Tidy machine room, no unrelated items stored within, installer did a good job with the conduit run from the secondary disconnect box. Oh yes, high voltage for sure in the controller cabinet least 440VAC 3 phase power.
@@Jamestube8439 yes some of their installations can be pretty quiet. But I noticed with their series 5 installations I've noticed more Otis series 5 elevators with a loud motor compared to a quiet motor. But with series 1 it's 50-50 when it comes to how loud the motor is.
Curious to know, Do you have access to these rooms and places like are you allowed to do this? That room looks like it should be a floor in the Backrooms (indie game)
WOW!!! This is one of the most quiet Series 1 hydraulic machines I've ever heard. Very well maintained!
Indeed it is, Series 1s rarely disappoint me.

Wow you sure know a lot about it. I'm impressed!
I love the noise of the elevator room
My favorite smell of the elevator machine room
Oh yeah the lovely smell of hydraulic fluid!
Machine rooms are awesome, a couple of years ago, I went down to the basement, at my high school to hear the elevator room. It was great.
They are cool, glad I got this opportunity
Nice video!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Very nice!
Indeed it is. Just wait, I got tons of machine room videos going up in the future. I think I have one going up today.
I love the elevator machine room.
Me too.
That is amazing how quiet it is in the machine room going up. That or my settings are messed up
Otis is known for having quiet hydraulic motors. I've come across many that are extremely quiet.

@@JordanLoweElevaToursCanada Honestly, it's the other way around for me. Most Series 5s I've found have quiet machine room motors.
Must be one of the last ones installed. That's an almost brand new machine
It's possible but I doubt that. I've seen a few machine rooms for Otis Series 1 and I can say I've seen this exact machine before.
That startup sound is weird and quiet at full run.
Otis is known for their quiet hydraulic motors.
Be careful In there guys if you are in the machine room
Machine room quieter than the fan
Yeah so true
Quiet motor, but quite loud when leveling.
Yeah, still it's a pretty good elevator.

The machine room was open and the basement cannot be locked.
@@Jamestube8439 ah ok
That fan is annoying
Can't agree more.
