Indeed. You'd think there'd be an algorithm they could develop to fix sync issues with videos automatically, intelligently and do similar for pro video compilations.
Thank you for bring this topic up. I did that and yes it works but it is not like an exact sync? We can't move the audio precisely. I mean you can see in this video too, it is not right beneath where original audio starts. Because when we try to slide the audio it jumps way before/after the original spike.
@@davimatheson I was planning on buying filmora but then I found Da Vinci and I only needed the audio sync. It works great. Even though pretty hefty for what I need.
Is there any way to link the audio and video together? so when you cut the video it will automatically cut the audio as well. I know you can pick both files and then cut but that takes more time and sometimes you may forget. Thank you!

Because as shown even in this clip we can’t perfectly match our audio exactly to the wave form but rather just roughly get it close enough. I'm new to Filmora and editing - I have two audio clips and one video with audio and am trying to sync them all (singing melody with two harmony lines), and am running into the snag of one of the audio clips being half a frame off from the others, so no matter which way I position the clip, it's fast or slow by just a hair relative to the other two audios. Is there not an option to then attach the new audio to the video, and be able to edit them together? I see the "attach audio" option appear only for the original audio once that's detached.

I installed the “detect beats” plug in. That works great but now I cannot fade the audio out. I can’t grab those handles anymore. Also the audio keyframes do not work properly anymore so I cannot fade out manually. HELP

so then both are out of sync when you do it this way, not horrible out of sync, but still out of sync. When you detached the audio, it was still not in synch with the audio clip, so you didn't fix anything. Sorry Elliot, love the software, but this is not a solution.
After removing camera audio and adding microphone audio how to Jointly edit Video and Audio. As there are two different tracks each time I am forced to select both video and audio track to use "cut option". Is there any option like Audio attach just like Audio detach which is already available. At the end of the video, you have Video and Audio track separately but aligned perfectly. Thanks for video. This is the process I have been using and although the video and audio are aligned during the project stage, as soon as I export the video into a final 'movie' the audio will become 'unsynced'. Any suggestions?
How do you drag or adjust the audio in small micro movements to line up. When I use the mouse to drag the audio, I can’t get it to move in little bits, and can’t see where I’ve moved it until I let the button go, which is usually too much or too little.
I just got the lifetime for Filmora 9. I am having issues with the audio repeating the same word over and over until it get to the next frame. How can that be fixed? With that going on it really hard to lesson to what is being said in the video to know if it is being edited the right way. It doesn't have that problem when I export the video. After recording a recent video I noticed that breath noises and lip-smacking were being picked up by my external mic (Rode NT-USB) into my Canon SL3. I'm wondering if I can export the audio to an mp3. Then use Audacity to silence the smacking. Then reimport the audio into Filmora and resync it (via the process in this video) to the original video. Filmora is FRUSTRATING !!! Zoom in all the way even with both track snapping and canvas snapping unchecked (not selected) and Filmora will still snap to the increments on the timeline ruler. That Totally Sucks! I work with music files and I can't get Filmora to sync correctly because of this. There's things I like about Filmora but I hope there's a way to resolve this.

I have a pre-recorded audio track, a song, and I tend to record a playthrough from different angles and it can get kind of tedious to sync them all to the clicking in the tracks. Premier has an option that you can click and it will sync all the videos with the audio immediately, is there anything similar in filrmora 9?
I think this video might answer my question but is there anything different I need to do when filming with two cameras? Also, my audio in recording is coming from a mixing board, so I'm not recording from an external microphone. Basically, in recording an electronic music performance with two different camera angles using Switcher.
@@FilmoraWondershare My iPad is connected to an audio interface using the lighting port, this disables the external microphone of the iPad so when I clap, I will only see the action. Perhaps this will be enough.
I bought the license s couple of months ago and I still have not edited a single video with Filmora9 because it glitches and freezes all the time. Well, the audio file when dragging it to sync, jumps from one frame point to another, thus not allowing for a perfect sync of the audio... it is bad...
so I'm trying to align audio track to my video track but either will only line up to one of the marks on the grid line. Even when moved at full scale (all the way to the right, it's still not close enough. The track lines up with either marks before or after the point where I need it to go. Is there a way to disable "snap to grid"??

