This tourney of his is without a doubt the best an 18-year old has ever done against elite grown competition.
Also, time goes by so fast…
His potential is insane but like most inernational players his whole career while depend on who he's drafted by. If he lands with the right organization for his play style he might dominate the league. The size and ball handling at this age are incredible.
Spurs need to trade for him. that's best case scenario for Luka. obviously probably won't happen.

The hawks are the spurs east and will probably be picking in the top 2 he would add more creativity and open looks to a backcourt that already has a talented but a little inconsistent playmaker in Dennis Schroeder. 2 or 3 years ago we averaged north of 25 assists per game and were even undefeated one month. I’d love to see the pass happy hawks return. This is my #1 guy for my team even though Ayton is going to be a problem in the nba.

It’s weird that Luka could shoot pull up jumpers off the dribble back then, now he really can’t do it without doing a step back. He looks a little lighter and quicker to. He’s obviously amazing now and prob top 3 in the world, but it would be nice if he could mix in some of that older style more traditional moves that he obviously had in his bag back then.

He's alot quicker and faster here. He's gained atleast 25ibs since here. That's why he has the pull up here, rather than now he more of a slow down shooter

Competitive, great shooter with good delivery on shot, bouncy not overly athletic but better than average, great vision as well. I think he and Booker would be a great backcourt duo if that's what the suns decide to do. His skills translate very well to what the NBA is about these days.

comparisons too james harden/ginoboli/larry bird is in my opinion realistic. Im not saying hes gonna be as good as james or larry bird so dont go crazy. He might not even be the best player 5 years from now compared to other players in this draft, but i think he can completley turn around a teams culture. Its hard to gauge his ceiling because he doesnt compare athletically to the other top 10 prospects but skill and naturual basketball iq for a prospect is underlooked in my opinion. Plus he absolutely dominated the top european players in the world and got better as the level of intesity increased. He was on par with dragic and hes only 18. Im curious if hes gonna stay in consideration of the number 1 or even the top 3, when pre draft workouts come around and teams get enamored by these top college players athletisicm, especially with this crazy stacked draft

While others are just kids playing against kids. Doncic can play in NBA right now he is totaly ready NBA player... he ran over Porzings, Ginobili... on this FIBA EuroBasket 2017. And today he is even stronger faster, higher... but still only 19 years old.
Ginobili is Argentinian so no, he ain't playing him ... yet. :D

I love his size, passing, ball handling, jump shot, and potential. He just needs to work on his defense and he could be a little more athletic.

Nightmare Nightmare You don't need to jump high to grab rebounds. Steph curry is 6'3" and averages 5.1 rebounds a game. Chris Paul is 6'0" and averages 5.4 rebounds a game. It's about positioning and awareness.
