Hi! I’ve been using filmora for about 2 years now, and I think I’ve become quite good with it. I was wondering if there was a way I could apply for a sponsorship?
I really like the clean and simple interface, the tools, the capabilities, the overall ease of use and the price of the perpetual license of Filmora Pro. I think that this so-called pro software is an ok first generation/beta-ish version but I would like to see many improvements and additions but not many changes. For these reasons, I haven't chosen Filmora Pro as my professional video editor and I would not advise that you purchase this software for professional use until Wondershare has made these improvements. I am not bashing the software but more so strongly encouraging and pleading that Wondershare improve this software to the point where as I'd choose it as my professional video editing software. This software has the potential to be a poor man's version of Premiere Pro but obviously not nearly as powerful but as a less expensive alternative. The more I use Filmora Pro, the more I realize how much I need the improvements that I've listed and even discover more. I don't expect Filmora Pro to be equivalent to Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X or Davinci Resolve or Avid Media Composer but with the suffix Pro and with Filmora X being supposedly Wondershare's consumer version video editor but in some ways being more powerful or having more features and DEFINITELY receiving more tutorials, marketing and overall attention, Wondershare's Filmora Pro DEFINITELY needs to make these improvements and additions. I've made a list of improvements and additions that I would like to see in Filmora Pro. I don't like the fact that the consumer and less expensive software, Filmora X has the "Color Match" feature but Filmora Pro doesn't. I would like to see the "Color Match" feature added to Filmora Pro. I would like to see 4K DCI and UHD as an Import and Export option in Filmora Pro. Being that 4K video capture resolution is becoming the standard, most video editors would assume that a Pro version would have 4K importing and rendering options. Even with performance proxies, there are still some playback and rendering issues with Filmora Pro. I would like to see the software's performance be improved to whereas it can take full advantage of the CPUs and graphics card's efficiency capabilities. I would like to see Filmora Pro add "Markers". I would like for the "Markers" to allow you to label them with text. There is a quirky and very annoying thing that happens in Filmora Pro when the playhead is running. When the playhead is running and anything else is selected, the playhead stops. Unless there's a function that should stop the playhead from running, I would like to see the playhead run continuously while other tasks are being performed. Each and every time that I've attempted to export a video of at least thirty minutes, the export failed or the software crashed. I would like to see this error corrected in Filmora Pro. There are some video file types missing from the available types of video files that can be imported and exported into Filmora Pro. I would like to see additional video file types that can be imported into and exported from Filmora Pro. There are no "Fade Handles" on video and audio clips. I would like to see "Fade Handles" on the beginning and end of video and audio clips, with the duration in frames identified. It would be nice to not have to go into the effects panel, go into the transitions folder, go into the crossfade folder and then drag the crossfade transition onto the clip, when the clips could just be overlapped and the clips could automatically be crossfaded with the duration of the crossfade identified (similar to Sony Vegas). There is no option to play from start or to repetitively play from a specific point. Also there isn't a loop function. I would like to see the transport options expanded to include a play from start, play repetitively from a specific point or within a region and looping enabled. Filmora Pro doesn't have Adjustment Layers. Adding Adjustment Layers to Filmora Pro would significantly increase the speed, ease, efficiency and flexibility in adding effects and adjustments to multiple clips. Since Filmora Pro is labeled as a Pro software, I'd like to see Adjustment Layers added. In the timeline tracks section of Filmora Pro, there is the option to Mute Tracks by selecting The Eye Icon but there is no option to Solo Tracks. I would like to see the option to Solo Tracks added to Filmora Pro's timeline track's section. It would save a tremendous amount of time if multiple camera angles with matching audio could be automatically synchronized and organized into a compound clip onto the timeline, so that you could simply make a one click to toggle through the synchronized clips to select in your event on the timeline, thus only having one track. Last but not least, Filmora Pro doesn't stay current and doesn't receive nearly as many video tutorials, updates, marketing, advertisements and overall attention as Filmora X. I assume that Wondersahre's consumer video editor Filmora X is vastly more popular and generates more revenue, thus forcing the company to focus most of the attention on Filmora X. I don't know this to be true but it's very obvious that Filmora Pro receives VERY LITTLE attention. Filmora Pro is WELL OVERDUE for significant updates and improvements. Once again, I reiterate that I am not bashing this software, as I actually like it to some degree for the simple and clean interface, ease of use, cost, perpetual license and potential. But with the limitations and lack of improvements, it's very difficult for me to edit videos professionally efficiently and effectively. I REALLY hope that Wondershare makes these improvements and additions so that I can settle in on Filmora Pro.

