Such a beautiful orchid. If it smells like pure citrus then the fragrance is probably mostly from the Rhyncholaelia Digbyana ancestor. My favorite fragrant orchid is Angraecum Didieri. A small monopodial orchid that can be grown on a window sill. It has a fragrance that is not only my favorite orchid fragrance but actually my favorite fragrance of any flower. The smell is impossible to describe. It is unlike anything else i have ever smelled. Very pleasant. It blooms for me every summer. I also like the fragrance of Brassavola Nodosa 'Susan Fuchs'. Brassavola Perrinii has a very pleasant powdery/citrusy fragrance. I have a large frilly white cattleya called Cattleya Earl 'Imperialis' that has never bloomed for me. maybe i will convert it to semi-hydro this summer since that cultivation method seems to have worked nicely for you. Thank you for the information. i might have to add Rlc Burdekin Wonder 'Lakeland' to my collection. :D

I tried three times to grow Brassavola nodosa, and they all died unfortunately, not sure if I did anything wrong, or there were already some problems with the plants. About Brassavola perrini and Angraecum didieri, I would love to find them, but I didn't find any in UK orchid nurseries, and after Brexit importing orchids from EU have become really expensive due to the phitosanitary certificate required, and in order for EU purchase to be cost-effective with the expense of the phytosanitary certificate, I would need to order in bulk from EU, and I can't as I have really very little space left for growing orchids; but I will defnitely add the species that you recommended me to my wish list, I hope they will be available to buy in the UK at some point
