Dude you really need to revisit the self titled slipknot album, you suggested we all had issues for liking the album so much, I think you are ready for it bro. Itll be a different experience for you now that you're knee deep into metal.
BlehBlehBlehNarf I don't know if it would be too different. I've been a metalhead since I was 16 but Slipknot is a special kind of chaotic. I listen to some dense shit but the Slipknot aesthetic has a unique insanity to its composition which I think I understand but in the end it just doesn't appeal to me. I can see for sure that it is special though and I am glad they have achieved the success they have seen.
Forrest Orozco in my experience they don't have as much flow and groove as most. Their tone is dirty and great but the composition never worked for me. Am I just listening to the wrong album?
If you're looking for more high production with rapid fire drums try Andromida. They're 100% instrumental and I'd recommend listening to Supernova first :)
If you like this, like i said in one of the korn videos, check out Carcass. The first album has terrible production, but it gets better from there. They have all sorts of tempo changes, three people doing vocals, insane drumming and fucking sick lyrics.
Great stuff but can I make a suggestion? Spend some time to make playlists for your marathons. Make a playlist for each band you marathon. That way YT algorithms wont screw up and take people away from your stuff when we want to watch one after the other.