the problem with Filmora is that u can personalize that much of the preset animations and for example u cant apply effect on the text itself, for example the shake effect will effect every layer under him, so also the video will be triggered, please hear me out and do an update about it!!!!
I’m trying to have a background move in the video along side a person walking to make it seem like they are walking smoothly in this video. Do you know how I can have the background photo move along with the person for over 30 seconds?
Am I doing something wrong? Because I don’t have any of the tons of transitions and stuff in filmora pro that are in filmora 9. Is it just not there? Is it not a way to get it there? If not it’s weird to make a pro version that’s stripped and watered down. I’m beyond confused.
Leads The Fallen but after buying all that a person would have edit in the older filmora apps to have all the nice transitions and overlays etc. Then render that video out in the exact bitrate that it was recorded in. In hopes to not lose any quality. Then turn back around and edit it the rest of the way in filmora pro. And then render it out in filmora pro using the vbr render so that for instance it was recorded in 60k but you want the max bitrate to be 60k and the lowest to 20k bitrate giving you a smaller file size without losing any quality. Even after doing all that it doesn’t even mention the fact that filmora pro and filmora 9 both render slower than the filmora before them did. Filmora pro took almost two hours to render a barley 30 minute video with only two texts added to the video and no color grading or animations added to the video. And i don’t have an old computer or a weak processor. The filmora before 9 was so optimized that bad boy was rendering 10 minute videos with tons of transitions and stuff in less than 4 or 5 for me. I should of just stuck with not updating to filmora 9 from what I had. And I should of maybe saved my money and not jumped so fast and brought filmora pro. I still like them but I don’t like everything about them. But oh well right? You win some you lose some. I just don’t want to lose all that time rendering using both applications for different things.
Leads The Fallen now that doesn’t sound bad at all! And i know for a fact it will blaze through rendering with my computer also. I wanted to keep loving filmora. But the good run seems to be slowing coming to an end.
@@RushinTruckin with an 1/8th the functionality so....I get what your trying to say... I've used this app for years.. And for what they charge and Now with sub fees this is all comming very late. After f9 and" pro" came out I was like why am I using this still? It's like a extremely light version of premier. I pay 20 a month for Adobe suite for 15 apps and more functionality than the Filmora program could ever Offer at this point. Filmora. Filmora 7 was a great app For what it cost and offered.. 9 is a step in the right direction..but it's too little to late for me.. Probably not for Others.
I tried to make part of my text transparent but for whatever reason, there's no transparent button in my Filmora Pro under Text. Do I have to go to my settings to activate it or am I missing something?
When you buy filmora pro can you use it to create video marketings, templates or sell your videos? when you buy filmora pro you buy the comercial licence too?
While Filmora provides wonderful set of titles / transitions / effects, the inability to apply effects to individual tracks or clips just seriously kills most of its potential. For example, as illustrated in one of your recent videos on youtube regarding "Text Shake Effect" as well as this video, it is impossible to apply the shake effect to just a single clip of text and the effect simply affects all tracks/clips below it. This seriously limits what we can do with the wonderful and well-made effects, which is a great shame. Would you deliver this to the developer team and hopefully we can see an update with the ability to apply effects to separate tracks/clips?

So if you have a background behind your text, the shake effect will be applied to that background so everything's gonna start shaking." If you have a main video for editing in the background and titles or elements you wish to place 'above' this background video, you cannot apply effects 'just' to the desired titles or elements. The main video in the background will always need to be placed at the bottom, and the effects that go above the track with your desired titles or elements will simply affect 'all' tracks below it. So while you said in your reply "You can apply effects like filters and shakes to just one clip, but not just one text effect.", this is very not true. This applies both to texts or PIP clips alike - as long as you have a main video in the background and want to show this 'while' showing desired titles/elements as well, there is simply no way to apply effects individually to just designated clips/titles/elements without affecting the main video in the background, the one placed at the bottom.

I want to tell you that I was actually surprised to continue to receive replies this far, and this kind of micro support and interaction on top of the general support just maintains my belief in Filmora for how better it will be as time goes by :) As for your answer, I actually did not know you could individually apply effects to clips and elements, so this is a great find for me! :) So now I can only hope and wait for more so that in a future update, we will be able to apply effects to titles/texts as well. I want to add the Up Motion in my text, but I want to make it fast, but I also want my text stay longer. because if i drag the text longer it makes the motion slower, any ideas?
Been there. I know a solution to it if you're working with the 'Fade' animation. I can't figure out a way to make it work animations that move the text around. I solved it by splitting my text into 3 parts, the fade in, the no-animation, the fade out. First you make the 'fade in' short (since you want it to be fast), then place the same text without any animation over it's last few frames. This way, you cant see the first short piece of text fade out since its covered by the 'non-fade' text. Keep the 'non-fade' text as long as you'd like and then place the 'fade out' text under it so as to not see the 'fade out' text fade in. Now, your text will fade in fast, stay long and fade out quickly and you can also customize with variable fade in/fade out speeds.
All this is fantastic BUT, all unlucky people - me including - who bought filmora from appstore, can only envy the rest of you, since filmora doesn't update the appstore version :(

im a bit lost my filmora pro doesn't show the button to make text transparent under the text tab. i don't know what could be causing that, is there is perhaps a fix or option to add this?

I want to tell you that I was actually surprised to continue to receive replies this far, and this kind of micro support and interaction on top of the general support just maintains my belief in Filmora for how better it will be as time goes by :)
As for your answer, I actually did not know you could individually apply effects to clips and elements, so this is a great find for me! :) So now I can only hope and wait for more so that in a future update, we will be able to apply effects to titles/texts as well.

Been there. I know a solution to it if you're working with the 'Fade' animation. I can't figure out a way to make it work animations that move the text around.
I solved it by splitting my text into 3 parts, the fade in, the no-animation, the fade out. First you make the 'fade in' short (since you want it to be fast), then place the same text without any animation over it's last few frames. This way, you cant see the first short piece of text fade out since its covered by the 'non-fade' text. Keep the 'non-fade' text as long as you'd like and then place the 'fade out' text under it so as to not see the 'fade out' text fade in.
Now, your text will fade in fast, stay long and fade out quickly and you can also customize with variable fade in/fade out speeds.

im a bit lost my filmora pro doesn't show the button to make text transparent under the text tab. i don't know what could be causing that, is there is perhaps a fix or option to add this?
@@FilmoraWondershareat 4:01 of this video you click a button under the text tab that makes the text you high lighted transparent, if i go into my filmora pro and i follow this step by step and then go under the text tab to make the highlighted text transparent i do not get that option at all.
