I totally just cut of like all of my hair today yay but btw it went wrong because you are not supposed to use other products after dying your hair only use what's included in the box correct me if I'm wrong
+Amber Dann true and it also doesn't help that she used horse shampoo....
+Emma Baker yea horse shampoo was not a good idea
Amber Dann it's too harsh for people 😂
the things from the box + a realy soft shampoo en you dab it a bit dry and than let the air do the rest (expirience)
Well I mostly don't even use what's in the box (except for the dye of course) and my hair is completely fine
***** i agree with everything you said!
I have the same type of hair like if I am out on a windy day my hair gets really knotted
Very true ! It's much better to comb your hair going down up.
I would have not reacted that calmly. I would literally have a melt down
It's just hair.
Jessica Miller
Hair is a big part of a girl's life, boys too. It can seriously change a person's look and a lot of people obviously care about their hair a lot and want to take good care of it. I myself would have freaked out too because that was some damaged hair and dramatically changing your hair like that is a big thing to people! So no. Its not "just hair".
Meh
Still grows
Some people's hair grows very, very slowly. And you have to live with your hair like that for a while.
When i was little i cut the hair of my bff... She had scissors in her room, not a smart idea of her mom xD
I DID THE SAME THING
Me too, except it was in a preschool wity like 50 children like, grownups really
+Tamara Kers (Cherrywithstyle) I actually cut off my own hair as a kid. Mom saw and promptly kicked my ass! :)
I was at nursery with two bunches of hair done up my hair was very long and someone came up to me and cut them right off
Same 😂
I used to had really long hair, and one night I thought if I put all my hair around a hair band it would make it have waves.
She kinda looks like Gretchen Wieners from Mean Girls....
But uglier
That is an awful thing to comment.
leahragdoll lol
+Jane Doe true tho
Yessssssssss❤️
brush it -.- my hair is curlying naturally and gets. tanglef wayyyyyyyy worse then yours just use conditioner and brush it out
curlyer**
That's what I was thinking the whole time.
her hair was matted not just tangled. if you have a dog per say and his hair has ever gotten matted its basically impossible to get out the matts.
Exactly what I was thinking
my thoughts exactly. I have super thick and wavy hair, and my hair has gotten matted a thousand times worse than hers. never have I once had to cut it off from that.
i think because you rubbed your hair a lot it got so tangled
SHE IS WRONG!!! YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND DAB
OMG I SANG THAT WHEN SHE SAID THAT

HELGA THE KIDNAPPER HEY U KIDNAPPER
hafsa Ali mmmmmmmmmmmmerica
MagicalAwesomeSauce Games that's cool
It wasn't the color at all, it was the way you were scrubbing your hair and applying product. You should avoid bringing the length of your hair up to your scalp to scrub. If you need to clean the length simply use more shampoo and apply it to the length alone. Because you brought the hair up and were scrubbing, it caused the hair to mesh together, forming the knots. It was also probably influenced by the fact that your hair is naturally curly making it more likely to coil around itself when forming the curls. If anything, the color only contributed to it a small amount because it can tend to dry hair out.

Why didn't she just comb it out?
It was far too knotty
I tried combing out knots... That's also one of the reasons why my hair is less than a foot in length.
I had a huge big knot in my hair, and it was possible to get it out. Though it hurt getting it out and brushing it, eventually i got it out
I combed out my own dreads! It takes time but it can be done. Split ends don't help but that hair isn't healthy and needs to go anyway.
"mom....."
""yes dear?"
"........come here." lol
Something's are just meant to be. I think it was meant for you to get this haircut, it looks wonderful!
There was nothing ungrateful about this. She really just shrugged it off and said, "it's just hair."
Maybe I am crazy, but isn't that horse shampoo? I use that to get poop and mud out of this tail
....
Yeah lol
Sophie de Leeuw It's also for people. When I had my horse, I would wash her mane and tail (lol) with it as well. But I see it in walgreens and target and places like that as well. It must work so well on horses that they must have a smiliar formula for humans.
I use that shampoo it makes your hair stronger and healthier and it also helps it grow
Sophie de Leeuw its for both. it even says on the bottle "directions for horse" "direction for people" same shampoo for both
wow, only Americans can innovate that....