In Fillmora 9.5 it doesn't still let you move the audio in sub-frame intervals. Because of that, the resulting audio is still out of sync despite my best efforts using the mouse :(

Yup. I'm trying to sync five videos and one audio track and it's impossible.
I want to know if there is a way to move frame while it is played - to imitate "live" camera movement (eg.: smoothly move TV host to the left to display sth. on his right without making cuts). CROP and PAN&ZOOM do not have this option (without zooming...) Please help

I really enjoy these tips. I've been using this syncing technique for a while, and when the sound spike is a little indistinct, I add a marker to the audio file and a second marker to the video file where the clap occurs. But sometimes I struggle to line up the audio exactly to the video. Is there a way of nudging the audio file in very small steps until it aligns perfectly with the video?
I recently started using Filmora and I'm having the same issue with micro adjustment. Everything moves one frame at a time but it's not ideal for perfect synching.

Edited to add: I guess the current limitation of movement of the audio file in one frame increments will be less significant with higher frame rates. My main camera is just 25fps. With a 50 fps film, the misalignment would be half as significant, but at 25fps it can be visibly out of sync.

I'm having the same problem. There is no way to do micro adjustments and get the sound exactly lined up. I was hoping to use Filmora for creating "zoom" style music videos, but it's too hard to line all of the tracks precisely. Will probably need to look elsewhere.

so I'm trying to align audio track to my video track but either will only line up to one of the marks on the grid line. Even when moved at full scale (all the way to the right, it's still not close enough. The track lines up with either marks before or after the point where I need it to go. Is there a way to disable "snap to grid"??
@@FilmoraWondershare It was enabled but even when I turn it off it still won't let me set the edge of the clip in between two lines
@@FilmoraWondershare This snapping makes FILMORA useless for me. Can't turn it off, can't stop this snapping. All your fancy adverts and it's impossible to align audio. So many people are complaining about this. Can't/won't you do anything about it? SO FRUSTRATING.

In Fillmora 9.5 it doesn't still let you move the audio in sub-frame intervals. Because of that, the resulting audio is still out of sync despite my best efforts using the mouse :(

I want to know if there is a way to move frame while it is played - to imitate "live" camera movement (eg.: smoothly move TV host to the left to display sth. on his right without making cuts). CROP and PAN&ZOOM do not have this option (without zooming...) Please help
@@FilmoraWondershare Well it kinda works if I change in Pan&Zoom native 16:9 to 4:3 then I have a little room to move. Would there be a tool for that in future? PS The whip is great, but it is not what I need now. Thanx 4 the hint, though!

what about perfectly matching video audio and the dubb, cause we cant match the audio and video perfectly in filmora its just snaps to another sec , it should let us do it manually too , thats irritating cause you can find delay in lipsync because of that automatic snap ,

Click your video at time line and click right on the mouse and choose detach audio.
I have a simmilar prblem: I recorded my screen w/ the screen recorder on filmora, but then the audio and video doesnt sync.
You should make the option to attach the new audio file to the footage!

@@FilmoraWondershare that's what I did .they are smaller but it is not enough and the lip sync for fast audio is off .I wish there was a way to move it wherever on the timeline without the mili second restriction

While trimming id like to HEAR the audio track . Right now there is silence when I'm scrolling over video. I am making my first video (on filmora 9) . so I am starting from scratch. i am pretty proficient on Pinnacle 12 but want to learn this.

We have done this for our videos, but during the editing phase, it desyncs over time. Is there any way to avoid this? It has created longer editing times since we have to cut at the moments it desyncs again and try to resync.

I really enjoy these tips. I've been using this syncing technique for a while, and when the sound spike is a little indistinct, I add a marker to the audio file and a second marker to the video file where the clap occurs. But sometimes I struggle to line up the audio exactly to the video. Is there a way of nudging the audio file in very small steps until it aligns perfectly with the video?
I recently started using Filmora and I'm having the same issue with micro adjustment. Everything moves one frame at a time but it's not ideal for perfect synching.
Me too! It doesn't seem to allow small, precise movements of the audio files. Nor does it look like it lines up.

Edited to add: I guess the current limitation of movement of the audio file in one frame increments will be less significant with higher frame rates. My main camera is just 25fps. With a 50 fps film, the misalignment would be half as significant, but at 25fps it can be visibly out of sync.

I'm having the same problem. There is no way to do micro adjustments and get the sound exactly lined up. I was hoping to use Filmora for creating "zoom" style music videos, but it's too hard to line all of the tracks precisely. Will probably need to look elsewhere.
