I’ve used landr for a few years and one thing I will say is in regards to distribution- as long as you’re subscribed your music will be out on all streaming platforms. The minute you unsubscribe it gets removed from the platforms. Other than that the service is dope
I wish you could make a video to really show what LANDR matering does to your song (or mine for that matter). I am not convinced it does anything else but making a louder. But I can do that myself. It's not easy to know anything for sure ...
I had the chance to choose either Landr for $300 a year or buy Ozone 9 Advanced on PluginBoutique for $300 (when it was a better deal than paying $500 which is still worth it). As I'm typing right now, it's on sale so I suggest getting it before it goes to the regular price. I could have paid $150 for it right now if I waited lol
@@AveMcree I'll watch them all keep up the great work! And ill stay posted. Content for the iPad would be Lit, I thought it was a toy but NOW I've learned better lol. Stay up and be safe.
Your Majesty same and judging by the time it took me to send it to landr vs ozone. Landr was a crap ton faster but ozone can do a.i in seconds (though you still have to set levels and setup up different media formats manually.
Bavin Geter I’m still developing and learning. I don’t think my mixes will ever be “perfect “. I say this because I’m always adapting to the current environment.
Are Hi-MP3's good to upload to streaming sites such as TH-cam and Instagram? Also,do you have to upload a Wav file if you plan on downloading a Hi-MP3 from LANDR.This is something I've been trying to find out for a while.
Hey I have a question. If u choose monthly, does that just let you them master your song for just that month, then u have too buy another month after your original month is over?? Let's just say I wanna use it this month, then I dont need it for a couple of months. Is that how you can use the monthly version
not a good master all they did was boost an compress . u can do that with a limiter an some compression presets then brighten it up with a parametric eq
I used the free trial back when they first came out. I liked it but never subscribed to it. I see now that they upgraded plus you can get your music streamed now. Hmmmm
Vast majority of the time a simple automated mastering process is all you need if the mixing is done right. Hip hop, trap and some EDM genres, for example, do not benefit from the artistic input of a mastering engineer as much. As for pieces which do, it is still not rocket science. Is just a game of spectrum balance, dynamic range, volume and stereo width. So .. yeah, mastering services do add a lot of value, if you don't want to play that game.

Sean Blaque now that’s crazy
Yea man. I put it to the test! I don’t think you’d want to keep paying $39.99 monthly if you’re not a volume type of musician/producer/artist.
Thanks for mentioning that fine print... Shalom.

Jesus Valdes bingo
Basically if you can mix the crap out of a song and upload it at a decent level say -6 db your landr master should sound pretty good

Can you then take the mastered version and upload it to distrokid?
Yes
wheres the link to hear the track from the artist
"WAAAV and hd WAAAV" 😂

Hey bro I wanted to buy a loop kit from you but there's no previews of what I get 😢 is there any chance you have previews somewhere? Thanks bro ❤
Ave how long did it take you to develop an ear for engineering/mastering and do you think every producer should acquire that skill?

Nicholas Cartagena yea I was surprised myself

Hmmm I totally understand bad mix but even bad mix shouldn't clip after Master

Landr has horrible customer support
Mastering is actually really easy once you get it
YRL Carlo$ mastering is never easy because not every song (depending on your taste palette) sounds or feels the same.
@@AveMcree how would you compare LANDS's free master to a paid LANDR's master?
Lol wtf dont ever say that😂
