Coming from 40 years of boy Scouts I have never been interested in anything other than a straight blade. Thank you for introducing me to these.

I've had my eye on that Flissa for a good while now so thanks for this video reminder to pick one up.👍 Added one to my most recent order. Looks like a nice size for everyday carry.

Thank You for sharing! For your tracker if you have extras get a nice kydex or leather holster for it

That Nedfoss is Sweet! I can't put it down either. Carves great chops great like you said and I don't know either but I call it a Recurve blade. Good Picks Mr👍

I love the tracker . I just got the 40$ warvio tracker after watching your video on it. Awesome video, really digging the channel .

Spot on with the Flissa hunter. I have two and really like them. One sheath is tight, the the loose-a little hockey tape solved the problem.

I have an actual Khukuri knife, made in Nepal, and it has a six inch blade. Yes it cost more then the one you showed, but its just so, There! It chops great, and when slicing I use the edge near the handle. I have yet to try throwing it, but its built tough enough. I've worked a nice 20 degree edge on it, using my Ken Onion Work Sharp, and it took that edge nicely. So a good all around camp knife, and if I had to defend myself with it, I think the shock and awe value would play a big part.

New to the channel . Dont know if you have used one , but the GI Tanto , is a great beater knife . Cross between a knife and a cleaver . Finally retired mine , after getting too many dents on the cutting edge .

Would you choose the Flissa over the ontario Rat 3? Ive been very impressed with the sort of knock off RAT 3 from Ontario (not a true ESEE). I hate the sheath but the knife has been exceptional in the woods. It cost 3 times the Flissa but the size, intended use and shape are similar. Wondering your thoughts

      Looks great! Very esee looking

@@411Outdoors yes sir. ESEE had Ontario Knife Company as their first manufacturer when ESEE was still called RAT randalls adventure training. Later on they switched manufacture to Rowan. The earliest RAT's were OKC. The biggest difference between the RAT 3 and modern Esee 3 is blade thickness and handle. Also the OKC sheath is crap. But the knife.. is a budget beast and I have really beaten the shit out of mine and it is good to go.

I have recently discovered that I have a condition--a defect, some would say--of being attracted to cheap knives from China. Not always China, but the majority. There are some legit values out there that make for great beaters and extremely serviceable EDC blades.
