    I appreciate your eye for cool things that most people would just walk by. The first car in that yard is a 65 Ford Thunderbird, give or take a few years. Great video, brother.

      tHanks... Is that a Cutlass ahead of it? I used to not think much of the Cutlass, ...but I realized it is a pretty good looking car....all these years later.

      @Dancing Alone wRentals I am not sure if I was to guess. I think an early or middle 70s dodge.

      tHank you sir! It isn't a complicated as building a car out of wine barrels...but I still have to focus my small brain on the task.
      Your rat rod barrel is looking sharper and sharper. You must be excited at this point.

    I'm here for the Ducks! Pretty neat and good customer service is just gone so That's good. Well I just put my tractor jack out for trash 2 weeks ago found another on FB for 70 that's lighter and easier to maneuver whomever got my old one probably fixed with a O ring! You need a boat also💯😂👍🏾

    Cheers - you’ve just saved me £20 👍 only needed to take out and clean/lube the o-ring, which is definitely feeling looser than it should be, but it will keep me going for now.

    Nice pumps. Easy fixes too!
    A 2¢ O ring can fix a $1000 piece.
    Can also fix a $150 Jack.

      I get a big kick out of fixing the small things. Rake handles are a favorite.
      I'll fix the big problems later....World peace, hunger...I'll get to that after dinner.

    The trouble with those O-ring kits is they always seem to run out of the size you need first! Also, you should translate those Canada-Goose-Measurements to inches for @TheJunkyardNecromancer as he can't figure out the M-Ms, haha!! (P.S. feel free to chase those Murder Ducks, they really bow down if you show aggression, lol!)

    but how did you get the pump apart in order to get to the o-ring?

    • @Dancing_Alone_wRentals
      @Dancing_Alone_wRentals  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey there....
      tHanks for stopping in.
      It is a twist and pop. There are two holes in the sides of the metal pump housing. The plastic top has two points that stick out and match those two holes.
      It may fight you a bit until you see how it goes together.

    • @HorseSheRodeInOn
      @HorseSheRodeInOn 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Dancing_Alone_wRentals Thank you for quick response. I was told to stick paperclips into the tiny holes at the same time to release the collar. I have tried that and it hasn't worked. Are you saying just to twist it off? Would that be clockwise? Thanks, again!

    • @Dancing_Alone_wRentals
      @Dancing_Alone_wRentals  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@HorseSheRodeInOn Not a twist like a jar lid, but rather a little motion to help release those tabs.
      I think you are on the right track with the paper clip idea.
      It isn't a metal spring but rather plastic that you will bending out of the way a touch.
      If you can push in with pens it may be easier than the paperclips.
      The secret is to get frustrated....then hide it from the rest of us...That is what we do. Always record the smiles and post them to the Internet meanwhile all the comments about some foolhearted engineer that designed such a miserable pump ....go unnoticed.
      Victory will be yours!
