As a nurse who did lots of pre-surgery teaching I used a medical model like this to teach about what a woman's body would like post surgery and post healing, without reconstruction being done. Very helpful and reassuring for a woman is this discussion process.
@@lizrichardson3309 my 12 year old son keeps my local goodwill in business with book sales.......I believe 🤣 There are a few of you left, I'm just not one of them personally.
Always love your videos! So fun! The model was of a post, single-mastectomy woman. My Mom had a single mastectomy because of breast cancer. She has now been cancer free for almost 15 yrs! 🥰
16:16 Re the dinner plates - Gloria Vanderbilt was a famous fashion designer, artist, heiress. She passed around 2019. Her son is Anderson Cooper, the news anchor.
Jack- as always you are the best when emptying out lockers. Showing us viewers clearly what your seeing, longer videos are nice & at the same time editing at it’s best. A Big Thanks !
I think this person was a reseller. All of the random items purchased at a clearance rate that could be turned over for profit. The boxes are all neat and organized too. Many resellers have storage lockers because they don’t have the house space. Just my thought.
...thinking they were going to make money on clearance and thrift finds, but they bought big stuff with high shipping rates. Probably lost their shirts if they were paying for storage too.
Starting to think this person had a shopping at Goodwill and clearance rack addiction. Some nice things for the most part. Clean and organized makes it nice!
That bamboo and glass tray with butterfly coasters is vintage. My grandmother had a set of those in the '40s/'50s. You should check to see if they are from Japan or a copy from the '70s/'80s.
Megan, yes, you are right. I saw Jocelyn, Crazy Lamp Lady, pick up a set of those recently. I cringed when Jack said he was going to let the set go to Stockton. It's a DeAnza worthy set.
Canning jars are often purchased at yard sales and Goodwill, etc. They definitely hold their value. Quite expensive in the grocery etc. The better market or auction etc. Just my opinion.
I agree. I thinks the owner picked them up knowing they had better resale value on auction. People still do canning will bid on those as they appear brand new. They bought undervalued stuff they knew they could resell for easy money
You didn't even know it, but you helped me out. I was packing a suitcase for my vacation while watching the video. When you got to the clothes, there were little reminders, that reminded me I need this and I need that. Thanks, Jack!!! 😊 I hope you have a great day at Stockton!!!
LOL, that's great! I hate forgetting an essential when I go on a trip. I'm so cheap, it kills me to buy one, especially if it's something I find in lockers all the time.
That xbox has no hard drive...it would be ontop of the system...but look at the model number...the newer models are the good ones that don't easily get the red ring of death...love the Channel!!!
Thank you for running such a clean channel, Jack. I unsubbed from another storage locker channel because they continually take the Lord's name in vain. It matters to some of us. God bless you and your family!
I loved this locker Jack glad it was clean! Loads of little "Nik nacks" and some very interesting finds! Good luck keep digging love from this Scottish Locker Nut ❤️ 👏 x
A little morning hello from Chiang Mai! Another great video for my breakfast! What a bizarre discovery this human trunk in its box! I hope you will tell us later what you did with it! We hope for the sequel soon because this locker is full of promise!
I can help with the autographs on the John Denver and the Muppets LP. We run a Muppet fan site so we've seen a lot of autographs over the years. Oh and the red silicone thing with the straps is for an InstantPot.
My uncle was a machinist near Salem Oregon, he worked on the mold for some of those plaster angels at 59:31 . They are by Margart Furlong, collectible but not highly sought after. That particular one is retired and called Iris Angel, 1997 Special Edition. He sent us one for our Christmas tree. Can't remember which one it was, but it was one that he worked on.
The bust reminds me of my ex moms she was a breast cancer survivor and had something similar. I don’t know if it would be worth a ton but I know it’s expensive to make.
Hello Jack. Let's see what's inside of this abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome. You'll make your money back and more when you sell everything.
I agree with others who has suggested that this locker was owned by a reseller/picker due to the higher resell value of a lot of the items and especially all the goodwill picks.
Had to take a look at storage for sale around me and apparently it's not a big thing in my City since I bought 5 units for less then $10 each lol all full of stuff. Most a unit sold for was $700 but it was full of auto shop parts
