I really hope you’re able to get those eventually, I’d love to see your reaction to finding one of those for a good price- it’ll be priceless.
For me, I'm not a huge fan of most rpg and other such categories. Just never really appealed to me. There are some exceptions with the Mario rpg style games.
If you ever come across a Japanese Wind Waker. I highly recommend grabbing it. I have one and the box art is beautiful and it's a great collection piece for display👊
I realize the sports games may not be too exciting, but MVP Baseball 2005 and Tiger Woods 2005 are pretty good. Worth having in a Gamecube collection in my opinion (but you should definitely keep just what you want). I think I have seen you talk about Golf in general, and if I recall correctly that era of Tiger Woods games had more "arcadey" elements, like power shots etc. Almost like Mario Golf but more like a sim. You can kind of understand why those particular sports games were in this really nice Gamecube collection.

'Not really into first person shooters' ..... So he puts Splinter Cell which ISN'T a first person shooter into the sell pile, then puts Timesplitters which is, in the keep pile lmao
Putting Splinter Cell on the sell pile is the same as putting Metal Gear on the sell pile. They are both stealth games, and pretty good ones at that You should grab them if you have the chance again. The original trilogy is worth a try
Following the list is honestly the best way to go about this. And your tastes are your tastes. At the end of the day it’s your collection. Yearly Sports I don’t get interested in, they change so often and COD has the same effect for me. I love RPGS, FPS like Doom /Destiny / Halo, and 3rd person adventure games, also a good RTS sometimes as well.

This doesn't really make any sense to me. This video was a miss for me.
@@Evilotto12 I get that. But it still misses the point of this series of videos that I thought was supposed to be about "earning" a collection through the work he put into reselling, and not being given one for free by a guy.
Caleb one thing i dont really understand, youve mentioned hoping to eventually find and buy some of the really expensive games (like cubivore or pokemon box) with your expected profit before, so why not roll over left over budget between episodes? that way you can eventually build up to indeed get those games if you find them? just from this video you'd add 11 dollars as you said yourself.

@@oisinosborne4154 it's just sad to see him not know what it is. He may continue to avoid it.
I LOVE the splinter cell series. Definitely my favorite stealth game ever
Just so you know, Splinter Cell is not a FPS. It is a 3rd person stealth game.
Had to find this comment because I knew someone was going to point that out lmao Splinter Cell is one of the goats
@@joshb2093 unfortunately it’s quickly categorized under fps but it’s far from that
Damn you ripped him off. Some old dumb switch not even an oled for a collection worth way over $1000 what an idiot I’d have given him one of my ps5’s and my old switch for that collection
That poor guy got ripped off good lord
It's funny watching these and see how little Caleb actually knows about video games.
He doing it for views his not even a gamecube person if u look at his older selling videos he says that.
@@eduardoo3207 you really have no idea wtf you are talking about. He outright describes having a passion for the gamecube as it’s a piece of his childhood and he openly says he has little experience with it so he enjoys learning more the games and enjoying them. This isn’t “for the video’s” anymore than his own personal interest and joy and you have no business spreading misinformation
this one's just too cruel for me.............
The Hockey game you showed briefly is literally the best Hockey video game ever. Def a hidden gem as it's not mainline. That's Hitz 03. It's very much like Super Mario Strikers. 3 vs 3. High scoring. Very arcade like. Lot of fun.
That guy gave up two zeldas that cost more than 100 dollars. You can buy a new switch with three games from the collection that he traded. That viewer is the worst resale guy I've ever seen. 😑
Those 5 switch games cost like 40 dollars at Walmart too
I generally like your videos but you kinda shafted the viewer with this trade. Gave him a used gen 1 switch in a paper bag.. You got away with borderline robbery there
i modded my gen 1 switch and have $1000 in games i added for free, and can add movies music emulators and more
@@gaybobby6970Meh. Big deal.
Who cares. The other guy accepted. People kill me with that.
Bros mad he can’t get a deal 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
I understand that he kinda scammed but the guy was willing to do it and seemed happy after it he also wasn’t playing on the GameCube anymore so I would really say he scammed the guy
My guy you threw the switch in a bag?? Why not keep it in the box tf
"I have to figure out if this stack of games is worth $90" ...I could tell you by not even looking it up obviously it was worth $90 plus lol ....Some of these videos where people sell collections for newer systems just blow my mind. Congrats on the haul man
Yikes. Imagine ripping off a fan like this with no second thought lmao
i bet he told the fan hes got a good deal, didnt knew wat switch/games he wouldve given him. he probably just took it cuz its a video and seems like he doesnt care, probably does and didnt expect it. what a shthead
Dude, you seriously just got every Zelda game on the Gamecube in one blow. Wow.
HOW THE HELL IS THIS GUY A VIEW AND HAS ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND DID NOT REALIZE HE GOT ABSOLUTELY RIPPED OFF AND ON CAMERA
WOOHOO! YOU RIPPED HIM OFF HAHA good job dude =) keep it up 😀
This channel serves no purpose to me. I’m barely into video games. I hardly resell anything online. This channel shouldn’t even be on my radar, yet… This channel is somehow my all time favorite! I’m very new to the channel, and can’t get enough of it!
