    To put paint back in the tube I squeeze or shake the tube to get the paint in the tube toward the bottom, then you can squeeze the air out of the tube and suck up the paint directly from the palette. Know what I mean?

    Wow! This is a masterpiece! The steps lighting and shadows look so hard, but you did a phenomenal job. What is the link of the gouache book you mentioned? Also have you tried reverse searching the image into google to see if it finds information about the piece?
