Wow, I just watched a TH-cam of one of these in action, and it's so cool. Thanks so much for the identification on that. What a great find, and I had no clue!
Yeah but they've been sitting so long, they literally are fragile now, super crispy and hard so they crack and break up. Thanks for the Father's day wishes!!
Great video, as always! I had to laugh...when you pulled out some books and talked about survival, etc., then you pulled out a banjo book. All I could think about was Deliverance!
Man when you spun the spiral and said send $20 to lockernuts, idk why but made my spit my water out and bust out laughing! Odd subject witchcraft and wizards and stuff but I'd lot all that up and get something out of it. It does sell .
Before health issues my husband and I used to buy storage units and went to many estate sales and auctions. I got more excited about all the unique items rather than the value. It was so much fun.
I have missed these locker videos. I like these more than those box opening videos you have made lately. Toys and collectibles are nice to see, but still like these kind of videos more. So thank you for filming this!
I think there's more GOOD STUFF to be found in there! Can't wait to see more and especially to find out what's in that safe!! See ya next time, and God Bless you as well!
Another great video with interesting finds. I am so happy for you that you found a "fun" safe that appears to have some "fun" in it. Based on the ammo and the documents, who knows what could be in that thing. Thanks for the entertainment. My best to the family and Saint Janna.
I'm looking forward to opening it. I still haven't! But I'm putting my money on it being a "fun" one. LOL. I was holding out for hope that I still might find a key, but so far no key I've found fits. So, looks like I'll have to get in the old fashioned way.
@@LockerNuts Hi Jack love your videos, there was a key that would fit the type of lock usually on a gun safe in the drawer of the jewelry box you found unless it's a tube lock.
The ott light simulates natural light, like sun light. When they first came out they were expensive! That size, which is the smallest size, would have been about 35 to 45 dollars. They may be cheaper by now, but crafters and hobbyists loved them. I know because I loved mine! 🤗. ✌🏼❤️
The red plastic idem that looks like a wrench is a 5 gallon bucket opener. Used to open paint or roadway sealers. The black plastic hook looking thing is something not applicable on school grounds today. It's one side of a rifle holder for the back window of a pickup or side storage area of a car/sports utility vehicle.
At 50:34 the EZ Mount is one of a pair of Gun rack for the back window of your pick up truck. The Ice scraper edge on the top and bottom slides under the rubber on the glass to mount it.
I go to there Whatnot most weeks & I live in the UK, your first buy is normally £17 stirling & 20-29 dollars for shipping, but after this it down to cheap shipping, so if your from the UK don't let that first buy with shipping put you off. I've had great buys from Lockernuts, it's better if your a night person as they are on late as it the USA I've dropped off a few times waiting & im not a happy bunny when I do lol it's fun, so see you all there. mx
Jack, I’m really surprised your girls are not interested in taking things like those books and listing to kind of have their own business. That’s how I started as a kid back in the 60’s, 70’s. I would jump at the chance to have stuff you don’t necessarily mess with if there were something worthwhile to make. This locker was really interesting!!
Book of Solomon in with witchcraft. Hopefully Solomon won out! This locker would be right up my hubby's alley if he were still well enough to use them. He loved to woodwork and was always looking for new pony clamps and projects to do.
The one little metal piece you found that unscrewed and you dais it was missing something, reminds me of an old creosote lamp. My husband used to to go frog giggin’ .( don’t know if that was a California thing or not. We were from Ky.) they would go out at night and wear that light on their head and use a long poled fork, so to speak and gig frogs. Stuff them in a burlap sack. Frog legs are good.
12:17 the red thing is for opening 5 gallon buckets of paint. And if you have not gotten rid of "The Key Of Solomon" book I would be very interested in buying it.
Crog! Not sure about the book, I'll keep an eye out for it and see if I can find it. One load of stuff went to the market, but I did hold back on a couple boxes of books, to research them a bit more.
Hello Jack. That black piece of plastic with like a hook on it at the 50:34 marker is for a gun. You can put it on your truck back window and hang your gun on it. I can't wait to see what's in the safe. Take care. As always like your videos.
I just moved to Turlock last week. There's a dump there that will take those mattresses no charge with a load, next time you're in Turlock. Dump fees are $35.00 a load.
Just went there yesterday! Dumped those for free, and a ton of other stuff. Like, literally... 2,000 pounds. Much of it was from the next locker too, but that dump is super easy and really inexpensive.
I’m thinking like you Jack, the items in this locker points to a prepper . He has all sorts learning tools or teaching tools. Can’t wait to see whatever he stored in there. Yeah the witchcraft stuff makes me kinda nervous. Be careful Jack, between the amount of dust and the heaviness of these items, makes me worry about you and your health. Much love for the Chestnut family.😊❤
