I moved to Valencia with my wife 2 years ago and I keep seeing these beautiful old handmade road bikes all over the place.

Very nice. I restored my 1974 Zeus race bike. It took a while to find all the new old stock components. I got a decal set from a guy in Australia. Fun project

0:08 is the best look. A good clean is nice. Yet the yellow tape on the handle bars, black rims and all black tires is racier looking and more attractive to a potential buyer.

Fantástica restauración y bicicleta. La marca Zeus es española se inspiraba en los productos Campagnolo fabricandolos a un menor coste, fue absorbida por Orbea y con el tiempo desapareció.

Hey, nice restoration. Just curious, I've got the same bike, but with shimano 105. On the Zeus catalog for 1994 the Zeus Z 5004 cones with Shimano 105 and not campagnolo. Campaignolo veloce is Z 5005 i just checked 😜

En principio lo dejó al criterio del cliente, la verdad que esta no estaba nada mal de pintura, algun rasguño, pero lo normal del uso cotidiano y decidimos entre el cliente y yo no pintarla y invertir en componentes nuevos. 👍🚴grande Charlie!! Espero que haya sido de ayuda

Las puedes encontrar en wallapop o ebay, pero ahí te costara mucho mas caro.Si tienes suerte y encuentras alguna en algún rastro o mercados de segunda mano puede que la consigas mas barata. De todas formas mira primero en wallapop, hay gente que no sabe lo que tiene. Un saludo y espero haberte ayudado. ; )

Me he comprado recientemente un cuadro Razesa del Banesto, y tiene los cromados un poco oxidados, ¿Que pulimento en la horquilla usas en este vídeo?

El pulimento que uso es un abrillantador universal este es de la marca cindis, pero te vale cualquier marca. Yo uso pulimento de automoción son mas efectivos. Antes de nada gracias por tus consejos y respuestas.
Como te comenté en el el segundo vídeo del proyecto gravel, es que la edición lleva más tiempo que el trabajo en sí, aparte de que trabajar con cámara es muy difícil, por lo que es de agradecer su trabajo.
Con respecto al pulimento, tengo uno de coches, asique perfecto, no sabía si era buena idea o no, pero ahora ya sé que sí.
Por último, como te he comentado, me he pillado un cuadro Razesa del Banesto, y por una parte quiero montarlo con los componentes de época, pero aparte de ser muy caros tienen unos desarrollos que se pueden atragantar, asique no sé si comprar un grupo campagnolo actual y ruedas actuales y así la puedo utilizar con los amigos a pesar de romper la estética. ¿Usted qué haría si es posible saber su opinión?

@@Furiousdog237 Hola, si la vas a utilizar a diario o fines de semana para entrenar , yo utilizaría un grupo moderno. Si es para colección, sin duda el grupo campagnolo que le corresponda. Pero eso ya depende de ti, un saludo amigo y espero haberte aclarado ; )

i got an old Zeus bike from my old man.I think it's from 1975,anyway i can't seem to find the spare parts for this bike.It's mostly campagnolo but i don't know which kind.I got the bike without the rear derailleur also the shifters on the frame broke off.I want to modernize this bike a bit so i can take it out for weekend rides.Which parts and upgrades on a budget would you suggest? if you want i can send you a picture in a pm so you know what kind of bike i'm talking about.

Can you tell us what products you use for the cleaning process? Also have you ever used white vinegar on a rusty chain or cassette?
I use a universal degreaser such as "kh7" mixed with water or, if it doesn't work for me, use a degreasing solvent, then you have to blow it well so that there are no traces of water left in the bearings. I hope you have been useful, anything ask me, greetings and thanks for your comment; )
I use a universal polish for the frame that you can find in any hardware store; )
Apple cider vinegar bath for 12 hours will dissolve rust amazingly, but must be wiped off thoroughly. White vinegar not so much because has been refined too much.

Me alegro que te guste esta limpieza a fondo jejej , por lo de las pegatinas, estuvimos barajando opciones y al final, me dijo que las pegatinas que llevaba no le gustaban y que si le pusiera algunas seria como las que llevaban las Zeus de los 70, que son cromadas, con la bandera de campeón del mundo... Pero al final opto por ponérselas mas adelante.
A mi el blanco nacarado de esa bicicleta, me parece muy elegante y con las piezas cromadas aun mas.

dab restauración I’m trying to restore my Grandfather 50 year old Raleigh Steel Roadbike and the hanger was broken can I use this to replace it www.aliexpress.com/item/32704753592.html or could you recommend some bike hanger that could fit I’m planning to cut the hanger so it will look like the other side and just put other hanger in
R O S E First spray it really well with penetrating oil and let it sit for a few hours. Drill a small hole down the center of the bolt and use an 'easy out' extractor to remove it.
Use a left handed drill that cuts in reverse if you can find one! Usually these will back out small bolts.
If none of this works, drill and rivet it or just let the cables hold the guide in place. Open Holes in BBs are good to allow water in the frame to drain out.
This is what I call a Halfass job. Why not paint the frame since everything was taken off?
