I noticed that the footwork seems to be so much faster too. Now he plays and manipulates the game to go at his own pace but he did always look really in control of everything. Regardless of the speed of the game.

You're referring to his pace and yes, a skinny Luka plays slightly up tempo similar to a Nash type guard. He's got the wake up call in his 3rd season and now in these WCF games. He'll spend his off season finding a regiment that works and gets him slimmer than he is. Trust me, he's just a kid enjoying himself but he IS recognizing his weaknesses and addressing them. Except for freethrows, no idea why he hasn't figured that out with crazy shots by the hundreds in his bag 🙄 The freethrow line and his constant call chasing is his greatest fundamental flaws as a player.