Jack, some of the cards can be used for scrapbook in or there are activities for disabled people that make new cards by using the front or using it by making gift boxes. Think twice before you throw it away.
35:56 Jack, pls be careful with plastics in the microwave - I've heard some terrible stories about leeching chemicals. If you've ever seen those round stackable bamboo steamers, Asian made, they are great and cheap as chips! Use them with herbs pounded up in Jamie Oliver's mortar and pestle, and you're dancing!
Love your videos. I heard you say you start all of your what not auctions at $1. I’ve seen a couple of yours in the past and most of the items I thought started at a bottom dollar sort of price. Has that changed? It’s been a minute since I saw one of your auctions…
Yes, in the Whatnot auctions we start everything at $1. On that auction platform, buyer pays shipping and sales tax. You might be referring to our auctions on TH-cam, because we start our lots there at $30 which includes shipping and sales tax, and we also usually sell larger lots there.
Shell ornament, near the video end, appears to be a Margaret Furlong, Oregon artist. Collectible. Some retired or vintage, can be more valuable. Most, I think, retail 20-50 ish.
Carey, I think you're right. I have a friend who has quite the collection of them. I helped her set up her tree a couple of years ago and sourced them while we looked through them, for fun.
Those colorful long tubes 15:39 are lanterns (Asian). You push down on the top and they spread out and you put a candle inside. Should have a round circle for the candle. Those look very old. Lit they are beautiful.
Hey, I don't know how about USA, but in Europe Bialetti is very posh and valuable Italian brand, especially coffe makers. High quality for sure :) great video, all the best ☕
When you find older books, check imprint page to look for first edition or first printing. These can be very valuable if popular fiction/writer/foundational text books
I've had scratched up gungey pots and pans far worse than that. I use the powdered stainless cleaner, and they come up like spanking new. For the cost of that stuff and a little elbow grease, you could likely double their value.
I believe that is a mastectomy phantom. We used to use those either in X-ray or ultrasound training/ medical device accuracy checks. They are very expensive.
I’m in a fairly small town and I’m haveing trouble finding places to sell some of the more random items. Brand new wheelchair, scuba diving gear, other random things like that. Anyone have ideas of how to sell them with no close by markets
When taking a photo it's best to change to macro setting which is for things like insects.. also sometimes you don't need to zoom in... Take actual photo and let it focus automatically then zoom in on the picture you have taken.
Absolutely! We are straight up getting played by both parties. We need better representation, that's for sure, but I don't know if it will ever happen. There's too much money being made and too much power at stake, and they just keep getting richer and more powerful. They want us scared, sick and in debt, so we will look to them to fix all our problems for us. Critical thinking is getting replaced with indoctrination in our schools, so a whole new generation of followers is being brought up. Sorry... now I got off on a rant, and this is supposed to be a fun channel here. LOL.
We might put that in one of our upcoming Whatnot auctions. I have to do a 2nd pass through all the "good" boxes I put aside, and sort the items for auction.

It makes me smile when Jack says "Nothing interesting here, just a bunch of books". For me, the books are more interesting than the X-Boxes! 😄
I took several boxes of them to the market, asked $1 each, and sold less than 10. They might be interesting to some, but they are not good for resale.

The Veuve Cliquot bag is for picnics. You chill your bottle & it keeps it cold 🍾🥂
That bamboo and glass tray with butterfly coasters is vintage. My grandmother had a set of those in the '40s/'50s. You should check to see if they are from Japan or a copy from the '70s/'80s.
The tray and butterfly coasters can be worth upwards of $60-100.

The bust could be a cast of a breast cancer survivor . I haven't seen any but have seen artists do cast of survivor's
I think you may be right, and there was a strap that goes around the person after surgery to hold bandages and give support during recovery ❤
I think the same thing when I saw it when he opened the box. Definitely a body casting of a breast cancer survivor.
If it is Jack please return it
Yup. I bet she passed from breast cancer. I know this is your job, but it’s so sad thinking of the pain these people went through. It’s heartbreaking.