There are tons of people who collect typewriters… That one is worth snout $75 plus shipping… The clarinet is worth about $30… It will need all new pads…
A little hello from Chiang Mai! It's the return of "Dusty Jack"! Incredible, this locker has been frozen for 25 years! Of course a lot of things to throw in the trash but we hope for lots of treasures too!
The red tool in the very dirty tote is for opening 5 gallon buckets of paint or other things. I’ve used them in the fast food industry to open big buckets of pickles.😊
42:26 Leather strap, either that's for hooking something onto your belt or suspenders OR you need to wash your hands for touching that and don't even think about selling it.
I love these "I dont know what we have here" lockers. It takes me back to when you had so much fun with them. I just dont get that vibe from the toy and comic book lockers anymore.
I don't know, that's a good question. I don't sell it, as I keep it "just in case". LOL. But years ago, we would sell it -- bring it to the flea market and sell for cheap so it goes away in the morning, before the market workers came around.
The wheeled power tool isn't for turning soil, it's a push weed whacker. I have a similar one since I have three acres of property that borders woods and a lake. The gun parts look like the British Sten light machine gun from WW2. A google search for the image will show that you have the gun.
Maybe the keys in the jewelry box open the gun safe or the craftsman tool chest. Didn’t get a very good look at them though. I like this locker a lot. Hope you get your money back and much more!
The Sten has been de-milled…you can see the hole on the breach and the bolt has had mill cut performed. You could purchase those part kits in the 90s. Don’t expose the monocular lens to sunlight…it kills those old Russian night-vision devices.
Jack u need to check with what not and see if it's legal to sell that stuff on it too,,last time I tried to guns and hunting on what not they shut me down now too and had to local and sell that stuff too now....
You would be surprised at the prices of some of those old books. Especially rare and first editions. Some sell for thousands. Get with someone that knows book values and they can help you pick through them quickly. I burn all the worthless books after going thru them.
It would be great if you would read out the year of the newspaper that things are wrapped in so we know the date that the item was packed...It would be a fun fact.
I bought an Olympia Typewriter for 5 bucks at a yardsale and flipped it for 140+shipping on eBay a few weeks ago. They def still have value and a market. But Olympia is the best brand. I'm not sure about Remington.
He was probably former military army most likely the Exchange Catalog is the store on military bases and exclusively for military probably stationed at one time in Germany from some of the items you’re finding
Jack, those black things with the 2 "hooks" are actually gun racks for a pick-up truck!!!!
Back window lol
Known as back in the day, Easy Rider Rifle Rack.
Thanks for the identification!
I came here to say the same thing. Those things were in every pick up truck back in the 80's.
Well, back in my day...(In old lady voice 😂)
The red item at 12:20 is a wrench to open 5 gallon buckets with snap on lids.
Was just going to say that...we used them a lot in HS Biology and Anatomy classes.
A vacuum would make more sense, a blower just fills the air. Love your shows.
I thought….whew, Jesus took the wheel and broke the blower. 😅
You've got a ww2 disassembled British Sten submachinegun there.
all them mags are from the smg ( sterling maybe?)
Ooo, that sounds good. Is that valuable, if I have all the parts?
Wow, I just watched a TH-cam of one of these in action, and it's so cool. Thanks so much for the identification on that. What a great find, and I had no clue!

I end up doing the same thing!

You should name this locker a metaphysical gun toting wizard
LOL, I love it

hahaha funny
Aw man gun safe and we don’t get to see. Was looking forward to that the whole video.
Me too. 😡

Glad you liked that. So far, no $20 bills have arrived, but I guess the video just dropped this morning so I'll give it some time LOL.
The lens that you burned stuff with was for the lantern.
Ah dang it. I hope I saved that lantern!
Before health issues my husband and I used to buy storage units and went to many estate sales and auctions. I got more excited about all the unique items rather than the value. It was so much fun.
I totally agree! Valuable pays the bills, but unique makes the job fun.
I do want to see the pitching machine I did love this you know a lot it's well organized

Ott lights can be expensive because they mimic natural light. crafters and artists use them
Exactly right. That should sell well in the auction, by itself or bundled with a craft lot.

That red thing in your first junk tub is a lid lifter for Home Depot buckets lids 12:17
That round lens u found that burned a hole through the paper goes on that little lantern thing where u said the lens was missing on it❤
Ah! Now it makes sense.
@LockerNuts the only way I knew cause my grandpa had one of those lol hope u & ur family have a wonderful night and God bless u all ❤️❤️❤️❤️
