The glue I use is a polychloroprene adhesive, and it can be thinned with toluene. It’s a very strong contact adhesive with a strong smell, so it needs to be used near an exhaust fan or with a mask. I keep my brushes in toluene. If you use something similar, you should ask the manufacturer what thinner they use in their glue, and keep your brushes in that thinner.
