  • Useful technique - Demonstrating how to do a semi pass over. Where the pipes are 100mm apart and the gap not to exceed 20mm.
    Once you understand it you can use this technique on any pipe diameter and pipe spacing.
    This will help you to get a good score in any practical assessment you may have related to this
    Normally and end of second year assessment.

      I teach more or less the same, I explain that by using the drawing as a guide, you can produce the same bend in a piece of pipe, over and over and they will all look the same, for a row of cubicles for example, rather than doing it by eye, where they will be different.
