    Informative video.Thanx. I am so disgusted at the amount of ads in the magazines and the poor quality of writing and information these magazines offer now. I had to search for the articles in an avalanche of ads like I was looking for a lottery ticket. I found Jerry Brainum's articles at APPLIED ERGOGENICS online on bodybuilding, sports nutrition and fitness online with no ads . Best read online.None of the articles I found compare to Jerry Brainum!

    Respect to Steve Cook for not forcing supplements, especially ON supps down our throats.
    Granted he is sponsored by ON so he has more supplements at his disposal than most of us, but he is straight forward about their benefits, what he takes and he emphasizes that these are supplements to a good diet and hard training.

    80% of people who are about to rip on Steve Cook about these supplements have zero Idea what they're talking he's making suggestions and teaching the general public he's not necessarily saying everyone who's going to lift needs this or that. He's merely giving an incite to each products affects, relax. These help him have the extra edge in ELITE competition, not your local gym where you're going in for the fact to just improve yourself.

    It's been a long time since i've been as impressed with fitness video content as I have with yours.. Only wish you wouldn't have put some of it on your website which requires a fee.     Just watched your new video about Optimum Nutrition Supplements and i really like it. i'm still confused about what to use exactly.
    My goals are to gain some mass this winter and then start cutting around Januar-Febuary.
    Right now i'm taking these:
    ON Creatine Monohydrate
    ON Serious Mass
    Cellucor C4 Preworkout
    Am i missing anything or? Just wanna know your opinion and what you think that i should take to get some good mass.

    My biggest problem is not going catabolic because of having hypo glycemia. I'm still working on getting my eating routine down but I still feel like some supplements could help me keep my body from going catabolic and staying anabolic. I think I'm saying this right.

    Hi Steve. Just wanted to mention that the only way for the muscles to get energy is via ATP, breaking it down to ADP. You mention that the body can use other ways of getting energy in the creatine segment. But i think your mistaken it with the body's ability to get ATP from different sources (carbs, fat, protein and alcohol) and thereby different chainreactions

    I used to compete in BB. Won Mr. P. A. and second place in Mr. N.Y. State in 2003 I agree with a Whey protein as a supplement and Creatine. If your eating properly then you really don't need much else , maybe HMB depending on your conditioning. With that said EVERYBODY is different try everything and see what works for you. Keep track and then you will know.

    do higher repetitions on each set instead of 3 sets of 8-10 do 3sets of 15-20 on a good weight for you and you will see a definition to your muscle after a while but you have to give it time. also make sure its a weight you can lift easily but not to easy because if its to heavy your muscles will get bigger. hope this helped

    You gave overall advice for guys, how about one for girls? I for example can only take half a scoop of pre-workout (makes me to jittery) and two-thirds of a scoop of BCAA. Can you bring Katy to talk about her supplement regiment in more detail?

    or
    2:- Two in the morning and one in the lunch
    or

      i think it is best to spread throughout the day and it is also better to have with meals

    I have upset stomach after creatines:
    Swanson dimagnesium(?)
    Controlled Labs Green Magnitude
    Universal was the lightest on the stomach but I got some breathing problems
    What about this brand ? Is it no side effect ??

    idk how many lbs i gain in a week i did it during fall/winter but yeah i take it everyday when i worked out 5 days on my lifting days. i took 2 scoops and added it in a blender with a scoop of peanut butter, banana, cup of oats, milk but if im lazy and dont use blender i just put it in my blender bottle 2 scoops and milk or water

    working every muscle everyday will never give your muscles time to recover and grow. Workout each muscle 1-2 times each week, but every time you do, go super hard. Like past your limit. Your muscle breaks down on those final reps. Getting good nutrition with products like Whey protein immidietely after the workout lets your muscles recover and grow. They need a day or two to fully grow

    @16:00 I am so jealous of all of those single serving size Amino Energy packets! I want to try every single flavor, but I'm just so addicted to Watermelon ;) and that's before I knew it didn't have food dye/color like the other flavors. I buy the 65 serving size of Watermelon once every two weeks. The other day I finally thought it was time to try at least one new flavor. So I bought a 30 serving of Strawberry Lime - pretty good! Haha and it just so happens that Strawberry Lime is the only other flavor without food dye as well... ALTHOUGH! I'm not 100% sure on Pineapple, there actually might be a chance on that flavor, but I can't seem to get a hold of the nutrition facts. Also I'm not counting the Cafe Series (which broke my heart when I found out there was milk in them. Literally deflated me. But I hope everyone enjoys them and I hope they do great for ON). I want to try them all so bad, I just wish the other fruity flavors didn't had food dye/colors. I'm still willing to try them though. Next one on the list is either Pineapple or Green Apple. :) Sigh, the whole Cafe Series would have been my favorite flavor - all four.
    One more thing - and this is for Steve. In the video you mentioned that you're not a fan of the use of proprietary blends (on board with you there), It's unfortunate that Amino Energy actually uses proprietary blends. Does that throw you off that at all? I mean, personally, it doesn't bother me one bit. I feel I don't require to know the amount of these particular ingredients listed. I'm just going to assume this is how ON keeps their amazing taste an unknown formula to competitors out to replicate their outstanding achievement.
    Anyways... I'm done rambling. I don't even know why I said all that haha. I guess I just love my ON products :} Take care! Go ON!!!!

    I know that protein will give mass, because its the building block of the muscles. But is Steve saying in this that Creatine will contribute to this mass? I'm lookin into building a mix of strength and mass, but predominantly for aesthetics. Anyones help would be handy. Keep up the good work Steve.
