    I melted my brain trying to figure this for hours and hours. Thanks for making it understandable. I'm going to build an engine in Febuary that uses a capacitor dump circuit. This will be a great help in figuring out the values of the components. 👍

    You did a great job showing how you can calculate the same thing different ways and explaining the key concepts. Q is the same for each capacitor in series and V is the same for each capacitor in parallel. You explore all the aspects as usual to further and solidify our understanding!

    THE SHORTEST WAY TO CALCULATE THE EQUIVALENT CAPACITY OF PARALLEL CAPACITORS:
    C = ( C1 * C2 * C3 * ... * Cn ) / (C1 + C2 + C3 + ... + Cn )

    Hi. Thanks for the video.
    I have a coffee maker which stoped working cause of damaged plastic film capacitor. Can I replace it with aluminum capacitor fixed in series
    To get same values. Ie: voltage and Farads.
