Hi Sreshma, there are many products specially to past gold leaf but believe me Varnish is more convenient, low cost and easily available product if you wanna work with gold leaf. answer of your question's second part is let the background color dry completely then apply gold leaf. Hi Maahi, I'm using varnish of a Local Brand, u can also use any brand, dosnt matter, just wait few minutes after applying varnish, when varnish becomes sticky then you have to apply gold leaf. hope you got the point. Stay blessed n stay connected 💖😊