This was probably the worst deal I’ve ever seen
I know some people think we are being "salty" for saying this deal was horrible for the viewer. However, the bottom line is this is one of Caleb's fans and viewers. He totally ripped him off. If this was a pawn shop, yard sale, or flea market it would be easier to take as you have no connection to the person. Yes, everyone knows Caleb is a reseller and likes to double up. This was so much more than a double up and you totally ripped off a fan of the show. Caleb claims he wants to be known as someone who pays up and treats everyone well. He couldn't even give the guy a brand new switch? It had to be a used one? Be a man of your word and make it right with this guy. I remember back when you bought that huge collection of saturn, snes, nes and you told the person if it was more than you realized you'd make it right. Well here is your chance to prove you mean it. I am not saying go dollar for dollar, but you gave this guy about 30% of value when he was doing you a huge favor for your show! You can definitely get up to around 50 or 60% and still do really well for yourself!
Comments like this are so annoying, both are grown adults if they fan didn’t like the trade he would have said so. there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this trade you just want to be a keyboard warrior.
@@dylanevans879 Having a valid complaint about something doesn't make someone a keyboard warrior. Don't worry though! We can still be friends :)
The guy knew what he was getting and he didn't care for the games anyway
The guy who gave these to you is crazy. Those GameCube games have an estimated value of over $1000, and could have sold them easily or quickly. I honestly can’t believe that.
i dont know why you people think its so easy to sell things. people are busy, they have things to do -they cant just set up amazon shops and sit around waiting for people to maybe show up on facebook marketplace - some things are more urgent than others, some people value things differently - theres a million answers, who fuckin cares bruh
@@theStepFamm I have sold 6 of those titles shown through eBay or Facebook. Plus a few more through the same way. I will admit some take a few weeks, and the not so well known ones take a lot longer, but I never had an issue with it while working full time.
@@jasonaustin7564 we all know that shipping stuff can become a nightmare if its not your main gig but after a while im sure it doesnt take as long as it seems but the money is surely worth it, either way yes ppl arent as smart as everyone else, they havent played a switch yet and this guy gets his hands on them like theyre nothing so the value is diff, time is money for the other guy too - he prob makes a killing doin somethin else
Two videos in a row he's rinsed people out of big collections for next to nothing. Where does he keep finding these mugs?
I think they actually find him.
An idiot is born every day
I thought Collector’s Luck was the best swindler. Caleb I’ve learned a lot from your channel. How to use charm to swindle generous people. Of course you guys just call it business as usual. Keep up the great work you’re killing it!
Yeah I found this guy recently so I didn't know much about him but after this i think I'm done watching this channel
I love seeing you screw over people for our entertainment and for you to have a profit too. Great video
I agree! Idk if you notice but he traded him a white box switch lmaooo
Yes
@@leeokami1021 White box was launch model red box is updated
@@leeokami1021 the white box switch is the original switch which means pretty much its the worst one for the same amount of money! The red box switch has a better battery for no extra charge
“Finessed his ass”- Kodak Black
the four Zeldas games are worth more than a switch😂
Bro he helped up out lol I felt bad for this trade I’m done watching these videos you could of at least got him a oled switch
XIII is maybe one of the coolest and most random FPS game on the GameCube that I LOVE!! It is really nice definitely add it in the collection bröther
Getting rid of Smuggler’s Run and the Splinter Cell games was a mistake.
I haven’t watched the video yet, but I know the GAMECUBE GAMBIT is always 🔥🔥🔥
Joined this channel a couple months back and with every video, I am never looking away. I haven’t had a channel this entertaining to me in awhile. I look forward to your videos which is weird to me but I love it. Happy New Year Caleb many blessings this year
Shows a switch box beforehand then shows up with it in a grocery bag and doesn’t even mention what games he gave the guy which are probably shovelware that he wouldn’t sell online for a profit, yeah he straight purposely ripped the dude off.
I’m currently 16 and have pretty decent sized GameCube collection of around 30 games. All of which are good games that have value.
But through the help of my friend, I was able to add Gotcha Force, Cubivore, and Chibi Robo to my collection. I really hope you’re able to get those eventually, I’d love to see your reaction to finding one of those for a good price- it’ll be priceless.
how on earth do you have that kidn of money at 16? Lol Gotcha force alone is like 500$.
For me, I'm not a huge fan of most rpg and other such categories. Just never really appealed to me. There are some exceptions with the Mario rpg style games.
Great pickups! But you gotta get Splinter Cell in the collection! Amazing stealth games
favorite new obsession channel. Some of the best content on TH-cam. Keep up the good work!
If you ever come across a Japanese Wind Waker. I highly recommend grabbing it. I have one and the box art is beautiful and it's a great collection piece for display👊
The fact you called Splinter Cell a FPS shooter 😤😔 Major L getting rid of those...Classic Games
Guy rips people off hardcore…..hurts to watch.
