Buying at a RV Show??.........Let me fill you in. I worked for 17 years in the RV Industry. RV shows are put on to SELL RV's!! Not because manufacturers or dealers love to provide a consumer service. When you walk around a show, think about, 1) how they got all these RV's to the show, 2) who pays for all this space, 3) how about electricity, carpet betweeen RV's, decorations; give a ways. Well the answer is YOU, the cost to participate in any show is added in to the price of the RV's. You DEFINITELY can buy the same unit for LESS at a dealers location. So LOOK at the show, compare and get pricing......then buy once you are back home.
I totally agree the show is to sell RV's, also agree with your last statement to go home and work a deal with your local dealer your likely to get a better deal

Yes it was, thanks for letting me know where I found the clip because I had lost that data when I lost everything on my external drive. So sorry for the miss. I will make note of it in the comments. Sadly I have several clips that I lost the data on where they came from.

@@MyBucketListDay No not yet. We are gonna wait till this spring. We just talked with Walnut Ridge RV in Indiana over the holidays so we could get our eyes on a Model G3500 in person. The fit and finish is awesome.

WOW kind of sounds like you are going to get a Brinkley! I certainly don’t blame you. I personally don’t think I want ANY 5th wheel after seeing your issues. I have a 31’ travel trailer. But I know like you said regardless what the Weights say these things are not designed to be used as expected.
I see Brinkley is starting to get in the travel trailer line. I’m watching if you see any of them at the show.

Oh wow Jeff! Sounds like a real blast and wish I could make it down to the livestock pen to the meet-up. But will be having pizza with Taylor Swiift and a ride on the Hindenburg. If I can corral enough hot-air from you celeb/ "content" folk. Livestock? sounds about right, as you all sure can sure "sling-it. Ha!

Hey Jeff! You may have answered this earlier and if you have, I apologize. But, what caused you to get rid of your 2006 American Eagle? My wife and I have been full-time for a little over 7 years in a 2016 Big Country 3950FB 5th wheel which, I must say, has given us great service with minimal issues. But we are considering converting to a 2002-2009 Class A RV. Mainly to have more basement room and more living space without a kitchen island. Anyway, I saw one of your videos that you commented on how much you loved the American Eagle and I was just curious as to why you decided to get rid of it. Thanks! 😁
Well truth be told, I sold it when my daughter stopped wanting to travel the country every summer. Kinda happened when she got her driver's license. Then when she went off the collage, I get the itch to get back on the road. But work at that time wouldn't allow it. When Biden got it office , the first day he wrote an executive order and shut down my business. I was in the Tech development world for the Military. So I decided to go back to RVing and a friend mentioned to look at a 5th wheel toy hauler as it has so much more space that a class A, It does so I made the jump. Big regret, I should have gone back to a class A and pulled a car hauler for the extra space I needed. I had a car hauler the last class A I had. Much better set up....
