@@DJJulzNJ my wife just gave me the green light to get one , this or the Hercules inpulse t7 ? Im just looking for a one time purchase for the long haul and I come from turntables so my scratching fundamentals I still have and I like the rev5 for mixing capabilities and at my age of 52 even though I know how to still scratch I'm more concerned about creating dope mixes 😮 so what would you choose?
All dj controllers are the same run the same there is no difference other then extra stuff added on to the controller. once you figure out where all the buttons and dials are for what you want to do with it. I own a ddj1000 and going from that to the rev5
Hey man, that will be smooth transition to upgrade from the Rev 1 because it's a similar layout with the battle style mixer. You will have more features at your finger tips. Hope that helps!
Absolutely, you’ll feel right at home with the Rev 5 bc it’s the same layout. You’ll just need a couple days to familiarize yourself with the new features. But you will feel more professional at gigs since it doesn’t look or feel like a toy. That was my only issue with the Rev1
Hey! This one can definitely be used for a beginner to advanced especially if you plan on gigging. You won't need to upgrade your equipment for a while. If you don't want to spend the money for this one you could get the DDJ-Rev 1 ( like this amzn.to/3woBgKE ) , similar battle style layout with less features but would work if on a budget! Hope that helps!
Nice! I ordered this, but it's on Back Order right now. I'm excited for STEMS & the Piano pad features. I'm upgrading from a FLX-6
Dope!!! That's a nice upgrade from the FLX-6 especially with the battle style mixer! Haven't used piano mode yet but I've seen what it can do 🧨
Rev 5 is a beast of a controller. Loving mine and the features!!! I use it as my venue/bar gig controller. Easier to carry on my back than the Rev 7.
Nice!!!! Yeah i was surprised at how light it was. I haven't played on the Rev 7 yet, I enjoy the motorized platters 😎
Mixon pro 8 is a beast, this is highly over priced,

Do you suggest this for a DJ who learned on a Rev 1, getting some gigs and looking to upgrade?

Do you know how to factory reset the pioneer rev 5
Press and hold the Play/Pause button and the Tempo Bend button for 10 seconds. Let me know if that works!
Have you tried the Teufel Hifi stereo ?

Pls my question is does it’s work with MacBook Pro 2014 big sur ?