Horrible trade on his side
this is just hard to watch. interesting that you let us see what's been traded from your part. that takes balls. pulling moves like this without getting your reputation destroyed, what a time to be alive.
He got mugged off massively 😂 can but that switch alone in U.K. is £150 to buy now, one of them games he gave is worth that, insane hahaha
Happy new year! Been bing watching your videos like crazy.❤️
I like this channel and I’ve been watching for about a year but this felt nasty
10:55 I love the random PS2 Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec game in the middle of all that GameCube gold. Made me laugh out loud. So random.
They are both stealth games, and pretty good ones at that
You should grab them if you have the chance again. The original trilogy is worth a try
They are bad if you view them as first person shooters though.
Gotta love Caleb, completely gyped that dude. A $200 switch for a $1,000+ gc collection. On top of that dude was a viewer that supports his channel. Absolute trash.
Harsh but fair 😂
Didn't even include the box...
@@moose3347 Or didnt include good games, most of em were trash lmao.
Was nice to hear you say
"Get them into the hands of someone who will enjoy them"
You know he doesn't really address it but the Zelda games he picked up are insanely rare and can go for a lot of money
Lmao they aren’t rare, they made millions of those. They’re great games and are valuable.
Gran Turismo is "Vanilla Need For Speed" lol...thats actually a compliment. Its called Gran Turismo "The Real Driving Simulator". It doesnt get any more vanilla than that. Lol mission accomplished!
Wow you ripped this guy off
This doesn't really make any sense to me. I thought the whole point of the "gamecube gambit" was to show how people could build a collection from scratch, and being essentially given a full collection for free by one of your youtube subscribers is the exact opposite of that. This video was a miss for me.
100%. He’s a soulless reseller.
Love the GameCube gambit! The edits in this video are HILARIOUS
I hate when I get recommended to this dude he just scams these poor people not letting them know what they have is incredibly valuable it makes me sick people like him just greedy for money
Smuggler's run has a soft spot for me as I used to play it at a friend's house. The "cops and robbers" mode was hours of fun
Becuase of people like him videogames are overpriced
An old used switch with 5 games? You said you were gonna give him the better deal. He deserved a brand new one with at least 10 nintendo titles
Omg that guy did the worst trade ever rip man
Anyone whos saying that Caleb ripped him off is right, but the guy selling the GameCube games can choose what he wants to do with them, People don't understand that. He also said "Let me see if I can help him out" which is implying that he wants the games to go to Caleb.
Did you just call Gran Turismo vanilla Need for Speed? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
What an amazing lot to add to the collection! Love this series! I'm also slowly trying to build my gamecube collection. Great video 👍👍
This is such a rip off. I usually support you Caleb but this is crazy bad. Like you should be ashamed of yourself. Even if it was OLED it would be a rip off
Cry
U could have at least given the guy the switch box 🤦 those Zelda games ALONE are worth a lot
I can't believe that guy went through with that sale. You truly are Mr krabs, but hey... that's capitalism.
you screwed him over and didn’t even bother giving him the switch box?????!? damn..
It's relatively easy to get a Switch. Not so with the guys former Gamecube collection. He must have wanted a Switch so badly😀
My brain is melting
The least interesting genre for me that I see a lot of love for are what I call "simulation games". Games like Harvest Moon, Stardust Valley, Animal Crossing, the Sims. Not my thing.
Bad deal for that guy... Win 4 u. U know that well bro. U Will ignore all comments because they are against the guy But u know u son he Lost...his not very Smart.
If you come across Shrek superslam you definitely need to keep it because it has weirdly developed an eSports like culture around it
Guy got ripped off
That time splitters two that you got. I never seen the color behind the guy. That must be a different cover variant. Cool!!
Congrats. You just ripped another TH-cam viewer... You gave him a used switch with filler titles...wow. Just MGS Twin Snakes alone & the Zelda's he could've bought a new Switch Oled!
I’m from the Bahamas I’m glad I found your channel because I also wanna start collecting for a GameCube. We don’t have a lot of vintage game stores here but thanks to you!! I get an idea where I could look. I also think you should add a Def Jam game.
He isn’t into games just money so watch people who actually care
This ruins the challenge imo
I love the meta moments that Riff adds of him in his editing room. Always gets a laugh.
You got a STEAL. You can easily sell a lot of those lower budget titles and the system on Amazon and make money. You can keep all the high value titles and still make money off this. It’s cool that he recognized who you were and what your goal is but he definitely hooked you up because of who you are. It’s deals like this that don’t happen to everyday joes. Nice to see some big progress on the collection, keep the content coming!
Great deals like this DO happen to everyday Joe's. I got a crazy deal for an OLED switch a couple weeks ago... Seller was happy, I was happy... She wanted the stuff gone more than wanting to get top dollar so I gave her fair trade and cash and she was very satisfied. The difference is Caleb hustles -- 24x7... You only see the success stories on here -- not the duds.
@@SteveBaileyHQ the OLED was literally released like 3 months ago how can someone be happy it's gone like it's a 1990 item 💀
