Just for the fact, Kibinai is not lithuanian food but karaimian. Karaims is almost extinct nation, originaly leaving in Crimea peninsula, but many hundreds years ago Lithuanian Duke Vytautas relocated some karaims to Trakai, and they brings kibinai here. Couple hundred karaims still leaves in Lithuania. You must visit Trakai one day ;) (better in summer), its small touristic city nowadays but in midages it was capital city of Grand Duchy of Lithuania, there is big nice castle in the middle of the lake, and off course you find there best kibinai in Lithuania. Oh wow. I didn't know this. Thank you for this new information. I visited Trakai last winter and that was the first time I saw and ate kibinai. They say your Trakai experience is not complete if you don't eat their kibinai so I completed mine 😀. I hope to go back there again preferably in Summer.
Not bad for a first time! :) From what I saw dough was way too wet. It is best to put the dough in the refrigerator for at least a couple hours before using it. Final consistency should be similar to plasticine(playdough for american english I guess..). It will make it easier to handle and will be less messy :).
